Wickes - Durham Opiniones 

Visited the Wickes Durham store. I must say the store is very well layed out and very tidy. The staff are incredibly helpful. The lady on the pay point Sophie was very polite and friendly with good knowledge of the products in the shop. She represented your business at a good level. 👍

We were given some great advice in store which helped with our purchase decisions and then the manager was very helpful with our specific parking needs. Well done team Durham

Excellent support from start to finish. Many thanks :0). The installation was carried out by Steve Lawrence following advice and recommendation by our designer Gary Vent. Both Gary our designer and Steve our bathroom fitter were amazing, friendly and professional. Gary went the extra mile to help us with anything we asked and produced a beautiful design for us. Steve was a human dynamo - I have never seen anyone graft like him. His work ethic and craftsmanship are second to none. Both Gary and Steve are worth their weight in gold. We required more electrical work than anticipated as our fuse box was quite old and Steve's team of electricians - Glen and Steve - sorted everything out for us: fuse box, cabling, earth spike, etc. They are a great team of lads - polite, friendly and efficient. Finally, all our waste was removed by Taylor's Waste Management who were so professional not a nail or screw was left behind once they had cleared our yard. All in all, the Wickes team were excellent: I would highly recommend them to anyone. We love our Japanese combined bidet/loo!!

Bathroom design only appointment with Michael from Durham store. He was really helpful, promptly turned up for our home visit and arranged follow up appointment in store as we were on tight deadline. Very professional and friendly.

Dan helped us to do a large order of paints for our house. He was great at advising us and helping us to get the best deal. He even rang around to other stores to see if they had stock available! Couldn’t fault him at all - 5 star service!

Richard came out was very pleasant, even though he came to my mad house and put up with my partner and I have difference of opinions, which of course im always right 😆, bit he was very professional and knowledgeable and I cant wait for the design on the 16th!!!!

I made contact with the store regarding a charitable donations of goods to a local primary school. Jorden the manager was more than happy support me in accommodating my request.
We discuss what would be needed for the project and Jorden happily pointed out the best products for me. The products were the delivered to the school.
A very good service all round.

I'm so grateful for the outstanding support of Gary Vent at the Durham branch. As a Autistic person I was totally overwhelmed when researching my new bathroom. From the moment I met Gary he put me at ease and adapted to my communication and processing needs without making me feel different to any other customer. I would never have designed my dream bathroom without his highly skilled, patient, knowledgable and friendly approach. He made an experience that I was dreading, actually enjoyable! I trusted him to help me choose what was right for me. I will be forever grateful for his dedication, attention to detail and flexibility. I would recommend other neurodivergent people who are anxious about the process, to ask for Gary and I hope that Wickes encourages other staff to take his approach. He truly went over and above for me without ever making feel that my additional needs were a burden. All the other staff members I met at the Durham store were also super helpful. Not enough businesses are willing to work inclusively and adapt for the specific needs of the disability community - well done Gary & Wickes!

Great price for compost, bark, manure and gravel. All arrived on time, well packaged, good delivery service. Will definitely continue using Wickes for all my gardening needs in the future. Easy to use website. Good experience from beginning to end. Many thanks Wickes in Durham.

Richard from the Durham Wickes store has been fantastic. He put so much time and effort into designing our kitchen and spent a lot of time on the little details. He’s always answered our queries and made changes really quickly, either in person or answering via email and he’s been fantastic to liaise with. Wickes have kept us updated all the way through and the kitchen is looking fantastic. Richard in particular has designed a lovely kitchen, pantry, and utility, and we really appreciate it. Also, Mark Tose, who installed the kitchen has made a fabulous job, great finish and fantastic work.

Jorden the store manager helped me with picking products and was kind enough to donate a few items for a community garden, it is very much appreciated and the help was outstanding, thank you very much

Richard the designer was very helpful and friendly. He designed an excellent kitchen for me. The delivery went really well no problems at all.

Our new kitchen journey started by visiting the Durham store. There were many lovely kitchens on display and a favourite quickly presented itself. We emailed the store to arrange a home visit by one of the designers. Richard very quickly contacted us with a date he would come out and see what we were wanting in our new kitchen. He was a very friendly guy, he shared ideas and thoughts of what would work for us. After that and a couple of visits back to the store we booked and paid for our new kitchen.
We highly recommend Durham Wickes and Richard for all the work he put into our new kitchen.
