Let me tell you, Wickes in Crawley is a real tool shed of dreams. I went in for some screws and left with a new level of confidence in my DIY skills... and maybe a little bit of a crush on the store manager, Mr Inch. Now, with a name like *Inch*, you'd think he'd be just scraping by, but let me assure you, his expertise is *nothing* short of impressive.

From wood to wiring, his knowledge stretches far beyond a measly inch – we’re talking full-on metric conversions here. He helped me measure up for my new kitchen countertops, and trust me, I’ve never seen someone handle a tape measure with such precision (and dare I say, grace). It was enough to make even the most mundane DIY feel like an adventure.

So, whether you're in for a screw, a drill, or a stud finder, just know Mr Inch got you covered – and then some. Wickes in Crawley? Absolutely nailed it.

A bathroom insulation that should have taken 2 weeks took 4 months.
Design error meaning that the bath could not be filled.

Delivered a part guttering system, half missing. The packaging was ripped open, clearly no one bothered to check it when they picked it in the warehouse. Waste of time and effort.

Fantastic design by Maria Moore and excellent customer service from both Maria and her colleague Natalie. The fitters John and Tom Caiger were excellent; they arrived on time every morning and considering the size of my kitchen I was astonished as they were finished in 6.5 days yet the quality of their work did not suffer. I am absolutely delighted with my kitchen, from the initial discussion with Natalie, the brilliant design from Maria (and my whole kitchen was moving round so it wasn’t just like for like units) to John and Tom who fitted it - all of them worked so hard to make my dream kitchen a reality. Thank you!!

Maria was extremely helpful with our enquiries as part of our bathroom project. She showed constant professionalism and was always available when we had issues or needed advice. The design of our bathroom was everything that we wanted and the final project was immaculate. Very happy with the service.

Our kitchen was designed by Marchela Chamberlain from the Wickes store, Crawley. From the start she was amazing!
We had been to a few kitchen companies and none gave the personalised experience that Marchela gave us. She showed a genuine interested in making sure our kitchen was the best design for us and our lifestyle. She listened and always found solutions. Marchela was friendly and extremely helpful, honestly cannot thank her enough. Our kitchen is yet to be installed but I feel confident that Marchela will support us all the way to the end.

We had a kitchen designed by Marchela Chamberlain who works at Wickes in Crawley. She took time to help us choose the right kitchen and units. She then visited our house and accurately measured our space before once again discussing the plan with us. Once the kitchen was delivered it was just a matter then of assembling the units and fitting them into place as per the plan. And now it is finished it is everything that we wanted and hoped for.

Planning
From start to finish we have received first class treatment from Richard Sheriden at Wicks in Crawley, this is the second time we have had the pleasure of working with him on our house projects. Nothing was ever too much trouble if we had any questions he would get back to us with answers straight away. His years of experience and knowledge certainly shone through. We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard and Wicks of Crawley to others for their house projects.

Fitting Date of install 13 May 2024
We had John and Tom Caiger do our bathroom install, we would highly recommend them to others, as they were polite respectful extremely tidy in their work and their attention to detail was second to none, just a real pleasure to have in the house.
Overall we are so delighted with complete installation project from start to finish .
