I reviewed my purchase in January and never got a reply unfortunately. We were gifted one since to our delight. Mass produced in every supermarket going. Don’t waste your money,..more smell in a hamsters fart! Avoid…only useful in a power cut.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would, I was expecting an order today. I received a text from the delivery company yankee candle uk use UPS, and well we all know how competent that lot are. UPS couldn't be bothered to deliver to my home address, clearly it was too challenging for them so they dropped of my order at a collection point 3 streets away.

I am house bound so while 3 streets sounds like nothing it is the complete opposite for someone who is housebound due to an illness, I live alone so no one can just pick it up and why should they when I specifically opted for home delivery.
I contacted yankee candle who really couldn't give a toss and said a refund would be issued when UPS send item back...that was it, they didnt really seem to think this was a below standard of service for a vulnerable customer. I have located a different business who sells the same product for a more reasonable price and reliable delivery service. So if you want to be messed about with your orders use yankee candle uk, if you dont, avoid at all costs. Do not waste your money.

Items were dispatched within about 3 days and they all arrived well packaged and unbroken by UPS. The candle scents I chose are all pleasing too.

I bought the Yankee Candle Black Cherry reed defuser yesterday from the Yankee Candle store,whatever has happened to the product, it absolutely stinks of cheap and nasty ,you can't even call it a scent ,i used to buy them for birthdays and Christmas presents ,thankfully I bought it for myself,I would be embarrassed if I gifted it,i'm considering throwing it in the bin,I paid half price £8.49 ,no wonder they are going "cheap",they smell nothing like black cherry,do not waste your money,I would never recommend Yankee candle now

I bought 2 large cookie candles thinking these will give a nice scent around my house bit I was mistaken. There was NO scent at all it was just a candle nothing more. I definitely wouldn't buy them again, I've also said to people not worth buying dont waste your money.

For the second time running an order from Yankee Candle has been delivered to me smashed to pieces.The first order I claimed and had to send photos of smashed candles just to get a refund which I duly did.now the second time again received smashed after speaking to customer service they again wanted proof by sendig a phot but I am so fed up with their service I will throw away...disgusting

Order compromised by carrier, it was left on my doorstep for hours in a heatwave due to not being bothered to knock on my door or ring the bell. Yankee CS admitted in writing that the reason I had substandard goods was due to this (they barely had any fragrance whatsoever unless you literally went right up and smelt the reeds. Total waste of money as they may as well not even be in the room). I ordered 2 diffusers, 3 diffuser refills and a large Woodwick candle. The resolution was disappointing but I took it, one replacement diffuser.
This was left in the exact same manner once more. I contacted Yankee to advise them of the same error again and have been completely blanked. That was July 17th so I’m pretty certain no response is coming. For a well known and not cheap brand its unacceptable to ignore your failed customers

I bought some diffusers all Amber and Sandlewood. Opened one and there was so little scent it wasn't noticeable unless you went right up to the diffuser. Very disappointed so was going to return them, however, the cost of returning them is ridiculous so I ended up just giving them away. I did actually find one i liked but when I went to order more they couldn't take credit card payments. Now the price has doubled so won't be buying. Customer service is shocking too. No replies to messages or emails unless you chase them. I have a feeling that it's now all about profit rather than quality.

I have bought from Yankee candle for many years but my last order was an absolute disaster
They cancelled part of my order when they could of just asked if I wanted an alternative scent which wasn’t a massive problem but the remainder of the order never arrived
I have contacted Yankee candle and they seem to be just fobbing me off and repeating the same tracking information I already have access to
(Tracking hasn’t changed in 6 days so I’m assuming it’s lost)

I’ve been buying Yankee Candles for years. I’ve noticed the last while that they’re just not the same anymore. Absolutely no scent from them whatsoever. They used to be the best but it’s time to find a better brand

I have researched Yankee candles. So here's my thoughts and what I recommend to have a great experience of your jar.
Once opening your Yankee candle jar, cut the wick a little, and burn for at least 2-4 hours. You'll likely experience the top of the jar, having some black soot, just take a kitchen roll and wipe the soot away, as I believe that the soot holds back the scent. So those with a negative experience, try this and hopefully it'll be a positive one next time. It works for me lol...

Cancelled half of my items so I ended up paying 5£ shipping for a 2£ item. No responses to my many emails to customer service. Please don’t buy!

Being a candle lover, probably one of the worst burning candles I've experienced. Received one as a gift. Thankfully it didn't cost me money. Jar was black in a short time. I binned half way through.

I am incredibly disappointed with a Yankee candle I have recently purchased. Despite multiple burns and keeping the wick trim I have had numerous problems. When I light the candle the flame immediately becomes very strong and makes a sound similar to a firework. It is also a very sooty candle and even for a short burn time. I have soot in my nostrils which really scares me. I have purchased numerous candles before and had no problems so I am extremely disappointed in this, I believe the candle had been manufactured improperly. The candle is Yankee Candle Home Inspirations Campfire Stories 340g. The barcode is 5 038581 168449. There are two additional numbers listed which are 252924752 and 2656536E.

1star is too good, and the reviews say it all.
Avoid they are not interested in the delivery not showing up over £70 out of pocket.
Will never buy again

Such a shame especially over the Christmas period! I bought 3 large double wick candles from the Cheshire Oaks factory outlet…All 3 have burned unevenly and have often burnt out completely…We have had to pour the hot wax out to get the candle wick burning again. What has happened Yankee Candle? It seems your lovely candles from the past have lost their quality and fragrance. At these prices I expect better…Another customer lost unfortunately.

Received a £30 cinnamon stick candle. Made the glass go black and burnt bad and dirty with hardly any smell. Yankee Candle response was that the wick was too long. What a joke ..

1 star is too generous for a £30 candle which won't even stay lit from new.
How hard can it be!
Couldn't recommend and will certainly not be buying another Yankee candle.

Cheap crap waste of money. First time I bought one very expensive and my god they are bad really bad so much wasted wax round the side of the jar it just burned The centre and left about 2cm thick wax round the side of the jar and you can't smell it it's so week I wouldn't waste your money Yankee candle are over charging you for complete crap far better candle far cheaper candles that actually smell of something on the market do not waste your money on this over price cheep Yankee candle crap I would give it 0 star if I could

Der Adventskalender 2025 ist so schlecht angepaßt, daß man die Kerzen nur halb hinter dem Türchen sieht. D.h. man muß den Kalender mehr zerstören um an eine Kerze heranzukommen. Bei einem Preis von über 50 € hätte ich mehr Passform erwartet, Yankeecandle war mein letzter Versuch.
