It was a pleasure working with Rupert to plan my new kitchen, and I can’t say enough about the exceptional service I received. From start to finish, Rupert demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge and expertise. He answered all of my questions, whether it was about material choices, layout options, or the latest trends and appliances. It’s clear that Rupert knows the industry inside and out.
One thing that really stood out was his patience. Designing a kitchen involves so many decisions, and Rupert was incredibly supportive through every step. H took the time to explain the pros and cons of each choice, never rushing me and always ensuring I felt confident with each decision. I really appreciated the way he listened to my vision, providing helpful suggestions without pushing for anything I wasn’t ready for.
What’s more, Rupert was more than willing to meet again to refine our plans as my ideas evolved. It was so reassuring to know that I wasn’t just a one-time appointment; I truly felt valued as a client. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable, and I left feeling excited and well-prepared for the next steps of my renovation.

Vivi was so helpful. Got me everything I needed to decorate my room.

I was browsing for a specific colour to paint my hallway but didn't find anything to my liking. As I was about to walk away, I was approached by a member of staff, Vivian who offered to look for other colours in the warehouse and managed to get me exactly what I had in mind. She had such a cheerful attitude and a brilliant sense of humour that I allowed myself to be persuaded to buy a handy new paintbrush as well. Made my day. Thank you for your service Vivean, the world needs more people like you!

Vasunan was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the products my mother and I needed. He took his time, gave us choices and was caring. Excellent customer service!!!

We had a fantastic experience working with Rupert for the process of our new kitchen. We had worked with Rupert a year previously for our new bathroom which turned out perfectly so we decided to kindly ask Rupert to design our kitchen.

On the initial home visit, he listened to our desires and gave his expert input when needed. We worked together to discuss potential designs and what could feasibly work in the space that we had. The original CAD pictures were exactly what were after and then we proceeded to go ahead and purchase the kitchen.

Rupert was extremely helpful in organising the installation team that we wanted as well as organising the deliveries that best fitted around our work schedules. His communication was excellent and kept us informed throughout the whole process. He was always on hand when we needed if any problems had occurred. We just want to thank Rupert and the installation team for a thoroughly excellent process.

Rupert has a magic combination, of both "knowing his stuff" from a technical perspective, and the communications skills needed to engage with the customer and work out the best plans with them.

Went today to Wickes Croydon to buy some floor underlay and I was helped by Amy and Blue.
Not only they helped me finding the products I needed but they also gave me valuable tips.
Amy was absolutely brilliant, i will definetly come back.

Had a great experience shopping here at Wickes Colonnades. The store is always well stocked, easy to navigate and the store is always well presented.
Wanted to say a big thank you to Amy and Steve for their assistance today. Both were very professional!

I visited this branch over the weekend for materials required to redecorate my flat and couldn’t have been more impressed with the service I received from both vivi and Sean was exceptional, initially the product I wanted wasn’t on display but vivi approached her line manager Sean and between them they not only sourced the products I wanted from stock in the warehouse but also got me a discount by signing me up for a trade account something I wasn’t aware I was entitled to. Overall couldn’t have been happier with my visit to this branch.

Definitely recommend shopping here. Vaus and Sean was very helpful, definitely a pleasant experience shopping at this particular store.

I now have a wonderful bathroom thanks to Wickes.
My experience with the Wickes staff, from the initial design, through to the installation, final clear up and the customer service following the bathroom’s completion was exemplary.

Rupert completed the design in a thorough and professional way. He measured the room, took onboard our suggestions and made some recommendations to enhance the bathroom further. In store, he showed us what the bathroom would look like, and we tweaked the design where necessary. Once we had agreed to a design, he explained when the bathroom was to be delivered and that an installer would contact us shortly. The installer, Gospodin was his name, duly contacted and arranged to look at the room, where he explained the installation process. He also set a date for the installation. The goods were delivered as promised, 3 days before the start of the planned installation date.

On the first day of the installation, Gospodin arrived and told me exactly what he planned to do on the day. At the end of the day, he showed me what he had done and explained what the plan was for the next day. Gospodin did this every day, so I knew exactly what to expect. On that first day, before he started any work, Gospodin laid down carpet protector, and put up dust sheets on the bathroom door to prevent as much dust as possible from entering the rest of the house. At the end of each day, he swept the entire hallway and stairs to try to get rid of as much of any dust as possible. I was very impressed with his cleanliness throughout the entire process. Gospodin arrived on time each morning, whereupon he did not stop until the work he had promised to do that morning was completed. Gospodin would consult with me whenever he wanted to explain or confirm a design issue, be it the formation of the tiles or even the position of the spotlights. On the last day of the installation, Gospodin found that the shower unit did not work properly. I was able to receive a replacement unit within the hour. What fantastic service!

On completion of the installation, Gospodin arranged the electrical certificate and for a clean up crew to take the rubbish away. These were done inside three days.

I have nothing but praise to give to Rupert, and his team in The Colonnades, Purley Way store, whom I was in constant communication with throughout the entire process. But my most sincerest praise goes to the installer Gospodin, whose timeliness, cleanliness and communication throughout gave me piece of mind during the installation and has led to a bathroom that I am really proud of.

Shaun helped me with some measurements for flooring today and was so patient and thorough. I felt at ease and was happy with my purchase.

Being i the trade I am usually going into a lot Wickes branches around London.

My favourite branch is the Croydon Collonaddes.

The branch is clean, tidy and the stock is majority of time on the shelves.

All the staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

The two staff members that have helped me are Vasunan and Janae.

If you are local to Croydon you have to try them out you will not be disappointed.
