Great in store service

Chris the store manager was patient and went above and beyond to help us resolve a problem we were having with the Wickes customer service team by phone and helped us to get a replacement order. It’s a shame that the website / customer service team were so difficult to work with but we cannot fault Chris and his dedication - thank you Chris!

Pardon my username. This is a legitimate and serious review.

I had my kitchen and bathroom designed and installed by Wickes. Imran the designer was very helpful to discuss a lot of details. The shower parts ordered was out of stock and we found out late in the process. Imran helped me source from a direct supplier. 5 stars for the design service.

I was assigned two customer service people, one for the kitchen and the other for the bathroom. The person assigned to my bathroom order was made to take his accumulated annual leave and noone else was chosen to monitor in their absence. This led to not noticing early enough that the shower parts and bathroom tap weren't arriving by the installation start date. When called to ask, I disagree with the advice to wait a few days, when the order system should be checked and followed up with the supplier. It was stressful trying to get the last hardware on time and additional communication. Overall, the rest of the parts arrived in a very organised way. Given there's so many parts for two projects. It was very difficult to check if anything was missing.
4 stars for the parts orders, -1 for checking on parts that are ordered externally and not stocked in their warehouse.

Installation team Milena and Tsetsy have done the work to a high quality. A lot of communication during the build to confirm the design, highlight complications, advise on the bespoke work, and very clear on the price+material options. 5 stars for the installation team.

Price-wise, the discount on the itemised bill doesn't make sense at all. When I removed or add an item, it changes the post-discount price of the other items! The calculation needs to be clearly and absolutely explained. I work in Finance and am very confused how this should happen. Is it the VAT that's throwing the calculations off? Can Wickes please figure this out and explain. Only 3 stars for the item bill.

Quality of the products and subsequent installation are good. My installation was in Feb 2024 and now it is Sep 2024. No issues so far. 5 stars.

The details and review of each item on the website varies. There's a floating bathroom vanity which a user has complained that the drawer is not removable. I learnt from the installers how to remove it. So the review isn't accurate. Website search function could be better. 4 stars for website.

Overall, for the full package and teamwork, my experience with Wickes has been good and efficient. I started the design in December, we finished the build in under a month in February. What I pay for is not having to source and project manage everything myself so that I can carry on with my day job, and that's what I received, except for a few late delivered parts mentioned earlier.

You can expect 5 star service from this store! I spoke to a member of staff who redirected me to the desk and by the time I got there Peter already knew what I wanted and was ready to help. Peter was friendly and very knowledgeable. He helped me find my product and gave me some good advice too! Thank you Peter and the rest of the team! A top notch service.

We had our kitchen designed and installed through Wickes and are very happy with the results. Our design consultant Vik Bungsraz was very friendly, easy to work with and attentive. Our in house installation team was SAW & CO Ltd, lead by Atanas, which was so professional, respectful of the property and very hard working. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and wouldn't hesitate to use Wickes again.

Jing Wang has been fantastic to work with. She’s been patient, thorough and respectful of my budget. She’s gone above and beyond to help me; even speaking to my builder in Mandarin to ensure the measurements are correct! Her advice has been knowledgeable and invaluable. Will definitely be working with her again in the future.

Just wrapped up our kitchen reno with Jing and Marius, and wow, what a fantastic job! Jing nailed the design – understanding our vision perfectly and transforming it into a stylish, functional space. Marius was punctual, tidy, and super skilled, ensuring everything was built to perfection. Our kitchen looks amazing, and the floors feel solid.

They both kept us in the loop throughout the project, making everything stress-free. Can’t recommend them enough for anyone needing a reliable and talented team. Definitely hitting them up for our next project!
