Wickes - Chadwell Heath Opiniones 

I arranged a meeting in store for bathroom and when I got there I was told that the people were gone even though I had email confirmation so I managed to arrange another appointment next day at my property and waited there for someone to show up and never did and I was told to arrange another appointment . Is this the only place selling bathroom that I have to religiously go the same place after being let down twice ?

I really wanted to love this experience but unfortunately I will have to rate it 1 star.

I visited the Chadwell Heath store to get a design plan for my kitchen. Its not that close to me but is my closest store so made an appointment. I’m currently on maternity leave so had to bring my 8 week old.

I arrived early but the designer was running late as he was still with another customer. I understood these things happen so I just waited and walked around the store. My appointment was scheduled for 1 hr, after 20-25 mins I was called to the desk.

The designer took my measurements and asked about the different appliances and features I wanted. We spoke for around 15 mins before he ended the appointment. He said he was an annual leave the rest of the week so would email me the design. I thought this was odd as when I had visited other places they made the design during the appointment.

Anyway a week on I’ve had no contact or email from the designer at all. Such a shame because I’ve heard good things about their kitchens, sadly their servuce doesn’t quite match.

Asif at Chadwell Heath was great, was a regular at B&Q, I have now been converted - main thing you can find a staff member everytime !!

Phurchase kitchen from Asif and his team, at Chadwell Heath RM6, had excellent an experience.

Design Disaster The kitchen Wickes sold us was not bespoke. It’s riddled with flaws: from design to installation, paint on new units, a fridge that can’t open fully, cupboards too high to clear the boiler. Sloppy, unsafe works. Ongoing complaint, Wickes showing my empathy regarding the stress this has caused to my terminally ill mother. Been nothing but a nightmare since delivery on the 28th April. And don't trust their estimates for "Specialist Works", we were given an estimate of approx £2,200, which has reached over £6,000.

Wickes installed my bathroom last year, and it was probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had. It was a big job that took nearly two weeks, but everything went like clockwork.

From the very first consultation, I was in safe hands. Leanne Causer was fantastic: knowledgeable, kind, and always available, even out of hours when I had a query. Every single person involved was superb. The builder Gheorghe Morar is highly skilled across the board, handling plumbing, tiling, and carpentry with total professionalism and care.

The Customer service HQ phoned me every single day to check I was happy and to offer support, without me having to chase them once. By the end, I was genuinely running out of ways to say how excellent everything was.

One small example sums it up. On the final day, I came home to find they had quietly shampooed and dried my hall carpet, completely unprompted. That kind of thoughtful detail speaks volumes.

The bathroom has now been in use for over a year with zero issues. It still looks amazing, and the whole project came in well under budget. I’ve since recommended Wickes to everyone I know, including two buy-to-let landlords, both of whom are now using them for multiple kitchen and bathroom refits after having great experiences at different branches.

I recommend Wickes in the strongest possible terms, to anyone who asks and often to people who don’t. I only wish I’d asked them to do my kitchen too. My experience with Wren was, sadly, a very different story.

Leanne designed the most beautiful kitchen I’ve ever seen in my life I am soo happy with the service and the price I received.

Great customer service, Jamil went out of his way to design an amazing kitchen, he had great attention to detail and was very helpful and accommodating.

I bought a Patio brush as few days ago.Cost £6.50.It went wrong almost immediately.The wire head started to disintegrate.I got 30 minutes out of it.
No problem getting a refund .I will look to Lidl next time as their last one kept going for a long time.

Ordered paint to come on Monday and paid delivery charge for this day specifically , as both myself and husband home all day to receive delivery. Had several deliveries from other companies that day but nothing from wickes. I checked my ring camera and no one had attempted to deliver a parcel that was not answered to. Could also see on tracker that local store chadwell heath did not have item in stock, so I asked wickes what was happening to my item and they said they tried to deliver but no one was home and they would be attempting Thursday! This is dishonest of the company, and frankly do not trust them to deliver on Thursday. Avoid!!!! I want a full refund for the inconvenience.

The service instore was good, however the delivery service is rubbish. I paid to have something delivered today but DPD changed the delivery until tomorrow. I have booked someone to decorate tomorrow with the paint that was due to be delivered today. As it's now being delivered tomorrow I have to rebook my decorator and pay him twice. Customer service is not interested in paying any compensation as they say the delivery day is not guaranteed. Just bear in mind that if you order something for a specific day there is no guarantee you will get it when promised and Wickes are not interested if your delivery gets changed.

Customer service skills in Chadwell heath in shop was poor and customer service follow up not effective after returning some good . Still waiting for a response from them and no refund as yet given to me

Wickes bathroom design and installation and absolutely horrific experience from start to eventual finish. Appalling customer service. Appalling communication. Will never use again. Missing deliveries, stuff not showing up, things missing, still waiting on a £300+ refund since April. Avoid avoid avoid

I visited the Chadwell Heath store at the weekend. At first I couldn’t find any staff to help, but my husband and I approached a kind lady that was busy working down one of the aisles, she was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She stopped what she was doing and helped us find what we needed. Thank you Laura.

It's already been another week since my last review. Still no contact from Wickes apart from the standard message....

"Hi there, We are so grateful that you took the time to share your thoughts with us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with this order. This is not the level of service we try to deliver here at Wickes. - AH"

The above message is the only thing that Wickes is so quick to put up. After the above message is replied, nothing is done. What has been done after reporting it so many times??????

When it comes to taking the customer's money, they are very quick. When it comes to fixing the problems they don't want to know.

My issue was reported over 8 months ago and still has not been rectified. In the meantime I cannot use my bathroom fully as one should be able to.

Extremely disappointed with the after-service. I have complained and complained, but it has fallen on blind eyes and deaf ears!!! No one has taken accountability.

You have all my details right from the beginning so don't ask for them again. I want solutions now!!! Very frustrated.

I have also got a few other projects going on and I have gone with other companies such as Howdens, Magnet and even a local installation shop who have all proved to be much better than Wickes.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Leanne at Wickes,chadwell heath for my new kitchen design, and I cannot praise her enough! This wasn’t a simple, straightforward kitchen project—far from it. The space I had to work with was extremely tight, only 2040mm, making it quite a challenge. But Leanne didn’t just meet my expectations—she exceeded them in every way possible.

From the very start, her positive, can-do attitude was truly refreshing. Despite mentioning that she had a tough morning with a previous customer, she didn’t let that impact her time with me at all. In fact, she handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and an incredible level of enthusiasm. She made me and my brother, who joined me for the appointment, feel completely at ease, and her knowledge and skill in navigating such a tricky design were truly impressive.

What makes this experience even more remarkable is that I was originally booked in with another colleague, but due to staff illness and absences, Leanne stepped in to take my appointment at the last minute. Despite the added pressure, she didn’t miss a beat. She worked efficiently, thoughtfully, and with such great attention to detail that it was clear she takes real pride in her work.

Leanne is a real asset to Wickes—without a doubt. Her ability to work under difficult circumstances while still providing exceptional service speaks volumes about her dedication and expertise. I’m beyond grateful for the incredible job she did designing my kitchen, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer who truly goes above and beyond!

Booked a bathroom design appointment for my elderly mother to have her bath changed for a shower from Chadwell Heath store. As soon as the agent arrived he made it clear he wouldn’t be with us for long - ‘I’ll only be here for 10 minutes.’ He barely looked at the bathroom and said what my mother wanted couldn’t be done. There is no shower tray that would fit (there is one for this purpose in the brochure). Panels could not be fitted as the walls are not flat (the house is only 40 years old and in good condition). He said my mother would have to get the whole bathroom redone and implied she couldn’t afford it which is not his place to say. He left after less than 10 minutes clearly not wanting the job. What made me angry was how he made my mother feel. She said perhaps she did not deserve the alteration and would carry on with struggling with her bathing. We are now using a different company advertise replacing baths with showers for the elderly and the disabled. Perhaps Wickes could not have done this but my mother’s needs should not have been dismissed and her feelings hurt.

Visited to look for inspiration for decorating my new home, no one available in the showroom or the shop floor. There was a Nan in the showroom but he said he couldn’t talk to me as he was busy !! Queued for ages at the till and asked for a manager only to be told he doesn’t come to the tills . Guess I’m off to Wren

It is very rare that I come across a sales person in a store that will show me great care, put me at ease to know he will do his level best to accommodate my needs and wants; a person of great patience - not rushing me to make decisions; patiently walking me around units that I have already looked at many times just to make sure that I am 100% happy with my choices; etc etc. I could go on and on!! This is exactly the experience I had with Sultan at Wickes Goodmayes. He was amazing and did a brilliant job with creating my new kitchen. His professionalism and skills were greatly appreciated by myself and my husband. I had two appointments with him and at both times, he was thorough and skilful in putting together what I wanted. He was not about making money by selling me the most expensive units but he was all about giving me what I desired and giving his expert advice - even if that meant that he had to save me from making unnecessary purchases. I would 110% recommend anyone visiting the store and making appointments to ask for Sultan in the first instance, you will not regret it!! Wickes Goodmayes is the store to visit.

We ordered kitchen cabinets today and had the pleasure of getting Leanne causer she was very helpful and professional and all round nice lady thank you Leanne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
