Just missed half the game because the…

Just missed half the game because the filming just stopped. Also could not see first quarter because it only captured half the field.

Basketball, 1st tournament down

I dont usually do reviews but was really unsure from the reviews what the xbot pro would be like. I am using for basketball indoor and it has been really good. I think those complaining expect to much at the price point. I have since found gimbals you can get that probably do the same thing cheaper. I would find it handy if there was a really basic simple editing just highlight clip you want and go to next one. I think there probably is I have just never cut video before and feel the tutiorial video is not as step by step as I require for editing. Overall happy, kids love have a video of a good bucket as do I.

We love this for capturing our kids’…

We love this for capturing our kids’ youth sports! We use it constantly for our daughter, who’s an ice hockey goalie. I can actually watch the game and mark big saves with the remote, then review them later with her—it’s such a great learning tool.
Can’t wait to use it for basketball season! Highly recommend, especially for goalie families (the best kind 😉).

It’s one of the worst products I’ve…

It’s one of the worst products I’ve ever had. I’ve spent four days trying to get the firmware to quit update over the holidays. There’s no information online. There’s no ability to update with PC. You must go through the app and they control everything. There are zero help unless they’re in the office Monday through Friday. This thing is a piece of crap. I’m gonna throw it through a wall.

The firmware update stuck at 0% …

When I received the XbotGo the firmware needed an update. When I tried to update it was stuck at 0% for over half an hour. I then tried using different phones to update (both android and apple) but it kept giving me a warning that the battery was low even though it was full. I then charged all night and tried again with the same result. Spent over 3 hours trying to get it to upload. Problems happen, I get it but customer service has been horrible which is the real issue. I sent in a detailed email explaining the problem and what I've done thus far. Customer service replied and didn't offer any actual fixes. Basically said to wait longer and if that doesn't work upload the log so they can analyze to which I've now done 3 times from 3 different phones. Its a brand new unit, why am I trying to trouble shoot? Offer a solution, replace, or refund. Its now been a week and I haven't heard anything from them useful. From what I've read this is a known issue with their devices, we shouldn't have to play these games.

I've been an affiliate partner for them…

I've been an affiliate partner for them and when I wanted to payout my earnings they went radio silent. No contact from them whatsoever.

Edit: I contacted them via Trustpilot and radio silence from them.

I hope I didn't waste $600 on this thing.

The xbot did a mediocre job tracking 3 games then decided this morning to require a firmware update that can only occur if you login. That would be no problem but on 2 different phones we use for filming it won't send me a verification code to login. I can login on my home laptop but I don't think that it will fit in the slot made to secure your phone. Sat on hold for 3 minutes before being forwarded to a voicemail that I am sure will get returned. $600 dollars that is good for nothing right now

I originally bought the XbotGo Chameleon to record my kids’ football training sessions, but now I also use it to film their team. The product works really well, and I’m excited to see how the new Falcon will perform.

Great device

I’ve been using the XbotGo Chameleon for almost a year now as a coach to record soccer matches. What an amazing device! You just set it up and forget about it—it films almost everything without you having to do a thing, and the device keeps improving with free updates. Creating highlights in the app is simple, but my favorite feature is how easy it is to share videos with others. Super convenient!

Furthermore, the price compared to other options is also really great.

⭐☆☆☆☆ bad produce even worse customer service

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointing Product & Support

I purchased the Xbotgo Chameleon and regret it completely. The auto-tracking barely works, the user interface is clunky and confusing, and the connection constantly fails. On top of that, I’ve had multiple remotes fail—and instead of replacing their clearly faulty equipment, customer service endlessly harasses you for more information without ever providing a real solution.

I was initially considering supporting them further by upgrading to the Falcon, but after this experience, I wouldn’t risk it. If the Falcon has any issues, you’ll be stuck dealing with the same frustrating, unhelpful support. Save yourself the headache and look for alternatives—or at the very least, buy insurance so when the product inevitably fails, you can actually get your money back.

Highly do not recommend.

Great Experience

I purchased the XbotGo Chameleon to record my soccer games for fun. It works well, and I've recorded a lot of enjoyable moments. It can track the ball about 90% of the time, and it keeps improving with free updates. The customer service is very responsive and quickly resolves my questions and concerns.

Xbot Chameleon

This kit is top class, ordered at pre sale and have used it for my Grassroots team and JPL side. Off the back of my using and capturing highlights I have up sold 6 units to other coaches. This product is easy to set up and use. Cheap and great value. App needs some more features to help editing more easier.

I have ordered the new falcon from Kickstarter as I know the quality.

Well done Xbot keep pushing the updates
