Fantastic upgrade — warm, quiet, and lets in so much light!

Recently replaced my old, draughty wooden front door with a new white uPVC door from "We Do Doors", and the difference is night and day. I opted for a model with an arched glass panel set into the door as well as a top-light window frame above,
It lets a wonderful amount of natural light into the hallway while still looking smart and secure. The Stippolyte backing glass gives great privacy while keeping everything bright. The gold handles, letterbox, and knocker really pop against the white finish! The improvement in sound insulation and thermal quality was immediate. The hallway is noticeably warmer without the constant draughts, and closing the door produces a solid, quiet seal rather than the loud slam of my previous wooden frame.The entire fully fitted service was seamless from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend "We Do Doors" to anyone looking for a quality replacement!
The Team and the Fitter where also fantastic.

We can't find fault from the first telephone conversation to work out our requirements to the fitting of the door.
We changed our minds completely about the style of our door following the first conversation but this was not a problem, the design was changed and then a picture sent to us; we sent them a picture of our existing door and could then see what the new one would look like in situ.
Once ordered we were kept informed of progress of the construction which was completed within the time frame originally advised.
The fitter contacted us to arrange a mutually convenient date. He arrived punctually, took care of our property and cleaned up thoroughly during the fitting and when he had finished. The fitting took a bit longer than anticipated as it's an old house but he did an excellent job.

UPDATE
UPDATE – Three days later and still waiting for a working lock
Three days have now passed since my original review, and unfortunately the situation has gone from frustrating to almost unbelievable.
To be fair, the manager dealing with this has been very helpful, polite and reassuring. I can see that they are trying to get things sorted and have been following up regularly. In fact, they seem to be calling every 30 minutes at the moment trying to check the status and fix the latest mistake.
The problem is, there just seem to be mistake after mistake.
The lock that was supposedly going to arrive on Monday still hasn't arrived. Two locks have actually been delivered since the start of the week — the first was the wrong lock and the second was damaged. So here we are at the end of the week, and we're still waiting for the correct lock.
The damaged lock is now sitting in our hallway because it's too long to store anywhere else, and unfortunately my wife and daughter have already hurt themselves tripping over it.
I've also had to take a day off work to get this sorted. I was promised that the fitter would arrive at 9:30am today. 9:30 came and went, with no fitter and no update. Eventually we were told the fitter was stuck at another job and would attend later.
So once again, we're left waiting.
At this stage, I honestly don't know what the chances are of this actually being fixed properly.
We've had the wrong lock, a damaged lock, delays, missed appointments and constant chasing. What should have been a straightforward replacement has turned into weeks of stress and disruption for my family.
I've tried to be patient, and I do genuinely appreciate the manager's efforts and communication. But unfortunately, good communication can't make up for the fact that the problem still isn't fixed.
At this point, I'm past wanting another temporary fix. I just want this door taken out and replaced with one that actually works.
We bought a new front door for security and peace of mind. Instead, it's become a daily source of worry, inconvenience and frustration.
Let's see what happens today.

First of all, we are happy that the reported issue is fixed. Initially by an emergency visit to ensure you had a working door, and followed by a replacement part to ensure you do not experience the issue again.
We fully appreciate your frustration, but we would like to clarify some important points in your review.
Firstly, you have not been left without a working lock. As explained in our response to your previous review, we arranged for an emergency locksmith to attend and ensure the lock was operational. You confirmed that the lock was working following this visit, and it has remained operational while the replacement part has been arranged.
Secondly, the incorrect replacement part was not sent by our company. The part delivered to you was directly from the lock manufacturer. Once it was identified as the incorrect part, we immediately took action to ensure the correct part was delivered promptly. We have also apologised profusely for this, and kept you up to date on our actions.
We have done everything reasonably within our power to resolve this as quickly as possible. Senior members from both our team and our manufacturer have been directly involved, we have maintained regular communication with you, arranged an emergency locksmith when required, and even arranged for a taxi to deliver the replacement part directly to you.
We would also like to clarify the suggestion that there was no update when the installer was delayed. Approximately an hour before he was due arrive, we were informed he was slightly delayed. We immediately contacted you to advise this, and check this would be ok. Unfortunately, you expressed your frustration towards our team member using inappropriate language and ended the call.
You subsequently requested to speak with a manager, and were called promptly, however the call was not answered or returned by you. We would have welcomed the opportunity to speak with you directly, but your new review was posted shortly after.
At the time your review was posted, our installer was at your property carrying out the replacement.
We appreciate your comments about the manager dealing with your order, and the efforts our team have gone to to keep you updated.
We are sorry that, despite the considerable efforts made by our team, the overall experience has caused you and your family frustration. We hope that now that the issue is resolved, you will be able to enjoy the security and peace of mind you can expect from your new door.

Brilliant new door.
From start to finish we were kept informed as to the progress of the door. We were aware that it would take some weeks to do which was fine for us. The 2 men that fitted it were on time polite & knew exactly what they were doing they cleared up after themselves & left our house spotless inside & out. Very pleased with the result.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Kerry was so friendly and helpful and spent such a long time with me making sure everything was exactly as I wanted it before ordering.
