We came in Jan 25 to order our new vehicle a
Mineral Blue Sorento Jed Powell our sales executive
talked us through all the options available and answered all our questions.
Despite delays due to in unforseen circumstances beyond anyones control we were kept updated on
any changes.
The vehicle arrived and all efforts were made to have a speedy turnaround to enable us to use it for our pre-booked holiday.
Many thanks must go to Jed for his professionalism, his extensive knowledge of the Kia vehicle range and his
courteous reassuring manner in dealing with us throughout the process. He is a credit to Wessex Garages.
The Sorento is everything and more than we expected, well worth waiting for. Thank you to all involved.

For over two years we have been trying to get Wessex to fix a faulty infotainment system in our Mitsubishi Outlander. Wessex agree it is a known fault that should be fixed under warranty but for two years we have been told that parts are on order, appointments will be made, but it never happens. My partner and I have chased consistently, even visiting in person, but we keep getting the same story. Over two years later we are having to escalate through ombudsman and consider the county court.

I would like to say a massive thank you, to Melanie Ambrose for the wonderful customer service we received at the Hadfield Road showroom, when choosing our new car. Mel was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She made buying a car hassle free from start to finish. Our sincere thanks for first class customer service.

The staff were friendly, informative and not at all pushy.

What can I say I decided to go for my next mobility car the Nissan juke the sales rep who’s name is curtis Tomlinson made me feel welcome and at ease during the sale of my next mobility car he kept me up to date with everything always got back to me if he was with other customersI such a lovely man I would recommend to any one to pop into there show room in Newport and speak to curtis Tomlinson I want to say a massive thank you for your service from Clare Holland

The Newport showroom is fab. My salesman Jed was very polite and professional and dealt with an onslaught of questions in my pursuit of buying a Kia Ceed. I was dealt with efficiently and can’t fault the service at all. Was offered a full car inspection more than once and a decent test drive and I’m confident that my sales rep will go over everything with me again on day of pickup. Bought a Kia from Wessex Gloucester in June 2024. At time of sale we were promised some car accessories as an incentive. Despite chasing several times, these have never materialised 8 months later. More importantly it’s virtually impossible to contact anyone as they are never available and the promised return call backs are a way to fob you off. Kia may offer you a seven year warranty but what good is that? Have been extremely disappointed with the after service by Wessex. Despite their recorded message emphasising how much they value customer service, it’s just empty words. One of the worst customer service providers I’ve come across. Be ware.

I’m not easily impressed, but I have to say that Wessex Kia Newport has truly exceeded my expectations. This is largely thanks to the exceptional service from Jed Powell, who has been outstanding from start to finish.

From our first conversation to the moment I picked up my new Kia EV6, Jed has been professional, attentive, and incredibly supportive. He kept me informed every step of the way, ensured I got a fantastic deal, and made the entire process seamless. His dedication made me feel genuinely valued as a customer.

Claire was the person who helped with my car- MOT and service at Kia Bristol. Honestly in all 14 years living in the UK she provided the best, the most interesting and nice service I have ever experience. She helped with everything what I requested about the car, she was very nice professional smile and laugh too. I can not recommend Claire enough. Excellent service from start to finish. Sam and Aaron were really helpful listened to our needs and provided sound advice enabling us to make an informed decision regarding our new Qashqai specification etc. Highly recommend them.

First time I brought my car in to have a window screen wiper motor replaced, they booked it in and when I arrived the part wasn’t in and nobody bothered to let me know !
Second time, they booked it in for a 14.00pm slot and the car sat in the car park for 1 1/2 hours before even going in… they then said it will be done within 30 minutes.. what a joke, still sitting waiting another 40 minutes for it to be finished. Customer service guy just shrugged his shoulders and said “ what do you want me to do “? Absolutely disgusting customer service. Never ever again will I buy a Nissan through this dealer. !

I found my perfect car on KIA used website and it was held here at Wessex Garages. We were driving all the way from Shrewsbury to Cardiff on a Saturday so all the documentation had to be lined up in advance and on short notice, but Andrew, the agent, had it all under control.

Went to Nissan Gloucester to test drive a Nissan Ariya, I was Very impressed with how tidy and clean the showroom looked, Was greeted by the first person that see me walk into the showroom, very pleasant and polite. Our appointment was for 10.00 o,clock, and right on time Scott was the young gentleman that we come to see. Very polite and most helpful nothing was to much trouble, he answered any questions I had. My wife and I were both very happy with the way we were treated. We did not feel like we were being rushed or pushed along.Very happy with the experience. So thank you all very much. Purchased new vehicle collected it 31st January very very happy Customer.

I bought a Nissan and from the day before I was due to pick it up I received disorganised service, extremely poor communication, work not completed on the car before collecting it, being delayed picking the car up, car being left unlocked on forecourt.
I have had nothing but hassle having to organise work that should have been done before I even drove the car off the garage forecourt.
Staff not returning my e mails and still haven’t replied sales staff and management. They are clearly just ignoring my complaints now!
Staff lying to me to cover up not being experienced and not telling me important information as they were rushing off!
I have never received such poor customer service as I have from this garage.
I am appalled that this kind of service is allowed to happen.

Experience was was very pleasant. Harry was a lovely lad, not pushy, provided all the necessary Information on the cars that had my specific requirements and within my budget. Very accommodating and professional. I'm very happy with my purchase and the whole experience of buying a new car.

A really good customer experience, nothing is too much trouble.

Bought a one year old Kia Sportage from Newport between Christmas and New Year. The Car is good but if you do buy from them make sure you check everything is ok first. I made the move from Audi to Kia based on recommendations from colleagues. Wish I hadn't. They may have a lovely shiny showroom but still the same old backstreet rip off car dealer mentality... Firstly check that the finance options offered are right for you as they only offer Kia Finance as there is a massive bonus in it for the dealership. I didn't do my usual checks as I trusted them to be a reputable "Main Dealer" The tyres will all need to be changed very soon. Bearing in mind I just bought a 32k vehicle and will have to spend another £600. Fuel tank was almost empty. Spoke to the sales manager who just quoted me their minimum standards for used cars and called me Sir. Complained to the dealership via email and got no reply. I escalated it to Head Office with the threat of the Financial Ombudsman. I got a call almost immediately and spoke to their Finance Manager. I was offered 1 tyre as a gesture of goodwill, I asked for the front two but it was a "jog on Sir" I'm escalating the confusing and prejudiced leaning to the financial side of this this to the Ombudsman as I believe that this company needs a shake up. I was unable to see all the details of my agreement until it arrived in the post. I really can't see any reason to buy from Wessex. Just do the basic checks and make sure the servicing is up to date first and save yourself thousands....
