The manager and Staff at the Mere Green S/C Branch were very helpful concerning my difficulties with both my request to split and switch my ISA with another provider to YBS , and also gave good advice on how to open an online Cash ISA with YBS.

Went to my local branch in Garstang today. Had to stand outside as there were already 4 people waiting inside a very small establishment. 45 minutes later we were still standing outside and the same person was being attended to at the solitary counter in the premises. People I spoke to said they had had to travel over from Longridge as Yorkshire Building society had closed their branch there. 1 of the ladies waiting inside had been waiting for over an hour and was trying to make arrangements to put extra money on her parking ticket. Service here has gone rapidly downhill. Waiting customers were discussing moving their money elsewhere to get a better and more efficient service. YBS are not doing themselves any favours..

I visited your office at Chalfont St Peter to join YBS for the first time and to transfer a cash ISA from another organisation. Both these objectives were achieved in the one fairly short visit. Successful transfer was achieved and I was notified. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Treated very well .Staff were really polite and had a great knowledge of their products.

Using the app was OK.
What astounde me was reading that my transaction may take until tomorrow to be sent.
All the accounts I usually use the transfer is instant.
In this respect YBS are way behind. I shall be seriously considering my future with them
