My new bathroom is just perfect. From the initial plan in store with Mark Hewitt at Aintree, to the removal and installation done by A W Joinery, I couldn't be happier. All went so smoothly. Adam Walton prepping and installing was so professional, reliable and skilled, his workmanship is second to none.
If you are looking for lasting quality, and a beautiful finish, I highly recommend!

From the initial discussions on the layout for our proposed bathroom fit out, through the various options considered, which resulted in the final agreed and signed off design- the professionalism and knowledge of Steve Ambler - Design Consultant based at the Wickes Store at Aintree was exceptional.
His knowledge of the CAD Design to amend and propose viable options and his knowledge of, and the functionality of, the Goods available, made the layout functional, practical and pleasing to the eye !
Coupled with an initial site visit to discuss the possible layout to a final as built” installation / inspection. His actions added in part to the success of the overall installation

Our new bathroom is beautiful. Steve Ambler from Wickes Aintree, was a great help both in advice for design and execution. He was great for further support and kept in touch through the project. The transaction was completely painless. His allocated fitters were nothing short of miracle workers and problem solvers, and there MANY problems to solve! They were nothing but pleasant and no trouble to have working in the property.

The visit to Aintree Wickes went really well. Steve Ambler was great, listening to our requirements and making appropriate suggestions. The home visit was arranged quickly and Steve kept to the agreed time. On our final visit to the store Steve had the plans which we agreed.
Sean Molyneux was the fitter, with Jamie his assistant. They arrived at an agreed time every day, kept us informed about each stage and kept the room clean. Sean managed all the project and the whole process was great. The end result was a job well done and a kitchen we are delighted with. Thanks to all the team.

This is my second review regarding the excellent service that we have received from Mark Hewitt at Wickes in Aintree, from start to finish he has been approachable, offered great advice, and we always felt he would answer any questions we had.
We would definitely recommend him, he knows what he is talking about and will guide you step by step to a brand new bathroom
We also are in the process of having the downstairs toilet done, we chose Vermont units and we are really pleased with the quality and appearance of them.

Purchased a bathroom including installation from Wickes, they advertise a trusted installer service but my experience was the total opposite of this, I have experienced leaks into my kitchen underneath, shoddy workmanship and poor communication. I have damage to my kitchen as a result. I have experienced poor service from the customer experience centre and having submitted a complaint to both the CEO and customer relations team I have heard nothing , despite the company saying they will respond within 48 hours. I wouldn’t recommend this company, the cost was expensive but the quality of service is well below what any reasonable person could expect. I will incur additional costs to repair the damage to my kitchen .

I have received an enquiry from wickes about my concerns but I think this is a stock response for this site , I have responded to their request but still nothing , don’t trust this company

Mark from Aintree was very friendly and professional. His design was excellent and everything fitted exactly as it should. Was not looking forward to putting it together, but was very impressed in the quality and how easy it was . My units are square and straight , unlike some prebuilt from other companies.
The finished kitchen looks incredible, better even than expected.!! Also considerably cheaper than other overpriced, but with cut price dishwasher or hot tap companies.
If you need a kitchen ask for Mark your in safe hands .

I shopped at wickes today it was their Aintree store the assistant who helped me went the extra mile to help me he even carried my goods to my car a very pleasant experience shopping there due to the brilliant service i received unfortunately I didn’t get the man’s name I but he was a credit to your company

Had a fantastic experience from designer Yousef at the Aintree branch. He helped us create the perfect Kitchen and managed the journey from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Purchased a new kitchen from Wickes, Aintree Liverpool.A great variety of units, worktops,tiles and kitchen accessories. Steve Ambler, Design Consultant was so helpful and obliging throughout the installation.
His kitchen design was impeccable, down to the last detail . The fitter Michael was equally excellent, ensuring every piece of unit fit perfectly and appliance tested and working.
My kitchen is amazing.
The 2year quarantee is reassuring and financial arrangements very convenient.

Wickes Liverpool are quite possibly the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. Incompetence on an entirely different level.

Ordered a kitchen with a delivery date of mid-February 2025. Went to view the property which I do not yet own and two random doors were left in the porch (weeks before my delivery date), upon inspection they were both completely snapped in half. Wickes re-ordered the two doors, both of which were delivered weeks early again and both of which were also snapped/damaged beyond use.

I went to view the property again (which I still do not yet own) and a random kitchen unit was left on the porch. I opened it and yet again it was damaged beyond use.

Weeks of phone calls and emails from myself resulted in no clarity. No one seemed willing to actually fix the order & delivery issues. Zero accountability.

Still now to this day I am getting texts/emails from Wickes indicating a delivery will be attempted.

I cancelled and refunded my order and went to Wren.

Avoid at all costs.

We recently purchased a kitchen from Wickes Aintree, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Steve, the design consultant, was absolutely amazing. He made the entire process so simple and stress-free, offering helpful advice and guidance every step of the way. Steve is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also super friendly, which made working with him a pleasure.

As property renovators, we buy around five kitchens a year, and we consistently choose Wickes for their unbeatable combination of price and quality. This time, we went for the Chester kitchen range in forest green, and we absolutely love it. The style, finish, and durability are top-notch – it has exceeded our expectations yet again.

We can’t recommend Wickes enough for anyone looking for a stunning, high-quality kitchen at a competitive price. Big thanks to Steve and the team for another smooth and successful project.

My kitchen was fitted by Wickes Aintree in the week beginning 18/11/2024. They did an amazing job. My first contact was with Steve Ambler, the Design Consultant at Wickes. He was so helpful and made some handy recommendations. The installation was carried out by Kevin Bingham and Jack Kelic. They worked hard all week clearing up as they went and again helping with those last minute decisions which always crop up. They had able assistance from Paul, who did the plastering- a great job- and Kristoff who sorted the electrics.
My thanks and congratulations to all involved. I have a really great kitchen. All I have to do now is decorate,

We we’re looking for a new kitchen didn't honestly think of Wicks but as we passed the one in Aintree we popped in to have look we are so glad we did Andrea who we spoke to initially was really helpful but we didn't have the correct measurement so we returned to the store Andrea was on leave so gentleman named Steve Ambler looked after us he was amazing he designed our kitchen perfectly nothing was too much trouble for him (wished you done 10 stars as he deserved this ) we had lots of questions which he answered so professionally, he certainly knows his job he also made suggestion we never thought about adding little extras which made a big difference, he is also coming out on Wednesday to check our measurement which gives me peace of mind he made our experience stress free and enjoyable thank you so much Steve

It’s hard to know how to start to begin such an incredible experience and if we could double the 5 stars to 10 that could be a good starting point. From the moment we walked into lour local Wickes store and chatted with a very welcoming and reassuring Craig onto our very clever kitchen planner Mark (and another planner who helped us whilst Mark was on leave) who listened and suggested stuff making a dream very real and even more exciting than my son could have imagined through to saying goodbye to his amazing kitchen installers on Saturday the process was made to look and feel without any pressure and easy - we know it wasn’t! There was a number of hurdles - including a sizeable one which couldn’t have been forecasted ( my son lives in a very old house with the usual issues of plaster degradation). All overcome without worry to us or intervention and within our timescales! The outcome is indescribably stunning - you all helped make a dream come true - and our journey has been such an unprecedented fabulous experience. Filled with professionalism, unimaginable knowledge, positivity and a complete passion to finish every single last centimetre of our kitchen with an attention to detail that has surpassed everything that has gone before. So Kevin, Jack & Krzysztof, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We know ours wasn’t an exclusive experience in respect of you delivering a very beautiful and exciting outcome - that’s just you - but please know from our perspective it was exclusive - pretty painless ( something we’ve not come to expect) and very very exciting. Your pride in your job is absolutely incredible and we are truly indebted to you.Thank you all Again !!!
