Ordered a case of Prosecco which we had tried in a restaurant and found it online with The Fine Wine Company. Ordering on the website was easy and it did mention a 7-10 day lead time which was fine as we were going away. We received an email 2 days later saying it was being shipped by DPD the next day. So messaged them asking if we could a hold on the delivery and they called us straight back to confirm the hold. The order was delivered to us a few days later when we returned from our holiday break. Was all round excellent customer service, we appreciate that many customers would be glad to get their order earlier than expected and our request was unusual, but it was no trouble for them all all. Will definitely use them again. Thank You.

I would never order from this place, ordered £130 worth of wine for a party said between 3-5 working days so I thought plenty of time as it was for a party. 6 working days over and I tried calling twice and left voicemail. No reply. On the 7th day I tried calling again as it was needed for the party yet again no answer so I left voicemail. The 8th day as it was no longer needed as I had to find alternatives and called one last time and same again no reply. I made a chargeback and left them a email to say it was no longer needed. And funny enough I did get a reply this time that said they have notice I made a chargeback and they were going to send the items out today but they won’t be doing that anymore and told me to continue to deal with my bank for a refund. It would have been nice if you had called me back after leaving numerous messages just to let me know what’s going on. I find this company totally unreliable and would never ever use again

RIP off delivery cost wines not the same as I originally tasted.. very disappointed never again.. when I asked for a return and refund they wanted to charge me £8 for returning the rubbish wine.. what a rip off never again..

I wanted to send some Italian wine. Since my friend lives on one of the Scottish islands, I was having trouble finding a company who would be able to deliver there. No problems at all with The Fine Wine Company! Super selection,super efficient, well priced and smooth delivery exactly when expected to arrive.

Really happy with my order. Lovely wine and fast delivery. Surprised at some of the reviews, so thought I'd add my experience. For me I ordered very late Monday night and it arrived Thursday morning, so can't complain!

I had the privilege, to an encounter clerk named Karen in Braddock hills Fine and spirits liquor store. Karen was very polite kind very well rounded and extremely educated on pro liquor sales and community service policy. Karen was a wonder help for customers who felt lost in choice alcohol selections. Karen made each customer feel comfortable and confident in choice of purchase. Karen is a wonder person to have your in your company and within unions. I recommend the company find an away to promote Karen due to educational environment osha emergency experience that can help over see state mergers.

I ordered some wine for my wedding and asked the team to hold it for me and deliver closer to the wedding.

The team were great and the delivery arrived exactly as planned. Great service.

Even when my delivery went astray, they went to great lengths to re deliver my order.

Great experience! I was a bit unsure about using the company because of the mixed reviews-but they have a good selection of wines that we wanted and so we thought we would give them a try. I'm glad we did-we had a very positive experience. Delivery came within the timeframe expected, bottles exactly as ordered, packaged very safely. Nothing broken. From our standpoint we will definitely order from them again!

Ordered various bottles, among which a £79 grappa that arrived in a box with bended margins and smelling strongly of grappa. I suspected it had leaked, so wrote an email straight away. I was told I needed to wait as they had to investigate. No one investigated and in the meantime I opened the bottle which had an unpleasant taste. I wrote another email but they suggested I can't recognise what a grappa should taste like. Shame I can't give a negative score as 1 star is too much for this company.

Order 6 bottles of fine wine to arrive next day for a special celebration. They did not arrive, so had to go out and buy some fine wine. Apparently returned to sender and insufficiently packed. They offered to send some more out but did not apologies or sympathise with me as it was for a special occasion. I then asked for a full refund which was granted. Very disappointed with overall service and won't be recommending them to friends and family.
