I just received my masterpiece! I have not played for about 20 years and I am so excited about rekindling that passion of old! I'm so glad I came across them on the web!

There customer service is top notch. I had a very, very small issue with order. I thought they had forgotten my strings in the anniversary package that was included with instrument. But no, they did not forget them. Mr Denny finished my guitar early and wanted to send it to me so he did. They are sending the rest as soon as possible!

I have played guitar for 60 years. 95% electric. Until about a month ago, I had two Martin D28's.

I got a 900 CE from you about a month ago. The 900 is spectacular both in playability and craftsmanship. So when I got your text about the 12 strings, I preordered one today a 900 with no cutaway in tobacco sunburst. Can't wait. This is going to be a fantastic instrument, I am sure. The wood is fantastic and I have no craftsmanship like it. And I have PRS Private Stock, Les Paul custom shop reissues, Gretsch custom shop and Rickenbacker.

I've been playing a ZAD900CE Anniversary model for two years. The sound is fabulous, and the instrument is so forgiving to my 70-year-old fingers I still can't believe it. I have two other guitars, but I no longer play them as they cannot compete would the easy play and full rich sound, I get from my Zager. If you want to play, start with a Zager, once you have one, I think you'll agree with me (and I've owned a lot of instruments) Zager is truly a treasure!!

I received my ZAD900CE last week. It is a work of art and has a full, rich tone. The Fishman Aura preamp is amazing. I didn't notice that my 900CE played any easier than my other guitars, but I think I'm used to "mashing" the frets to keep the bar chords from buzzing. I've notice that when I relaxed my customary fretting pressure on the ZAD900CE, it still sounds great. I think that is the difference. I highly recommend the ZAD900CE. Zager' customer service is amazing!

I've had my ZAG900CE for almost a month now and could not be happier!! Spoiler alert: I sent back a Zag50ce and Zag80, but NOT because they were inferior. In fact, with each Zager model, I wondered if these are so fine, what would the Zag900ce be like? The honesty of the ZAGER return policy and generous upgrade offer, left me stunned! So this 75 year old geezer took the plunge. Nirvana rest on its stand just a couple feet away! However, as fine as that instrument is for playability, tone, appearance and overall ‘feel’, the Zager customer care experience, their patient helpfulness, generous solutions and always on tap responses, were an immense part of my decision and purchase. They really do truly care and stand by their promises. It was like having a personal, 24 hour, guitar store next door to me. I’ve had several highly respected brand name acoustics, my Zag900CE Aura is in a league of its own. My goal has always been to make my guitar sound good. This little miracle, makes ME sound good! And as Zager sales reminds, the sound will sweeten. It already has.

I have several acoustic guitars that I collect and play as a hobby and for my church. Most of them are around the $500-$1,000 Dollar range including a Guild, Alvarez, Takamine, Simon and Patrick, and two Martins. I got a Zager ZAD20 after being jealous of a good friend who got a ZAD80 a few months earlier. He loves his guitar, and I was very impressed. I wanted to get a ZAD20 but was hesitant to how it would compare with my other guitars around that price point. I finally got it and all I can say is “wow”! It plays and sounds nicer than all of my other guitars including my American Made Martin. I would highly recommend any Zager to anyone and will honestly say the two I have played sound and play way above their price point. Thank You Zager Guitars! I am a beginner guitar player and received the Zager 36" traveler acoustic/electric guitar as a Christmas present.

As a beginner, what do I know about the feel of a guitar or the playability?

Mostly nothing compared to a pro, however it wasn't a coincidence that I was able to sight read and actually play a song I could not on my electric.

My fingers effortlessly found the right strings and frets. I have a guitar that feels like it naturally belongs in my hands. I have not wanted to put it down for 2 days. It is that amazing to.play.

It is a real leap of faith to purchase a guitar online these days as every guitar company claims to have "the best" of their craft. The design of the Zager for playability claims are absolutely true. In fact, Zager guitars claim the 36" traveler model does not have big sound, well given the clarity, and richness of the tone on the guitar I have, I think you were being quite modest in the web claims for this guitar. It sounds great in just acoustic mode with no amp.

All in all, if you are a beginner I can tell you to purchase this guitar forthwith. The craftsmanship, thought in the packaging and accessories included is second to none.

You can tell this is a guitar designed and manufactured by true musicians. It's always the details that separate average items from true excellence.

For example, the built in tuner is a detail only a musician that has played live would think to include standard vs an investment banker running a guitar company who leaves it out to increase profitability vs playability.

Lastly, the finish on this guitar is heirloom quality, right out of the case. I know woodworking as a hobbyist and looked this guitar over and over for the slightest imperfection, and came up empty. It is absolutely perfect in fit and finish.

Guitars are EXACTLY as described. Fantastic craftsmanship, terrific sound, wonderful feel. Customer service is AMAZING. The guitar I ordered was supposedly delivered at 10 am on 12/24. I never received it. On Christmas Day - thinking I would not hear back from the Zagars until at least 12/27 - I get a response from them (no, not a bot). Together, we surmised that the delivery service put the boxed guitar outside on the street next to a nearby loft - OUTSIDE - in NYC. What did the Zagars do? Promptly ship me a new guitar. Happy Christmas (for me), indeed. So wonderful to know that there are honest merchants out there who walk the talk. Very impressed. Thank you Mr. Zagar et al.

I am the very happy recent purchaser of a Zager guitar. I did a lot of research before purchasing, finally pulled the trigger, and was delighted, on opening my package today, to find my expectations exceeded in every respect. What a beautiful, handcrafted instrument, with incredible tone and ease of play, at such a value... and with a truly personal presentation and delivery. Getting a Zager is so much more than buying a guitar. It is a surprisingly endearing experience that comes back to me every time I pick up my beautiful, new guitar. Thank you Zager family!

I really love my new electric/acoustic Zager parlor guitar. Sounds and plays great right out of the box. It cane with absolutely everything you could possibly need to make playing guitar the best experience ever. Ive been playing for 55 years. And this guitar is perfect in every way.

W-O-W !!! I am truly just starting guitar, Absolute beginner, I started playing back in July after being in the hospital for many weeks. So I decided with all my time at home being a Vet and disabled(not service connected)Wife working all day, so I bought an acoustic Fender MOD CE-100-LAT for several hundred and literally, made time for 10 minutes every morning, which has always turned into 30-45 minutes since July; that was until my New Zager ZAD50CE LH / Mahogany arrived…
Again, another Wow moment was once I unpacked it from the cardboard, I was caught off-guard at such a QUALITY CASE with Humidifier digital read-out. Now playing the “other guitar” daily for the last 4 months, my practice time 30-40 minutes was due to finger pain but calluses have begun to form but its been painful but I thought I was enjoying the minor annoyance of learning to use the fingers on the fretboard and neck I was having fun and enjoying it. That was until I took my STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL all Mahogany guitar out of the case.
I first immediately notice just how silky smooth the finish every inch up and down the guitar. And the when I discovered Mr Zager’s signature on the back of “MY GUITAR”, I truly feel like I was fortunate enough to own a piece of possibly historic music craftsmanship, from a Legend in his own right before becoming a Master Luthier, I truly feel privileged.
Now my 10-15 minute practice time my new Zager, I have not spent less than an hour and a half to a little over two hours. All because my fingers don’t cramp cause I don’t have to press so hard for chords and making it significantly easier to attempt more successfully simple chord changes and progressions, again all I can say is W-O-W !
So all I wanted to originally convey was my thanks and gratitude for such a piece of art !

I have played solid body electrics all of my life. I found acoustics bulky and hard on the fingers. However, they have a sound you can't do without.
I purchased your Zager 50 OM cutaway and couldn't be happier.
The finish is too good (if there is such a thing). I am glad I bought the OM model as it fits like a glove.
The Easy Play neck and string setup is an understatement! I was able to play two hours right out of the case with no discomfort.
The guitar tunes and sounds beautiful.
The free gifts and price were a pleasant surprise!
I am as happy with this purchase as just about any item I have ever bought in my life.

It took over 2 years to finally receive my ZAD 900CE 50th Anniversary guitar. Covid did not help. First, the guitar was in uber mint condition when I removed it from the case… perfect. The sound by itself to me at least, is a very bright sounding guitar with depth, which I am sure will change with age as my other acoustics have. It is actually very easy to play as advertised. I have 3 Ovations, one Emerald guitar and one Taylor 414 CE. The Zager 900 CE is easier to play then all of them. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers which are large so playing a C-chord on guitars isn’t easy. But on the 900CE it is. The setup upon arrival was excellent. I take all my guitars to my luthier for a once over and he could not find any issues. He was very impressed having worked on many acoustic guitars in the past. But the real surprise is the Fishman Aura Pro sound system, which is top of the line. Just playing with the images already loaded, the guitar sound is incredible… Like you are in an auditorium and the sound just booms. Very rich and full. All in all, I am very happy I finally received my Zager… And everything that was advertised you would receive you did. And the T shirt was the right size… Not sure how they got that right. LOL.

I've been test driving my new Zager ZAD90CE for a while now and I wanted to report in with a 100% honest review.

Not being a guitar player, I have studied long and hard before pulling the trigger on a guitar in excess of $2000. That's the kind of money that I would pay for a used car, not a guitar. I wanted to believe the hype... all of the marketing that I have heard. Finally I made the decision to purchase your flagship model. Again, I am not an accomplished player. I am just an ordinary guy in his 60s wanting to check guitar off his bucket list. The verdict is in....

Wow!

I have been teaching myself on an old Takamine GS330s and thinking it was pretty good. After waiting for the new woods to settle a bit on the ZAD90CE, I cannot believe the difference that true craftsmanship makes. I went to pick up the Takamine and I am asking myself how I was ever able to play that guitar. Nothing against Takamine (great name) but compared to a Zager???

Your marketing is not hyped... it is spot on. I have no idea how you are able to produce what you produce but I cannot say enough good about it. Anyone who wants to know just how superior Zager guitars are just needs to test drive one... and then go back to their old model.

Bottom line is that I am a 100% satisfied customer. The guitar lessons alone are incentive enough to purchase a Zager guitar. I know my Zager ZAD90CE will probably outlive me and be passed down to my son. My most heartfelt gratitude and admiration to Mr. Denny Zager. He is a craftsman and an artist of the highest caliber and a true legend in the industry. I know that he put the finishing touches on the guitar. He set it up and signed it... twice. I now own a signed Zager guitar signed by Denny Zager. It is both art and an instrument. Whether I play it or look a it I win.

I purchased the ZAD-80-OMEC several months ago. After a month, the Aura pre-amp failed. I notified Zager and after a long delay due to supply chain issues, a new unit was mailed to my luthier's shop. However, due to health issues, my luthier was unable to complete the repair. I thought that I would have to find another repair shop, However, Zager instructed me to return the instrument and offered me the ZAD 900 OMEC as a replacement for my inconvenience. At a loss for words, I can only say "Wow". Uncalled for customer service. The 900 sounds like a grand piano. I'm thrilled with the guitar and Zager. Thanks for all who assisted me.

I recently ordered a ZAD900CE. I wanted a good guitar to use in clubs without risking any of my vintage instruments. The Zager is much more than a tool to use in a live setting, it is a very fine, high-quality guitar with a lot of character. I find myself reaching for it more than the other guitars in my little studio. The guitar is very comfortable, and well made. Unlike many of the machine cut guitars out there today, you can feel the sweat and love the craftsman put into this one.
I chose The Zager over a Taylor 814CE, Martin Eric Clapton and a few others in that range.
I am a real person and a guy that plays "out" a few times every month. I have guitars from the 0s and the Zager measures up well. it is exciting to think about what this guitar will become as it ages. I think I made the right choice and I would not be shocked if I went back to that well again!

I can not say enough about the quality, sound and playability of my Zager ZAD50E-OM. I am amazed at the rich sound that eminates from it. The guitar is flawless in every way. Kudos to the whole Zagar Guitar team.

...and to top it off....I have never seen a customer service department that was so eager to assist. Way to go!!!
