Bad Workmanship

I purchased VEIKOUS 6 ft. 3D Post Light Outdoor Christmas Holiday Yard Decoration Cool White LED and VEIKOUS4.5 ft. 3D Reindeer Family Outdoor Christmas Holiday Yard Decoration Cool White LED through Home Depot to Decorate my front yard. Now,as you can tell it says Yard Decoration. Well, after care inspection of the electrical connections on both products they are not weatherproof. Small Electronics connectors that connect the LED lights to each other are not weatherproof. They connectors that you’ll find in enclosed Electrical components. There are no weather sealing on these Connectors to keep the environment out. However, luckily for me I also purchased a 2 year warranty with Allstate through Home Depot. So, if these two Yard Decorations doesn’t work because of bad workmanship l am covered. Lastly, if you do decide to purchase one of these yard Decors please make sure you purchase a warranty with them.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! My wife and I bought this shed approximately one year ago. We live in sunny Southern California. Once it was built, we painted it with TWO coats of Home Depots "BEST" outdoor paint. Honestly, within ONE YEAR the chip wood is starting to lift and PEEL OFF!!! (I want to show this with pictures for you but, I am not having any success doing so). I am now having to buy vinyl siding sheets and install the sheets over the existing wood to hopefully stop the decomposing of the wood!!! I contacted the mfg. and they told me that my one-year warranty had expired and that there is nothing they can do!!! Come to find out, the product is made in China.

Our wood sheds are designed for typical outdoor residential use, and like most engineered wood products, long-term exposure to intense sunlight and moisture can still cause wear over time, even when exterior paint is applied. That said, we understand how disappointing this is, particularly when you expected longer-lasting performance.
Regarding the warranty, our policy covers manufacturing defects within the stated period, and we regret that your issue occurred outside that timeframe. Beware – Defective Product & Terrible Customer Service

I purchased this Veikous Gazebo on September 22, and it was delivered on September 29. Upon opening the box, one of the main structural pieces (the A Column) was bent and damaged, making the gazebo unsafe to assemble.

I immediately contacted the manufacturer, sent detailed photos (which I’ve included here), and was told a replacement part would be shipped. Nearly two weeks later, I’ve received no replacement, no tracking, and no real updates—just repeated delays and poor communication.

This has been an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I’m now returning the entire gazebo and losing the sale price I originally paid.

Buyers beware: do not purchase from Veikous. Their customer service is unresponsive and they do not stand behind their products. Save yourself the hassle and choose another brand.

After you contacted us and provided photos, we confirmed a replacement A column and initiated the process with our manufacturing partner. Replacement structural parts are prepared and shipped separately, which can unfortunately take longer than standard parcel shipments. Once the replacement was ready, we also shared the outbound shipment information with you.

If I could give this company 0 stars I…

If I could give this company 0 stars I absolutely would. I bought an outdoor swing not even 6 months ago and it is already falling apart!! This swing was about $150 and they thought a $20 refund would be understanding?! BULLSHIT. Save your time and money because their stuff is built CHEAP. Their customer service is AWFUL!

Edit to add: sent an email and customer service told me no on a refund again, since it was past the warranty( of course bc I posted this last fall and they just responded on here a few days ago ). Look at all of these AWFUL reviews! There are more bad than good. This is an awful company. STEER FAR AWAY! Customer service is also a joke, thanks for no help Tracy.

This company is awful

This company is awful. I asked a simple question to their customer service about one of the few products they advertise. The customer service representative then asked ME to provide the details on THEIR product. I then had to wait for the rep to look it up and they apparently had no information on it. I then got upset and asked how they couldn't have the information on their own product and the representative to me they contacted the manufacturer and couldn't get the information from them either. I only asked what temperatures and if their greenhouse could withstand snow. These, to me at least, seem like questions you should have the answer to if you're selling a small outdoor building. Will never recommend to anyone.

Terrible

Terrible! Poor quality, terrible customer service, inferior product, false description, cheap materials, NO refund policy like they state, belongs in a dumpster where mine is going after legalities. In the days it started rusting.

Gazebo Screen Tieback Nightmare. Horrible Design Flaw

We ordered a 14x12 Veikous gazebo from Home Depot. It went up okay with 4 guys and about 5 hours of work. The construction is okay but not superior by any means. That is until we came to the screens. The solid shades went up fine but the tiebacks for those and the screens are sewn to the screen material with no idea or instructions how they work. The Velcro gets stuck on the screen and snags and rips it and nothing makes sense. We searched for solutions with no avail. I emailed customer service and received an email wanting to know the shipper and model number at 1:40am so I assume we are dealing with a company who knows where. I called their customer service and was only able to leave a message. Save your money and put it towards another company.

Save your time and money

Save your time and money. They ship by FedEx ground which basically uses independent contractors for legs of the delivery. It could take weeks for your package to arrive. It never tracks and trying to locate it is like trying to find Jimmy Hoffa. Their "customer service" is useless and denies any ability to help you. I gave them order number, tracking number, address, email and thy still said they could not look it up. Be forewarned, they look OK but you have been alerted.

First the good. The panels are sturdy and the connectors for the panels work well. That being said, DO NOT BUY THIS COOP.

They tout the security, strength and longevity of their metal roof as superior to a tarp or canvas cover. That would be true if the metal roof panels were able to be attached to the support rods. The square support rods attach to a middle rod making a very stable cage/coop structure. The panels supplied each have 12 pre-drilled oval holes (3 rows of 4). Unfortunately there are no holes in the support rods. Furthermore, neither of the two 'tools' provided can be used on the supposed fasteners for the roof panels.

I contacted the company for assistance citing the above issue.

Three days later I received a response asking about the support rods.

I replied with the part numbers.

Another day passed before their response ...

Their response explained how to attach all the support rods to the ends of the coop frame. This was not the issue. I tried again reiterating the supports were fine the issue was the impossibility of attaching the panels to the support rods.

Another day later their response was for us to use a drill to drive the fasteners into the very substantial support rods. The fasteners do not have a screw type top. Even if they did, the fasteners would not be able to make a hole of any size in the support rod.

While their website has many computer generated cartoon type assembly videos, not one of this coop with the metal roof. There is a shed with the same panels but that one has an entirely different support structure.

Nowhere in the assembly 'instructions' is it indicated any type of power tool is necessary for assembly. Every step in the assembly has both an overall image/diagram and a close up very detailed one of exactly how to do the step EXCEPT Steps 7 and 8 for attaching the roof panels. One these two pages, only the overall image/diagram of the roof with all of the fasteners poised above the panel. No close up showing detailed images of the connection. I think their response was just their way of saying tough you figure out a way to work around our design mistakes.

It appears they thought they could just send the roof designed for a shed and it would somehow magically work with their large dog kennel and market it as a secure chicken coop. For $700 I expect all the pieces to work together properly.

Save yourself money, hassle and frustration and skip this "coop" as it is not fit for purpose. Fraudulent marketing!

Two broken boards in box for Grill…

Two broken boards in box for Grill Gazebo. "TRACY" in customer service keeps emailing responses to my complaint with no answers or a potential ship date for the broken pieces. The worst company. By the way I bought this Grill Gazebo through Walmart. I am filing a complaint on credit card tomorrow

I only got one of two boxes for a shed…

I only got one of two boxes for a shed that I bought through Home Depot.
HD and Veikous keep pointing at each other and it has been over 6 months.
Veikous Customer “service” is the worst I have experienced ever. They, Tracy, keeps stalling and requesting irrelevant information or information I obviously do not have. Made in the USA should not be used by the company, not because it’s not made here. I’m a veteran and literally risked my life for the USA, using the sentence is an insult to me and other veterans and companies who try to do the right thing.
Shame on you
