Avoid Wren installation services.

Avoid Wren installation services.

We paid extra to use Wren’s approved installers specifically to avoid problems and have a fully managed installation. Instead, we were left with a non-functioning kitchen.

Wren’s installer charged us for work he never completed, including reconnecting appliances and the dishwasher. He then failed to return, ignored calls/messages, and we were left without a working tap or appliances. We eventually had to pay our own contractor to finish the job ourselves.

Despite repeated emails and formal complaints, Wren ignored our requests to reimburse:
- the work their installer charged for but never completed
- the additional contractor costs we incurred because of their failure to finish the installation

The problems didn’t stop there. The hob installed as part of the kitchen immediately overheated and displayed an E2 error. The manufacturer sent a replacement hob quickly, but Wren have still failed to install it. It is now 7 May ( we were due to have a fully working kitchen by 25 March) and we are STILL without a fully functioning kitchen.

The kitchen itself looks great, but the aftercare, accountability and installation management have been shockingly poor. Once they have your money, getting anyone to take responsibility is incredibly difficult.

Vastly overrated and overpriced

Vastly overrated and overpriced. I hate to think how much this silly company is paying that ex-Coronation Street actress.

Dump the dreadful adverts and spend the savings on improving your mediocre products.

Extra info as requested….The product is just not good enough folks. And when things go wrong (as it did with my purchase), the customer service is slow and ponderous. As I’ve said, in addition, the ads with the ex-Corrie actress is hugely irritating. It does not help at all.

Great experience all round

Couldn't fault wren at all, had a great experience from measuring up with Dom T who actually measured for my kitchen and them came back to measure my bedroom, and the design service from Louis over at the Altrincham depot, not pushy at all,no hard sales, just coffee and a laugh, everything went smooth would reccomend and already have used these guys again.

I had high hopes from Wren that I would…

I had high hopes from Wren that I would receive a great service. The show room experience was great in Altrincham, I felt like I was in safe hands. After paying my deposit, the service has been far from what I expected. The info I was told when designing and booking my kitchen has not all been carried out. One particular think is that I received the wrong worktop and after several calls to customer services and discussions of a solution, I’ve still not received any follow up.
Installation has taken more days than planned which has caused frustration.
With hindsight, I should have gone with the other kitchen company Wren were trying to out-price my quote. Due to my experience, I would not use this company again or recommend it to anybody.

Two Months of Delays, Missing Units and a Damaged Appliance

Avoid Wren Kitchens if you value your time, money and sanity.

Our kitchen project has been delayed by almost two months due to mistakes made by Wren.

The initial design process was handled by inexperienced kitchen designers and contained multiple errors that eventually had to be corrected by the General Manager at the Altrincham branch.

These mistakes delayed the project by weeks and caused additional builder costs that we had to absorb.

When delivery day finally arrived several units and doors were missing which delayed our extension again. The missing unit has since arrived but the doors are still outstanding.

To make matters worse the washing machine was delivered damaged and now needs replacing. After finally speaking to someone at Wren we were told the replacement cannot be delivered for another two weeks which delays the project yet again.

Trying to resolve these issues has been extremely frustrating. Staff have repeatedly spoken in an unprofessional way and referred to me as “mate” and “pal”, which is not acceptable customer service for a purchase of this size.

Between design errors, missing items and damaged appliances Wren Kitchens have caused close to two months of unnecessary delays and significant additional costs.

Wren need to urgently resolve this situation and deliver the replacement appliance and missing items immediately.

Having been in the Kitchen business…

Having been in the Kitchen business myself, I was surprised at the excellent quality of the product. The service at the point of sales was fantastic, and further to that, I had a damaged sink that was replaced with no problem. Very easy to get hold of, which is rare these days, so 10 out of 10 for customer service.

I would and will recommend Wren to my friends, with my experience with them, they deserve it as well as it being of superb quality.

1 Star review for post sale customer service received from Altrincham branch

We purchased a new kitchen from Wren in June 2025 which was installed in August 2025. A few weeks after we purchased our kitchen, we referred a family friend who also purchased a new kitchen which was installed in September 2025. On the 9th of October 2025 we emailed our designer, who confirmed that would he process our refer a friend claim. We did not receive referral cheque, therefore on the 10th of November 2025, we emailed our designer for an update. The designer replied stating that he would re-submit our referral application but be aware that they have a 45 day lead time. Once again we did not receive anything, so on the 12th of January 2026, we emailed our designer requesting an update. We did not receive a reply from our designer, so on the 26th of January 2026 we emailed him again but this time we copied in the branch manager to the email. The same day the branch manager responded to our email, and he informed us that our designer had left the company in December, so he would copy in one of his other designer to request an update. Once again after eight days we did not receive an update, so we emailed the designer on the 3rd of February 2026 (copying in the branch manager) requesting an update. Neither the designer or branch manager had the professional courtesy to acknowledge or respond to our second email, so we once again emailed the designer (copying in the branch manager) on the 10th of February 2026. Once again, a further week later, neither the designer or branch manager have had the professional courtesy to acknowledge or reply to our third email. Basically, it has become very apparent that once the staff member and management of Wren Altrincham have received your payment and their bonus payments, that they are not interested in delivering any form of customer service to their existing clients. Therefore, buyers be aware when dealing with Altrincham branch.

17th February 2026 (Update): I have removed the names of the designer and branch manager as requested by Wren.

Staff are extremely rude and sent us out and swore at us…

Me and my partner were looking at kitchens for our new home and we are young adults. We were excited talking about our plans when a group of workers came over to us and one worker swore at us, using the word “d*ck”. They went on to say how people spend thousands of pounds in there (which was very irrelevant) and asked us our age. We said we are 20 and 19 and they made comments saying how we don’t look our age, which made us very uncomfortable. Me and my partner were both in shock. We were then told to get out. The interaction made our whole experience of buying a new kitchen that was meant to be fun and exciting a horrible experience. I would absolutely not recommend shopping here for kitchens as the staff are extremely judgmental and rude. Especially if you don’t look your age.

The worker swore at me and my partner…

The worker swore at me and my partner as we where trying to look at kitchens for our new home ,he called us dicks and when we stated our age two workers said we dont look our age and that made me feel really uncomfortable and made our whole experience of buying a new kitchen something that was ment to be fun and exciting a horrible experience i would not recommend shopping in this horrible shop

Wrong handles were fitted to my…

Wrong handles were fitted to my bedroom. I was told it would be sorted asap but nothing has happened. Been fobbed with excuses and played between Altrincham and Head Office, with no restorative action being taken. Aftercare is dreadful. Would never use WREN again.

Never response from salesperson after contract is signed

I purchased the new Kitchen from Wren and everything is good until installation. The salesperson told me there is friend referral bonus when I was signing the contract. All information is provided and he promised to send the bonus by cheque but it never happen. I tried to email and call the salesperson. He asked me the information again and no more response after replying the email. Then I called the customer service staff again and there is another staff promised to follow up my case. Again, no reply after I submitted all information they needed. It takes more than year but never response again. It is disappointed as they broke their promise and no more after sale service after the business deal is done.

Awful company

Update 29 September
New major issues have come to light, they have been reporte via zoom call, he assured me the new problems would be investigated theses are the adjacent cupboards have no side panels attached so the cupboard contents are falling on to the floor underneath only retrievable having to remove the bottom kick boards… seriously you couldn’t make this up. The new flooring is chipping because it not flush to the next board hence catching and chipping. One draw front is a different shade of grey to the others despite being changed 3 times… the doors have white marks where the front panel meets the sides and tops, jewellery ie engagement ring etc cannot be worn because the slightest contact leaves marks. Water marks leave marks. These cupboards are fit for purpose. I’m now being INGORED by wren despite my attempts to reach some kind of resolution.

I have emailed 3 times asking for an update to no response!

WREN Uphold your obligations!

Do not engage when this con of a company, it’s disgusting how they take you money and deliver far from what they claim to be.

Awful company, no end of issues from bad quality products to contractor their appointed contractors. Fitted on 23rd June 25, still on going today 14/08, issue after issue. Customer service is dire they refuse to accept responsibility for contractual obligations referring me to the manufacturer warranty when the product received was initially faulty. I was warned by friends about Wren but I thought they were exaggerating!!! Believe me they weren’t and neither am I. Replacement products ( those they are willing to replace ) are still defective. It’s Wrens contractual responsibility consumer rights 2015 to provide goods fit for purpose, anywhere else I’d have the right to a refund or immediate replacement at no extra cost to myself. The time and energy going back and forth with this abomination of a company is utterly demoralising.

I wish I’d gone somewhere else.

No doubt I will get an utterly useless blanket response from ‘Shan’ yes you!!! And this won’t appear on the Wren website they only show the good ones if they are indeed real.

Exceptional design service

We ultimately chose Wren because of the value for money they offer, however, we were so impressed by the service we received. Adam C at the Altrincham branch went above and beyond from our first appointment. We met several times, made numerous alterations and nothing was too much trouble for him. Adam used to be a kitchen fitter and his experience was evident as he noticed a potentially serious issue with our initial plans. He cleverly designed a solution which was practical and looks great. He was genuine and took a lot of pride in his work. As a result, we have a fabulous kitchen!

Extremely disappointed with@WrenKitchens

Extremely disappointed with @WrenKitchens.
We ordered a kitchen, wardrobes & chest of drawers in Cashmere Gloss, but received mismatched Matt side panels and a Matt chest top—none of which were agreed.
Now Wren says we “signed the contract” for the chest top, but for the side panels they claim it’s just “supposed to be Matt”—with no proof from the contract. Two wrong replacements sent, and kitchen drawer issues still unresolved.
They’re also citing our completion certificate as approval, even though we raised these issues immediately after installation and were told chest top would be fixed.
No escalation contact shared. No accountability.
