The amplifier that I bought was…Cambridge CXA 61
The amplifier that I bought was indistinguishable from new! It came in original packing with accessories and arrived promptly.
Most importantly the price was very competitive and saved me a few hundred pounds - yes I did say hundreds!! In fact it worked out cheaper than EBay.
I was very satisfied and would strongly recommend WhyBuyNew.

Professionalism
The new item received had slight damage emailed with photos and a brief description.. next day a nice phonecall to work out the next course of action which was to replace or a discount... wouldve been 5star purchased item with these guys before never had an issue

Quality dept could do better.
I recently bought a pair of vintage HiFi speakers. Description was "Grilles glued on" So drive units could not be seen, but are fully working?. Got them tried them out and there was a buzzing noise? With a thin bladed knife, Grilles come off very easily. Not glued at all? Found the reason for the buzzing was a 3" split down the bass driver! I could have made a drama but as they are a rare model that I wanted and luckily had a correct spare driver I didn't, otherwise they would have gone straight back! So giving a fair warning to other buyers via this review.

Our part exchange team work very hard to ensure that listings are reported accurately on used goods and I am sorry that in this instance we have not lived up to our high expectation. I will of course investigate what has happened on this occasion to reduce any chance of this happening again.
In regards to the fault our part exchange goods do come with a warranty so we certainly would not have thought you were making a drama if you had of logged the issue with us. We would always aim to assist to provide maximum customer satisfaction where possible and I am sorry that this transaction has not resulted in our usual high level of service

I am really sorry you are having issues with the courier and that you have not yet received your item. Unfortunately we were not made aware of the delay you have experienced as you were kindly dealing with the courier directly. I hope my call this morning was assuring that should you have any courier issues we are happy to chase them for you and get them dealt with as a matter of urgency by calling 01206 855010. As per our conversation I have contacted DHL on your behalf and have been advised they will attempt delivery tomorrow.
