Steve Allen of the Bridport branch of Symonds and Sampson has been my estate agent for my most recent sale. His valuation of my home was the highest of the 3 agents I chose, and proved to be the most accurate. On the day my home went on the market, 2 couples booked viewings and one of those couples purchased my property. Steve has handled my sale with the highest level of professionalism, integrity and intelligence. If he has been unable to take my calls, due to being engaged or out of the office, he has never failed to call me back. Nothing has been too much trouble. The whole team at the Bridport office have been exemplary with their client relations and have treated both me and my purchasers with respect and kindness. They are brilliant and I can't recommend them highly enough.

From the start to the end a very positive experience; definitely the best estate agents in town by a looong way! Anabel and the team were always helpful and approachable. She made sure the pressure was kept on during the conveyancing and communicated with the solicitors on both sides in order to get to exchange and completion as quickly as possible. The team at Symonds & Sampson were helpful and proactive from the outset, particularly in helping us to find a local solicitor to assist with a very swift purchase. Isobella was always prompt, pleasant and helpful whenever we had queries or issues, and they liaised well with the sellers’ solicitor. We achieved completion in five weeks! Daniel & Isobel at Bridport branch looked after me very well in buying my home and then in the sale a couple of years later. Being on both sides of purchase & sale, neither process was to stressful. I have always used Symonds and Sampson in the past for renting and recently for selling my home. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, but Steve Allen always goes the extra mile. He is experienced, knowledgeable and patient. He always gives excellent advice in a friendly manner which recently resulted in a very successful property sale, I cannot praise him enough!

I have rented a property with S&S for 4 years, the letting team have been fantastic. Despite having a rather tricky landlord, the girls have been really kind, helpful and professional. Though we initially wanted to go with purple bricks to save money, I was impressed with the argument Daniel made for using a local estate agent, and the decision was absolutely the right one. Daniel had people in mind who were looking for a property like ours and he was able to secure a sale for us within two weeks of putting it on the market. The service was speedy and efficient, Isobella marketed it beautifully for us and the whole team were helpful and friendly throughout the process. They also advised and negotiated when needed, making the process as pain free as possible.

Absolutely awful company, no help what so ever when we were vacating our rented property. We had to chase them for what we should be doing with the house, a checklist etc…we heard nothing from them for weeks then a week before we were due to leave they then send us an email with everything they needed to be done but however with the lack of time they gave us to get it done was completely unrealistic.
Unless you want to do the work yourself and constantly chase them then they are for you!
Also really bad attitude and no help what so ever. Will never buy or rent a house with this company again.
