Took over a month to get a book that said would be delivered in a week. Put my business at a stand still. Wouldn’t recommend. Won’t be buying from them again

I ordered my books on May 13, 2025. My credit card shows they charged me on May 13th. It is now May 25th, and no package has been delivered, nor has there been any communication as to when or if it was sent. Website claims 7 to 10 business days. This was a birthday gift. What's the holdup? I had another package delivered from WA state in 3 days. 9 days now, and this company hasn't communicated what is the hold up.
May 26th...The company reached out to me, letting me know it was sent on May 23rd and gave me a tracking number from UPS. True, May 23rd from India. UPS stated that it would be delivered on May 27th between 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. It never arrived.
May 28th, UPS is telling me it will be delivered today between 12:45 and 4:45 pm. We shall see.
Communication is all we ask.

Do not use this company. I needed a text for a 8 week summer class and I ordered on May 18th, paid for “lightening fast” delivery and here it is May 22nd and it is delayed in India somewhere. I now have to purchase this text from a more reputable company so I can have it for my assignments.

Update: Your response from today is 9 months after my purchase. However, I did EVENTUALLY receive text, weeks after my review and long after my class began. I had already purchased from someone else so I could have them for my class.

SCAM goods not received. Fraudulent company from India, shocker.

I was skeptical when I found a textbook on this site for 70% less than other retailers. I'm glad I did further digging - they aren't located in the US but rather India. They advertise 2 day shipping but that's impossible as they ship USPS first class (5-12 days). Look at the 5 star reviews here and notice those reviewers haven't left a review for any other company....very suspicious.

This website is a scam and I never received my book.

Your Book Stop is my go-to for books! The quality is outstanding, shipping is always fast, and their customer support is very helpful.

Minutes after ordering a book I discovered the price much lower on another platform. This site guarantees lowest rate, yet after sending an email to them about my error within minutes of the order, I've yet to hear back. My credit card was charged instantly, yet getting acknowlegement from them is difficult. I also have yet to receive an email confirmation on my order!

I ordered two NEW books 1 month ago. The order never updated passed "processing", and never got a tracking number. It also states on the website as anyone can see "free shipping all over the world", "We deliver within 2-7 business days". And after a couple weeks, I received one of the books, and it has markings on it from what looks like a marker or a pen, and scratches on the book, when it was suppose to be new... It was packaged well, so it was done prior to shipping.

And as for the second book, I never received it.. I tried to contact the company with no reply. After a month from when I ordered the items, I finally received a partial refund for the order, for the book that I did not receive.. but still, no one ever replied to my messages or contacted me back.

I do not recommend this seller, It is a gamble to whether you receive your item or not, and In my experience, you will not get any type of update, or get anyone to reply to you.

The books arrive just as described, the shipping is quick, and the prices are unbeatable. I've always had a great experience with this bookstore!

I have ordered a plastic surgery book on January1,2025 by order# 91642 and my credit card was charged on Jan2,2025. I have tried to contact your store multiple times with only one communication on Feb16,2025,”let me check and get back to you”.It has been more than a Month and no response even on multiple attempts. The only fast action was charging my credit card.It is poor service. I request either to deliver the books or give me the refund.

I got the email from your book stop that I will get my refund in 2-3 business days, on March20,2025. It has been exactly a month and still waiting for my refund. They are really lagging behind on the fulfillment of their promise. Disappointed again.

Book came all the way from INDIA and they shipped the WRONG BOOK! They want ME to pay to ship it back when the mix up is ENTIRELY their fault! Took forever to get here !

Your Book Stop is illegally reselling Andrew Ramdayal's "PMP Exam Prep Simplified" as a new product when they are in fact, resold copies. Andrew's customer service team informed me that they have an exclusive deal with Amazon to sell new copies of their book. I posted a review on the store page for the book on their site stating this, and they DELETED THE REVIEW!

I just want everyone to be aware, if you buy the book USED from Book Stop, you will not get access to the free 35-hour online course that comes with a new copy.

Also, in general, it seems you can't trust that books they list as 'new' are actually new. They don't seem like a very trustworthy company.

Edit: YourBookStop tried to have this review taken down as defamation. Fortunately, TrustPilot made the right decision and restored it upon investigation. Take that for what you will; but it does not strike me as the behavior of an honest business.

They are still listing the book as new on their site.

To give them as much credit as possible, if you scroll down to product details they list Access Code as 'not available'. However, nowhere in the description does it clarify that that means the online course does not come with the book.

This is my second review of your website for the same matter. I placed an order for NRP 8th edition text books. 5 of them. As stated in my last review, I only received 3 of them. Again, I used the hospitals money to purchase these books for a course I'm teaching in less than a month. The only reply I've received out of the numerous times I've tried contacting your company was given via this review page. Where i was told the company would be in contact shortly. Its been almost a month since I placed my order, and two weeks since the reply to my review. With absolutely no communication from YOURBOOKSTOP. At this point I would just like a refund of the 2 books that weren't delivered. My experience has been horrible.

I've been buying books from this company for months now, and I’m always impressed by the excellent customer support. They’re quick to respond to inquiries, and they always ensure I get exactly what I’m looking for. The books arrive in perfect condition, and their prices are the most reasonable I’ve found online. Delivery is consistently fast, my orders always arrive on time or even earlier than expected. Highly recommend!

This is a fraud site. They charged my account and did not ship the books. No response to emails, chats, online contact form. Don't waste you time. They have a fake US address, but they operate from overseas somewhere.

I would say zero stars but unfortunately it's not an option. I bought a book with this company. The sent a tracking number saying it was shipped. I live in Texas, the package was delivered to NYC, with a whole different name. Been trying for two weeks for a resolution. I asked for a refund last week, and everybody I talk is asking someone else about me refund. This place smells like a scam.

Unless you want to wait on a book to ship from India, don't bother This company is terrible. I ordered a National Electrical Code book from them. It was supposed to ship in 2 or 3 days. After hearing nothing for a week I tried to call the listed number in Wyoming but it was disconnected. I then emailed and got a vague response saying my book was on the way but with no tracking number. After waiting a couple of days I asked for a full refund. They responded with a tracking number so I looked it up and the book is hung up in INDIA. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
