These days we have choices - do we shop online or support our local retailers. Yesterday I decided to shop online when I am able. Instead of improving customer service Wickes has decided not to offer a timber cutting service so I will go elsewhere for my timber and building supplies.

Wickes Trade App - Thanks Shirl
Shirl was very helpful when I suddenly realised I had left my wallet at home as I went to the checkout, just as I was about to leave and put the things I wanted back, she reminded me that if I had the Wickes trade App on my phone properly set up then all I needed was that … and boom !… problem was solved… no wasted journey.

She came off the till and showed me exactly where I needed to be and was utterly helpful throughout!

Shirl was extremely helpful. I have been in twice now with questions about what I have bought as they were the wrong items and something that needed refunded and she was so helpful.

Went in for some engineering bricks
Went in for some engineering bricks, needed 100 they had 24 on the shelf, asked if they had anymore and they’d just had a delivery. Within minutes they were on the shop floor ready to stack them into my trolley, which Dale kindly did for me.
Amazing service. Well done Dale at Burgess Hill branch. Couldn’t fault
