We Buy Tek was recommended to me by my daughter after I had a dreadful experience with another company offering way less than quoted price & trying to haggle. My daughter had such a smooth seamless process with We Buy Tek & I have received the same service. My iPhone arrived with them Friday & the price quoted on screen was the price paid which was automatically paid into my account the very same day! No haggling, no hassle just straight forward process.
I was recommended & now I have recommended to family too. Not worth shopping around or selling privately, sell to these guys who keep the process simple & are true to their word.

Use alternative trade-in sites instead
I used WeBuyTek to trade in a broken iPhone 11 and initially received a quote of £67 under their faulty category. After sending the phone in, the offer was revised down to £30 due to “Digitizer, Glass Condition, Unable to refurbish LCD”.
What disappointed me was that the original quoted criteria already stated that cracked screens and heavy cosmetic wear were acceptable for faulty devices, so the revaluation felt inconsistent with the original assessment.
I also found the process frustrating because there didn’t appear to be any meaningful way to challenge or discuss the revised valuation. The only alternatives were to accept the reduced offer or pay a £10 fee to have the device returned.
Based on this experience, I would personally use other trade-in services in future, as I have found them to be fairer and more transparent when assessing devices against their quoted grading criteria.

Good customer service
I initially left a bad review due to a confusion over my quote, but I will say the customer service at webuytek is really good and human led. I had quick responses over email and my issue was resolved really quickly and reasonably. Thank you to the team.
I’d recommend the service. Just be aware to read all the guidelines before you assume you’ve picked the right price and your device meets all the criteria. If something seems wrong with your quote check in with customer service directly.
