The store didn’t have what I wanted in stock, but Mo made sure I didn’t leave to try and order it myself. He sorted a delivery to my house before I left the store (and potentially bought something else from someone else). If this guy worked for me I’d be very happy with that activity.

We booked an appointment online to see the kitchen design specialist for our Utility @ Wickes, Clifton Moor, York.

We have to say that it’s not often that reality exceeds your expectation, but fair play, after 3 hours of detailed conversation, Chris had designed our new Utility, and it went so well we got him to design our new Kitchen too. Chris’s attention to detail and desire to help us achieve our objectives was immense.

Great all round experience, a great solution for us - Thank you Chris!

What a great set of staff, all helpful, got a decent reduction on a damaged item as well .Good selection of stock.

We've just had our new bathroom designed and delivered by Wickes, and installed by Evolution Works.
We are so happy, the bathroom looks amazing.

Popped in to the York branch of Wickes and met Josh who came to our home and discussed our requirements with us and designed our bathroom. He went through all the options available to us and it was nice when in store being able to see a lot of the options on display so we could decide the finishes and colours based on actual items on display.
Wickes put us in touch with Evolution Works who were assigned our bathroom project. Shaun Lomax came out to go through the plans and talk through the finer details (very nice guy, really helpful), Shaun went above and beyond whenever I had a question or needed advice.
Craig and Mickey worked on our project and boy did they work, really hard. Nothing too much trouble, started early, talked us through everything that was being done, all the finishing touches they completed. A really great team who pulled it all together to give us our dream bathroom. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From our first visit and meeting Bibi we found the service, ordering, delivery and installation by Peter Clark to be of a great standard, all aspects of the work were completed on time . Just wanted the hippo bag collected earlier, ( an inconvenience as it’s been 6 days since the work completed )

Called in to York store for a length of 70mm x 45mm tanalised timber. Shortest length available was 2.4m which would not fit in my car. Said I would buy it if they could loan me a saw to cut and shorten it outside so I could carry it in my car. Extremely poor and unhelpful long winded response from male store person saying that was not possible. Was difficult to effectively communicate with him so left without purchasing. A lost sale for you and an unhappy customer. B&Q happily provide a hand saw in store for cutting strip timber and will usually do it for you.

We bought our new en-suite bathroom from Wickes in York. The company representative was Josh Milan. Throughout the process Josh was professional, knowledgeable, very friendly and patient. Josh was involved throughout the installation process and followed up through aftercare, I would highly recommend Josh.

We have had two kitchen design appointments with Ibolya Liptai. She is very knowledgeable about Wicke’s products and able to offer ideas to maximise our kitchen design. She listened to our ideas, and offered advice in a very calm, friendly manner, and was not pushy in any way at all. She really went over and above to help us achieve our design. I have already recommended her services to friends who are wanting a new kitchen design and would highly recommend her to anyone else. She’s an absolute star.

Just went in the store for a simple click and collect but Gloria and entourage were there as entertaining as ever just to fill in a couple of minutes they needed as I was early for the collection great service overall regards Mike

Gloria and Alex helped me find the product I needed and showed great patience with myself as I needed some help deciding what exactly I wanted.

Mel,she loaded a number of paving slabs for me,took them to the car and placed in the boot.Then noticed a damaged item which she kindly replaced. Full marks Mel !!.
