Wickes - Cardiff Opiniones 

I went into the Cardiff Store looking for new kitchen tiles. I'm so useless with DIY being new to house renovation! The store manager showed me to the variety of tiles I could use and recommended what additional materials I would need for what type of tile I chose and I'm so happy with the ones I've chosen! I've actually come under budget too!

Thank you Cardiff Wickes! I'll be back for my future DIY materials once I get the hang of it! Again, thank you!

Would put zero stars after something I witnessed in store on Wednesday afternoon from a manager towards a cashier at your Newport Road store in Cardiff. I have sent an email to the customer care email address giving details but leaving a review here too. I feel disgusted that the cashier was treated so rudely for just doing their job. This isn't the way to go with treating staff who was visibly upset at this incident

Ive come into The shop for Help with My trolley and cameron has Helped me above and beyond. He was Amazing.

Second home design appointment no show this time at least the First time I got an email to let me know they couldn't be bothered to show up forget review products can't even get a design. So I called head office to complain to find out there is no one to complain to. After a length phone call with head office call the store back (Cardiff) and ask to speak with a manager this is the first time I spoke to anyone at wicks that actually cared she was amazing and managed to get me to rebook I was going to sack of wicks and go to B and q instead but she was so genuine I decided to give wicks another go. Hopefully this time I get a design appointment.

Unfortunately we’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this store. Agreed kitchen design features are missing from our kitchen due to computer issues, communication has been poor throughout, and we are still waiting for an agreed refund of over £500 since August. Despite repeated attempts, neither the store nor management, has responded to myself or Wickes Customer Services regarding any resolutions. This has been an incredibly stressful experience and the after care has been incredibly disappointing. We will never use Wickes again for any home improvements, and would not recommend to others.

Wayne Tyler-Grant was brilliant and has guided us through the process of designing a new bathroom. Very helpful and answered all of our questions. Made the process very straight-forward. Looking forward to seeing the final result!

Zoya was so helpful and she is an assess to the company. It was an amazing experience. She picked up all the items for me.

Our experience today was the polar opposite of what we had experienced in BandQ, Nicobond, Tile Mountain and others.
Every shop should have their own Anna.
Anna made the process easy, stress free and a pleasure to be shopping at Wickes.
Friendly, polite, knowledgeable and really helpful.

Wayne was fab. He made what could have been a stressful experience really enjoyable. He also made himself available for any questions we had. Would recommend going to Wickes and Wayne for a new kitchen. We had such a good experience that we have chosen to go with them to renovate our bathroom.

This is the 2nd kitchen I've purchased from Wickes Cardiff. Wayne dealt with us from start to finish and although Cardiff is not our local store I made the decision I wanted to deal with Wayne again on the 2nd purchase. Wayne came to the property, measured, advised and sent the quote through next day. I'm extremely pleased and even though we were only buying budget-end kitchens we were still made to feel valued and I can honestly say I feel in safe hands with Wayne's knowledge and experience. The shaker kitchens we've purchased are of really good quality and fitted our exact needs.
I would highly recommend a kitchen from Wickes Cardiff under the guided eye of Wayne.

We first had bad experience in the Bridgend branch which made us want to book an appointment at the Newport Road (Cardiff) branch, and from the first time we met Wayne, we were sold! Wayne on of nicest, funniest and real person I have met. He clearly loves his job, and that reflects into his work. He has made us feel like the only people that matter and has listened to our ideas and has designed our dream kitchen. We have placed our order of the kitchen, and are now booking a consultation to redo our bathroom. Though we knew wanted to do the bathroom, but also meant we could see Wayne again. We may even change the kitchen in 5 years for another catchup! 😅

I would really recommend Wayne and Wickes Newport Road to anyone and everyone!

Ps, we apologise for being the last customers out of the store every time we have an appointment. We will try and be better moving forward!

I needed some bits and pieces to get ready for a refurbishment project including finding some cheap but sturdy storage boxes. These I found easily but no lids - I asked Monika for some help - wow over and above - while I went scouting for other stuff she find the lids found me and then helped me locate other things I needed. So helpful so polite absolutely lovely - it made diy shopping a pleasure on a wet Saturday. She is a star!

I went in to your Newport Road store today not 100% sure of what it was I needed altogether as DIY is not my forte. I’ve recently moved so had been given a list of what I needed to buy and I was obviously looking a little lost as one of your new managers (I think her name was Charlotte) came over and asked if I needed any help - which I very much did! She helped me find everything I had on my list & was very knowledgable in explaining to me what everything did. She turned what could have been a very long and stressful visit into a very enjoyable one and made me feel very comfortable in asking for help. Will definitely be back and not worry about doing so thanks to your friendly environment. Thank you!

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff (Monika) at Wickes for their excellent service. At Cardiff store. She was very professional, friendly, and helpful, and made the process of opening an account simple and straightforward. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were extremely supportive throughout.
