Unwins Opiniones 

I paid a high price for Elephant garlic for Spring planting from Unwins. I had been warned by other gardeners that their service was poor, products substandard and prices very inflated. However having looked at their website I chose to try Unwins out and give them the benefit of the doubt. When my garlic arrived (very expensive - over £11 for 4 singe cloves, not entire bulbs, including postage!!) a few days later they were a rotten mulch in the pack. Given the time-frame between ordering and arrival, about a week, it is impossible that the products were packed in good condition. The bulbs were clearly in poor condition before/on packing. However Unwins tried to sell off inferior quality goods, to try it on, with a customer. Having complained I some days later received a refund from Unwins but I would have preferred to have been told at the point of ordering that they were not able to supply so I could have purchased from another more reputable online retailer. Now they don't have any Elephant garlic and because of the timing neither does anyone else. I am appalled by the approach and disgusting level of customer service from Unwins - I will never use them again and will in future heed the advice of many others who warned me in advance. Please take my advice and do not buy anything from Unwins, you will be disappointed.

I've used Unwins before. This time they sent the seeds and chrysanthemum plants very quickly. The plants were a little weaker than I'd have liked, but not bad. No cultivation instructions which would have been helpful for a beginner.
