Ordered a pair of Evolv Phantom climbing shoes, the new model when they just hit the market in October 2025. Great shoes but they developed two factory errors: toe patch let loose after a few climbing sessions and the velcro let loose from the other shoe a few sessions later. Applied for a new pair. Initially vertical extreme was responsive but the reactions quickly slowed down - after several months they sent me the conclusion that they need me to send the shoes back to them and that they'll send them to Evolv. We are now two months further - almost half a year since the initial request. Shoes are gone and after four reminders Vertical Extreme are not replying to emails anymore. Bit of a shame.

I posted this review on Google reviews mid-May 2026. The day that I posted it VerticalExtreme broke radio silence and offered me a refund. A credit note was issued, but now 6 weeks later no funds have been transferred. Again, no responses from VerticalExtreme when reminded to follow up on this. I decided to check my original review on Google Reviews to add this information and saw that on May 23rd they ordered Google to remove my review which I currently am fighting. Currently, I still have no refund although it was promised, and it also seems that VerticalExtreme tries to censure people out of sharing their bad experiences with them. Would not buy again and would strongly advise against buying from them.

Disappointed. No refund for over a month.

I ordered an item (Order #682869) on March 30th and officially returned it on April 16th. According to tracking, the shop received the return on April 18th.
Since my previous bank account was closed, I provided my new IBAN in advance. Customer service promised that the accounting department would contact me, but after that, they went completely silent. No replies to my emails, no refund.
The 14-day legal refund period has long expired. I had to file an official complaint via Trusted Shops. Very poor customer communication.

Edit: was able to get in contact by phone and was received by a helpful gentleman who have now made sure to solve this situation.

I bought a shoe, then realised I ordered it a number too big, so I cancelled the order through mail, which I received a positive response to.
Money had already been withdrawn from my bank account and after countless of emails asking for when the refund will be transferred back, I never hear anything in return. It’s very disappointing, and bad service!! Now it’s counting close to two weeks without any response or clarification.

günstiger Preis, schnell und zuverlässig. Bike und Bergsport ist genau mein Ding, deshalb passt das Sortiment für mich sehr gut.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Ich habe eine Ware zu dem im Shop angegebenen Preis bestellt und auch eine Auftragsbestätigung erhalten. Im Nachhinein wurde mir dann mitgeteilt, dass der Preis „fehlerhaft“ gewesen sei und der Kaufvertrag nachträglich angefochten wird.

Für mich als Kunde ist es schwer nachvollziehbar, warum ich mich auf die Angaben im Shop nicht verlassen kann. Fehler können passieren, aber eine nachträgliche Anfechtung wirkt unprofessionell und wenig kundenorientiert.

Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass Zeit verloren geht und man sich erneut um die Beschaffung kümmern muss – oft zu einem deutlich höheren Preis.

Ich hätte mir hier zumindest eine kulante Lösung oder ein Entgegenkommen gewünscht.

Insgesamt leider kein gutes Kauferlebnis.

Wirbt mit niedrigen Preisen und storniert dann die Bestellungen.
