Excellent service and advice on refurbishing a bathroom by Anthony Garnett.

I was fortunate that a lad by the name of Zac was working when I went in. Proper customer service that's very rare these days. Didn't brush me off when someone was in his ear asking if he was finish (my assumption by his reply). By not being rushed i was able to buy everything I needed plus a cple of extra bits. Thank you Zac.

We had an excellent experience with the bathroom design service at Wickes St Albans. From the initial consultation through to the final design, the process was smooth, professional, and well organised. The design was thoughtfully put together, making the best use of the available space while taking our preferences and budget into account.

A special thank you to Azee, our design consultant, who was fantastic throughout the entire process. Azee was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. They provided practical advice, explained the available options clearly, and happily made revisions until we were completely satisfied with the design.

Having Wickes both supply and install our kitchen made things far more simpler. Everyone was helpful. Our nominated kitchen design consultant, Azee, did a great job and guided us through the maze of colour/design options. We were allocated a superb installer, Liviu - impressed by his skills and his hard work. All nice people.

Zac saw there were 2 tills open yet there was still a queue, so he opened a 3rd till without having to be asked. He did a refund for me and happened to be by the unmanned till when I returned 5 mins later. With a big smile of recognition, he opened the til for me so I didn't have to queue.

We went in to St Albans Wicks looking for a patio sand and few other things.
Zac was very helpful , took us to what we needed, helped load our trolley, very polite and knowledgeable. Real credit to the team. Thank you ☺️

Popped into wickes to look for a electric saw for a one time project . And there was a issue with the shelf prices being wrong and zac went above and beyond to help when I said not to worry il try elsewhere he still helped and resolved the issue so I was able to buy the saw required for my project .

Great staff and friendly who go above and beyond to help can't phrase zac enough even with how hot it was with the heatwave . I wouldn't shop anywhere else

My wife and I recently visited Wickes to design our new kitchen and had the pleasure of working with Anthony Garnett. Excellent design and quality. The fitters were competent and very helpful. The work was completed in less than 2 weeks so disruption was minimal.

We needed to replace our kitchen. Neighbours recommended Wickes.

I arrived to the store and met a lovely designer called Anthony. The creativity and knowledge that this designer has is unreal. Made it really easy from start to finish and was trilled with my experience throughout!

Very Professional, informed and clear understanding of the subject and the advise provide by the Design Consultant : Mr. Azhar Fajudeen ( Azee ) and from the Installation team of Mr.Omran Abu Rajab.

Worse experience ever.
Went to order a garden shed in store as website wouldn’t display delivery.
On arriving apparent the shed box would not fit into any car type. Asked at desk to arrange delivery of item. Was told delivery was not an option, no reason why or any help at all. Was informed if it isn’t for delivery on website they use same website so can't arrange it.
Tried to call customer services 10minutes on phone and still no answer.

We went to Wickes in St Albans looking for a new kitchen and bathroom.
After having visited our flat Anthony came up with plans for both rooms. We were very happy with his understanding of our requirements and accepted both quotes.
The bathroom was completed earlier this month (May 2026), what a great experience, Adel, the installer and is assistant were both caring, friendly excellent at their craft, nothing was too much trouble.
We are looking forward to our kitchen installation early in June.
