Zager makes awesome guitars. I've played the ZAD80CEOM, ZAD900CEOM, and the ZAD900CEOMVS. They were all extremely well-made, beautiful guitars, and I am the proud owner of the ZAD900CEOMVS.

The Fishman Aura electronics are definitely worth the slight upgrade. The customability and sound you can get is amazing.

Major props to the Zager customer serviuce team. There were a few issues that snuck by quality control, but customer service would not rest until they knew I was 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I got a ZAD50CE guitar the other day and I have a hard time not playing it long enough to write this review. The sound is fantastic and it looks pretty too! The action is awesome. The neck is a little wider than I'm used to but my messed up finger fits better for it! Plus the package of gear that they threw in! I'm really having fun with this instrument and I don't foresee any reason why I'll be using the free shipping to send it back. Looks like I may die with it in my hands! Thank you Denny and crew!

So I received my ZAD900CE Sunburst
A few days ago I’m a contractor so I wasn’t able to get to see or play it right away but it’s OK because the excitement of coming home knowing that this beautiful Zager ZAD900CE Sunburst was at home waiting for me to unboxed. Well let me tell you this Zager Guitars is incredible beautiful in its finish and constru. And inlays from top to bottom. The sound the sustain have no words for them. What a beautiful, looking and beautiful sound in guitar. I have always been a gibson man I own a few Gibson electric’s, and was looking to buy the Gibson hummingbird. But I truly found my hummingbird in the Zager ZAD900CE sunburst it definitely competes with any high end guitar. I truly recommend it. I got a very good deal on it and was in my budget. This is truly a $4000 guitar.
The craftsmanship that went into this beautiful piece. It’s got me smiling from end to end. The play ability and the sound Wow just mind blowing. Wow. What a beautiful American made guitar. I have played the Gibson hummingbird. And my new Zager ZAD900CE is right there with the gibson. you want an American made high end guitar for a great price Zager craftsmanship of this American guitar the sound the Sistine from the binding to the beautiful inlays and finish to the scallops inside the guitar just beautiful

After long deliberation, trying out different brands, and reading reviews, I ordered my ZAD900CE guitar from Zager! Within 6 days my beautiful guitar arrived in perfect condition. Upon opening the case I was in awe.
Starting with the workmanship, the wood is beautiful: the inlays and binding are incredible. Then there is the sound, reviews and videos do no justice ! This Zager is a dream guitar. Thanks to Denny and his team for such great workmanship! Anyone who appreciates fine musical instruments will be blown away by Zager guitars! All I can say is Wow. Sincerely. When I picked up my new Zagger Guitar it was a WOW moment. The Guitar felt so comfortable to hold, For some reason I smelled inside the guitar hole and again WOW. I love the smell of fragrant wood, this was incredible. Playing it was like advertised. Easy to play and a nice and comfortable feel to it. Now the sound incredible. Been playing for quite a while have several guitars electric and acoustic including a Martin. None when I got them had that certain sound I was looking for, always a little disapointment when I got them home though I love them all for their own personalities (kinda like your kids I guess without getting to weird about it.) This is the first guitar I've gotton that did'nt happenen with. Its what I was looking for for many years. And I can't express my thanks enough. I am 69 years young and my music is a very important part of my latter years. I don't want stop before I mention the perks. When I opened the case there was a personal handwritten thank you note greeting me. Added to that was a surprise Zager T-shirt. I love T-shirts I was just looking that morning on the internet for one. Nice! All the bonuses were as advertised. Again Wow and Nice. What a quality product and experience. Anyone thinking of buying a guitar really should Zag with Zager. And I'm not a robot. I really mean what I say. This has been a GREAT buy.

I was inspired not long ago to learn to play guitar. For spiritual reasons among other things, but I knew I needed to get one and learn how to play. So...
I went on a search for a good guitar to learn on that would also have longevity after learning. It just made sense, this way there would be no need to upgrade down the line. I found Zager Guitar during my search and had no knowledge of them before so I felt it worthy of a look around. So glad I did, once I checked out their site and read about Denny and fam, I decided to purchase my first guitar thru them. I purchased a Parlor that seemed to be the way to go for obvious reasons and it fit like a glove. I'm a small person and this just felt less awkward than a standard. As luck would have it, I found them during their anniversary sale as well. So it was a win, win a far as I could see so I went for it. I ended up getting a sweet deal with a gift of some great extras, especially since I had none of these things sitting around as a seasoned player might. They will be my go to for all things guitar from here on. They are good to get back to you if you have any questions as well. Would recommend to anyone. Mr. Denny Zager seems to be a pioneer in the field since he has thought of things I didn't notice in the other sites. That definitely got my attention!

Customer service was top notch, helping me get exactly what I was hoping to get (a guitar each for my son and myself). I already love my ZAD50CE-VS, with its comfortable low action and string spacing, rich sound, and beautiful finish. Can't wait to play it multiple times every day.

I purchased a mint condition ZAD900CE and the Aura Pro malfunctioned. Zager sent me a replacement Aura Pro, no questions asked. Their customer service responds quickly and I am thrilled to have my guitar in full operation again. The Aura Pro is by far one of the best acoustic preamps in the market. Thanks Dennis!!!

Hummm…. Let’s see? Oh ya, I know where to begin. I have an entry level Z20 and an anniversary 900 CE. Wow, I tell you what! For a cheap Chinese guitar that’s supposedly mass produced. Mr.Zager and his staff sure know how to set them up. The guitars I own compete with all the top made,”USA built.”They have been played in many circles in this bluegrass area. I’m not rich person, but if Mr. Zager would furnish me with another. I would cut one into to show the quality. If you’re a non believer or habitual trasher. This post isn’t for you.I’ve been Zagerized. Pick one up and play it. Most Martins are assembled overseas, so I don’t understand where all the negativity comes from.

ZAGER ZAD900CE 50th Anniversary Edition
I’ve always been a Taylor fan (owned 4, still have 2) but after a wrist injury in 2014 I found my 615CE jumbo difficult to play. Eventually I sold it. I wasn’t looking for a guitar but the Zager FB promo drew me in one rainy Saturday afternoon., I’d heard the name but was unaware of their guitars, but after reading about Denny and the company I was intrigued.
The 30 day guarantee sold me and I got the guitar yesterday. Came in a nice case with a digital humidity display. The guitar was flawless and absolutely pristine, not a speck of dust! The are beautiful.
Actually the whole “Easy Play” thing worried me a bit, but after I picked it up and started playing it was just a normal guitar. A really high end guitar. Yes it plays easier than the Taylor did but the smaller OM body has a lot to do with that. Tone is fantastic, even better than the Taylor. Notes last forever with a sweet finish. And the Fishman Aura Pro onboard system sounds great through my Friedman amp. I absolutely love this guitar!

I had issues with items not arriving and a 2 week run around with their customer service. At this point I emailed Dennis JR and he stepped in and totally redeemed my faith. Not only did he resolve the issue of the missing items with a next-day shipment but he also refunded 50% of my purchase price. Who does that? These guys! Utmost integrity. And the guitars are outstanding! Thanks Denny! :)

75 and arthritic hands... Zager Parlor is a heaven sent. Love the sound, looks, and playability much better than my Taylor Mini. Very happy!

I was hesitant to buy a guitar without playing it first but in retrospect I should not have worried. First, the guitar was as advertised: impeccable fit and finish, beautiful to look at, and the sound was simply amazing. I used my two year old Martin HD-35 as a reference and was blown away by the Zager ZAD80CE. The big surprise was that a cutaway would sound as good as a full dreadnaught. The bonus is that the Zager was much easier to play than the Martin. In any event, at this point I much prefer to play the Zager.

Two other items of note: (1) Since I bought on the BOGO promotion, I was not expecting the "free" second guitar to be much. Boy, was I ever wrong. Zager sent me this beautiful black guitar that is about equal in sound to any $900 guitar I have ever had. They even sent some extra strings, a gig bag, a strap, and a tuner. I was very pleasantly surprised.

(2) I would be remiss if I did not mention the extraordinary customer service Zager provided. Each and every question was answered within an hour or two, and in a friendly and professional manner. Try getting that kind of response from any other guitar maker, especially Gibson or Martin!

I've been considering buying a ZAD for a couple months and I finally ordered a ZAD 50ce. It came in today and I am well pleased with the playability and sound. I have a Martin D18 that I really like but the ZAD will be my new favorite. Plus it is a beautiful guitar. Thanks for the quality craftsmanship.
