We used Reece (kitchen designer from Derby store). You couldn’t have asked for a more helpful member of staff. He came round and measured up and then we made an appointment for the following weekend. He listened to what we had said we wanted and offered guidance when we needed it. When we got to the Derby store we were greeted by him and a lovely lady who also worked in the kitchen dept who made us a cuppa :) if we had any questions (which we did!) he answered them straight away or got back to us at the time he told us he would. Always at the end of a phone. He explained how everything would look by taking us around the different displays so we could see what would work best. Would highly recommend Reece for anyone who is thinking of having a new kitchen. From Kevin and Fiona.

We had an excellent experience at Wickes thanks to Steve. He supported my mum and I through the process of choosing a new kitchen, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better service.

We were working with a very tight schedule, and Steve went above and beyond. He took detailed measurements, created a thoughtful and practical plan, and patiently guided us through selecting the best kitchen options to suit our needs.

Nothing felt rushed, and no question was too small. His professionalism, patience, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable.

We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and would highly recommend both Steve and Wickes to anyone planning a new kitchen.

I came into store looking for a certain colour paint and a staff member, Nessa was extremely helpful.

Brought our kitchen from Reece at the Derby store really helped us with decision making on all unit and appliances and really went in to detail with the design.
Made us feel like we wasn’t pressured straight from the start.

Dimitri was amazing, very knowledgeable about products, had great suggestions throughout and explained everything in simple terms.

We went into wickes kitchen showroom and saw the kitchen we wanted. It was very easy and efficient to book an appointment. They came out and measured everything and asked us what we wanted. Very easy and very reasonable. Dmitry Mamajev at Derby was exceptionally professional and made ordering our kitchen a pleasure.

Awful service, alot of issues left by the engineers and very poor response from wickes to rectify I have even emailed the ceo and nothing

Well what a great experience. I nipped into Wickes Derby on Monday 29th December, having searched the internet for bathroom suppliers. I hadn't realised Wickes did bathrooms, but thought id have a look as the store isn't too far from home. I was greated by friendly staff who passed me onto Dmitri, one of the kitchen designers, he was super nice and knowledgeable. We designed the bathroom together, and it was so handy being able to look at the items I wanted within the store. I left with a quote and design, and was not pushed into ordering. I went back again this morning to check a few things and make a few adjustments. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Ive ordered my bathroom and cant wait for it to arrive. I loved the fact i can pay interest free over 3 years, including the cost if the install. I also choose to order my floor tiles and towel rail separately as tge ones in store were not to my taste. Can highly recommend Wickes derby... keep up the good work.

I went to the Derby branch looking for a pretty obscure article. They were very patient with me and ensured I got the correct thing. I came away feeling really happy at the whole experience.

Called in to the Wickes Derby store last week, I had a query about bathroom fittings, and the staff member who assisted me was super helpful, and patient with all my questions!

Better off doing it yourself

I was worried about the upheaval of having a new kitchen fitted, but everything went smoothly. Thanks to Reece(kitchen designer) and especially to Sean( Parker kitchen and joinery specialists Ltd) who did a great job.

Bathroom installation process was great up until the point I paid- after that it has been dreadful. Quite possibly the worst customer experience i have ever had.
