Very bad service in wigston branch l went there 16 march around 5 o'clock afternoon

I booked a kitchen design consultation online. I drove for 40 minutes to the designated store to be told by the named employee that he knew nothing of my appointment. There was a blank space on his computer screen but his name and the time was clearly stated in the confirmation email I received. He was apologetic and offered to help me anyway, except he didn't do kitchen design. When I explained that was what was promised online and that was what I had come for he said it was more a bit like personal shopping. I definitely didn't want or need that. I knew exactly which kitchen I wanted and had the cash in my bag to pay for it. I had hoped to finalise the plan that I had made and place an order. Needless to say I drove for another 40 minutes and arrived home very annoyed.
I have now planned an IKEA kitchen and placed an order this morning.

We use Wickes at Wigston on a very regular basis for our business. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Our orders are always available quickly making getting materials easy, especially when needed urgently.

The store have recently supported us with a charity request that we work with in the community, which has been greatly received & much needed. Ben was very easy to deal with via email.

I was making a delivery to this store, it was 5pm and the fork lift driver Scottish Gordon went out his way to unload me when many would have said no!! was absolutely brilliant and a privilege to meet, wish all the fork lift operators were like him, 5 star ⭐️

I popped in to the shop today to grab some tiles but wasn’t sure of which adhesive to go with and the store staff were excellent with their time and advice. The store was clean and easy to shop, the till staff, I think his name was Gordon (?!) was friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience from a rookie DIY-er!

We applied for the Wickes Community Programme for our school. Ben from the Wickes store in Wigston, Leicester emailed within a couple of days inviting me in to store to choose what we wanted. He kept me informed via email throughout and when I eventually went in store, the advisor who served me gave great service. I will definitely use this store again. Thank you.

Kibworth 1st Scouts would like to thank Wickes for there amazing donation. We were kindly gifted garden tools as part of the community project fund ran by Wickes. The tools are amazing quality, and will be used as part of our allotment project with children with squirrels, beavers, cubs and scouts.

Anil made our dream bathroom into a reality. Anil came to our home, we gave him vision of what we wanted, he went back with the measurements and created an AI vision of what we wanted. Everything he chose we bought because it was what we explained and he got it right first time! Anil remained in communication and explained how everything works from the delivery, how to get help if anything is wrong and on going support throughout the project. We have since recommended Anil's expertise to others and will be returning to Anil when we want our kitchen completing!

We recently undertook a refurbishment of our EYFS area, and the support we received from Wickes was absolutely invaluable.

Ben and his team were nothing short of brilliant. They were incredibly cooperative, demonstrating deep knowledge and a consistently solution-focused approach to every challenge. Their assistance has had a huge, positive impact on our school community.
