Disgrace of a company - they are doing water main renewal works in our area and have caused numerous outages, which they have denied are anything to do with the capital works.
This is a complete lie - I have absolute proof of the fact that it's to do with this work but they will not listen.
Not only do we pay one of the highest water rates in the country to keep their execs and shareholders happy but we get an absolutely sub-par service for it.

C U Next Tuesday Yorkshire water , useless beyond belief , dont care , never cared and will ever care … raw sewage in Filey beaches … no swimming , Bridlington beaches ditto raw sewage …. Now i cant wait until Tuesday when i will report you to the police , my MP and you governing bodies …. Can’t wait

I have been having issues with yorkshire water for the last 3 months regarding our water meter. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and understanding, she has helped me very much and I can now stop stressing. Such a lovely lady and if I could I would send her a bunch of flowers to say a massive thankyou.

I had an enjoyable experience in my contact with Yorkshire Water (YW) due to polite customer service making me feel relaxed.

My enquiry was about renewing water support which I was told was not necessary. This is a good, practical way of doing things for those on fixed incomes.

I was struggling to keep up a payment arrangement. I explained my budgeting issues to the agent who understood my position straight away and updated my account to implement by payment proposal. There was no fuss at all and it was all done very efficiently indeed.

I have always found Yorshire water a fair and easy Company to deal with and they have Great customer service staff too, on the rare occasion i have had a query nothing has been too much trouble.

I was impressed by the way the Yorkshire water rep could find certain smart meter data and could pin down a particular day when my usage had been higher. The information their rep goun, tallied with what had happened that day. This reassured me that the meter was reporting accurate information. I was able to argue that my monthly rate should not increase as much as suggested and a compromise about my monthly payment was reached. It is still a significant increase so I am hoping that Yorkshire Water is using the additional funds from this increase wisely.
