Another great service with West Yorkshire Windows
The team was incredibly helpful and efficient in dealing with my query. They kept me well-informed throughout the process and arranged for my window to be sorted promptly. I appreciated their attention to detail, especially how considerate they were when carrying out the work, making sure to protect the carpet while walking through the house. I’ve had several windows fitted in the past, and each time I’ve been completely satisfied with the quality of the work. Simply the best service
I have always had a positive outcome with any issues I have had with WYW. Richard (one of their representatives) came to my home recently to look at a small concern I had, he was professional, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. He even asked if all the other products I had purchased from WYW were ok as he was happy to look at them whilst he was there. What great service, Richard is a credit to the company

Conservatory doors
The recently installed conservatory door was difficult to open, Richard came and made an adjustment to the Heel/toe spacers and problem solved. He gave ample warning of when he would come, arrived spot on time, very friendly and professional.

West Yorks windows installed a new conservatory and replacement window frames a couple of years ago for us and everything from start to finish was first class.Just recently we had a minor problem and phoned West Yorks windows the day after the problem was sorted. I have no hesitation in recommending West Yorks windows to anyone and everyone.

Had no issues with conservatory for 8 years, then roof sprung a leak. Richard and Neil came out, sorted within an hour of their arrival. Great job.

Great
From start to finish it was incredibly easy to sort out appointments and organise fittings. All the people who we met and spoke to were polite and friendly. The designer was quick with ideas (and very kindly put up with our toddler who wanted to help him). The fitting was efficient and looked great. And the aftercare has been spot on. Would definitely recommend West Yorkshire Windows!

My Life was put at risk alongside so much more
They installed a bedroom window and then told me it wouldn't open due to a manufacturer fault and would need to order a new one. I asked how I would escape if there was a fire the installer replied "Good question and laughed. I asked if the glass could be broken and was told no. When i said i said i didn't find this funny, the installer walked off and left for the day. Upon calling the office, I explained how i didn't feel safe as I have a family member with burns due to fire and said I wanted my old window putting back until a new one could be sourced. I was told I would be called back, im still waiting for that phone call. The window was replaced 5 days later after I had to chase 3 times for updates. It took Customer Service a month to respond to my complaint (After chasing several times) only to be told my the Head of Custoemr Services that my life was never at risk, it was a mis-communication as the glass can be broken and it was my responsibility to phone the office to check the glass could be broken should there be a fire (despite me speaking to their office team and clearly stating I felt like my life was being put at risk as they had left me with no way to get pout of my bedroom if their was a fire). Appalling customer service and even worse customer experience
Following WYW response - West Yorkshire Windows have yet again failed to miss the point. I was told by their employee that I could not smash the glass therefore making me feel I was left in danger
My original window that opened, despite the size, would have allowed me to scream for help should there have been a fire.
I have also been told that I should have asked the office staff if I could break the glass. Again, failing to miss the point that I called the office twice to raise my concerns of safety and on both occasions stated I had been told the glass wasn’t breakable.

Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in replacing the window sash to ensure it could be properly operated and opened.
We would like to clarify that while we regret any distress this may have caused, the claim that the company put your life at risk is not accurate. The original window was fixed and non-openable, meaning there was no change to your circumstances during this period. Additionally, the glass in the window was toughened, as it was before, and could have been broken if necessary in an emergency situation, as you had indicated you would have done with the previous window.
The replacement window sash was installed within five days, allowing for proper operation. Regarding your original window, the company follows a daily recycling process for all removed PVC and glass, and therefore, reinstating the original window was not an option.
We appreciate your feedback and regret any inconvenience caused.

Had an appointment today with a salesman called Jason for a free no obligation quotation for a new conservatory. Was really excited to see the designs we knew we needed it to be 3m x 4m but other than that we were open to ideas. He was with us for less than 20 mins and told us we were looking at 45K and up. We didn’t view any samples, didn’t chose anything or have anything talked through although he did say he had to drive back to Wakefield to get home and as our appointment was at 6pm he was on a late one. My next door neighbour used wyw for their new conservatory just last year -same size - they paid 24k and highly recommended them. We were so disappointed never mind I guess Jason just couldn’t be bothered

Finally made the plunge to replace all windows and doors, chose west yorkshire windows not because of the price but because they are local and make the windows here in wakefield, fantastic experiance from start to finish the installers we had were brilliant, polite friendly and experienced, great set of lads and a very large grateful thank you to them and everyone else involved, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant thank you.

An efficient and speedy repair
We were having difficulty with the lock on the front door. Contact was made with WYW as the door is still under warranty. The lock obviously needed a new mechanism and an appointment was made for the lock to be repaired. It was fitted very quickly and the door now opens and closes beautifully smoothly.
