very unprofessional, actually inadequate and very poor. still waiting after months. delaying payment at every stage.

As a former IFA, I would say that the service supplied to advisers is 5 star. However, if you happen to end up being a direct client because you don't want to deal with an IFA any more (in my case because I have no need of professional support, being an investment professional myself), then you are treated like a novice and regulatory rules are blamed. The functioning of the trading functions using Windows PC's has also become problematic at the time of writing and the back up procedures are plainly bonkers.
I guess that Transact don't really want to have direct customers but there are always going to be a few and I think we deserve a better and more customised level of service, as we still pay our fees.
It might be said that we could just transfer to a lower cost platform like II or A J Bell, but there are reasons why some of us cannot or would find it very tedious.
In summary, a great adviser platform, but does not really value, and indeed may not want to keep, direct clients.
The reply to this commentary is similar to the responses I have received personally and fails completely to deal with specific issues, such as the fact that documentation supplied is inappropriate and to a non-expert would in fact be confusing ir even misleading.
In the light of what I personally, as a former Chartered Financial Planner with over 35 years experience dealing with multiple regulators, know to be best practice in blending compliance with great client service, I must lower my rating on response to what I take to be an arrogant attitude.

My experience was made great, by how simple the process was. I was anticipating being put on hold potentially an oversea call center - but no very professional.

In an update to my previous review. Once I escalated my complaint to a senior manager, he was very helpful and dealt with the withdrawal straightaway. The money landed, the following week.
In conclusion the general staff seem to drift though their day with little or no urgency. Speaking to a manager was the only way for me to relieve my frustration.

Transact very visibly care about their investors, particularly, as in my case, smaller investors. I would always go back to them.

And they are always very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and explain everything clearly. The online platform is a joy to use and the information is always up to the minute and presented in an intuitive, user-friendly way. No stress experience

I am really greatful for the service provided by Transact. Without having a financial advisor, they always offer clear helpful advice on how to operate your account.

Ryan has been extremely efficient, helpful and understanding in dealing with my pension payment request. He has done this in a timely manner, taking into consideration my health diagnosis, and for that I’m really grateful.

Transact have dealt with our affairs for many years now. As an adviser platform, they work well with my financial adviser and I have very little need to contact them directly. This is how the platform works, so if you are struggling, get a competent Transact financial adviser involved.

We have never been disappointed with their service or the time it takes them to complete actions. Their client portal is second to none (and I have experienced many).

Negative reviews here should probably be disregarded. Many even include obvious reasons as to why the problems occured. Some things take longer than overnight. We are very happy to contribute a 5 star rating for this company.

Excellent company with extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff especially Ryan and Zak. The platform is very user friendly and any issues are quickly sorted out. Transact make financial decisions that little bit easier.
