Reliable travel agency
The booking on line was easy and worked without any problems. The boat tour to Paros was very nice and it was good beeing able to stay a long time at place to be able to se as much as possible the other island Paros, at place. The roundtour by bus on Naxos was excellent. Long enough with a lots of visiting stops and information from the good guide Nicolas.

We arrived at the pier at the 8:45 a.m
We arrived at the pier at the 8:45 a.m. meeting time, only to be told by an agent to RUN because the boat was leaving. We were informed that it left at 9. Another group also had to run. Better communication would be helpful. Otherwise, it was fine. Not really a "tour" exactly, just transportation, but staff was nice.

We'd like to sincerely apologize regarding the confusion about the leaving time - we're very sorry that you had to run and we fully appreciate that could have been stressful.
We don't know who would have mentioned leaving at 09:00, certainly it was not us as that information is not correct. As you can see on the description of the tour we consistently mention that the departure time is 08:45: https://zastours.com/tour/day-trip-from-naxos-to-delos-mykonos-full-day-boat-excursion-with-naxos-star/389789.
However, it could be clearer that it is the departure time and not a meeting time.
We'll now update our tickets and web site description to try to be clearer that this is a departure time (not a meeting time) and that travelers should be a the pier before this time.

Not a great experience
We had the sunset horseback riding on may 30th and are dissatisfied with the experience. It started all very unorganized. When we arrived there were already 3 people waiting for this experience. Nobody had come up to them to greet them or anything. One of the guys had to walk up to a guy to ask him how and what. When we started our horseback riding one of the horses kept pulling down it’s head, later on the ride it sliced my finger open, because there was a piece of metal in in the halter to keep it from falling apart. This horse also wasn’t obedient to any command that was given. So I basically gave it no commands anymore. It was also not having the water so it almost ran into the umbrellas on the beach. I have experience with horseback riding and could not work with this horse. So for someone who has never ridden a horse they might have fallen off. Luckily my friend was on an easy horse since she had never been on a horse before. The 2 guys that joined our ride were almost all the time only speeking Greek to each other and there was little conversation with us. Also did we not see the sun fully set. Which we did expect since it‘s a sunset experience.

The tour was good
The tour was good. But we were not given any kind of ticket and both the guy checking tickets on the boat and the tour conductor on the bus were confused and almost didn't let us on. All we had to show them was the email reciept from Zastours, which they didn't seem to understand what we were showing them. They both eventually just kind of shrugged and let us on. For a second it seemed like we'd be left behind. That was the only stressful part. Otherwise, good tour.

Regarding not having a ticket, perhaps you didn't notice but the email we send actually comes with two attachments - one is the receipt for your financial records and the other is the ticket. We're guessing that you accidentally showed the wrong one and this was the reason for the confusion :)
We can assure you, nonetheless, that you would certainly never have any issues (even in the event that you lost your ticket) as we've been working closely with the 'Naxos Star', your tour provider, for at least 20 years here on the island of Naxos.

I miss the boat for two minutes because…
I miss the boat for two minutes because they did not put the name of the boat on the ticket and once I ask help for the manager she ignored me and compared it is like a airplane. But even airlines call people once they are late where Zas tour didnt call me and sit on the money. There are other companies who are friendly except this one!

Hi,
Thank you for this review and thank you for booking with Zas Tours. We're very sorry that you missed your boat. We appreciate that you must be upset however, unfortunately, in such cases, there is little we can do. It's the policy of the tour provider to not wait for a very long time (though normally, they do wait for 10 minutes or so if they are not told someone is running late). In this case, the tour organizer tells us that port staff report that you were late by about 15 minutes.
We don't believe that we ignored you but after you missed your boat we patiently explained the situation that if someone is late without any notice then there is very little we can do. We're truly very sorry if you believe that we weren't friendly in our dealings with you. We should also stress it was the tour organizer that compared being late with taking a flight so perhaps you are confused between us and them when you talk about being ignored.
We always try our best but perhaps here you were too upset to appreciate that we were really trying our best - which we can fully understand. I think there is not one of us in the office that at one time or another has not missed a flight, a ferry or a bus. These things happen and we hope that you might feel a bit better in a few days and appreciate that there was really nothing we could have done.
Regarding the ticket we believe we are very clear. The instruction says (in bold) to arrive before 08:30 am and the name of the boat company is clearly given and this is the branding you see on the boat itself and the signs around the boat. The ticket also has a link to a Google map for directions, a written description of the departure location (opposite our office 'Zas Travel' in the Naxos marina) and the contact details of the tour provider (including mobile phone number).
While nobody else has ever had any difficulty in the past (there is only one very small marina in Naxos and really only a few boats) we'll, of course, look at our tickets to see if they are clear as they absolutely can be. But we must say that if you were running late you could have called us or the tour provider. We would have then tried our very best to delay the departure - but unfortunately you didn't do this. We really want to help our customers but we can't do that without any notice or information.
Once again, we're truly very sorry that you weren't on time for your boat and missed your excursion, we can appreciate that this must be very upsetting and we truly sympathize with your situation. But we believe we are very clear in our directions on our tickets and we always try our very best to be friendly and professional - and we're truly very sorry if you feel that wasn't the case here. We'll endeavor to do better.
We very much hope that you have a great rest of your vacation and thank you once again for booking with us, we hope that despite missing your boat this time, you still might consider booking with us in the future.

We're sorry that your booking was cancelled and thank you for this feedback and for trying to book with us. We feel badly that we didn't meet your expectations here. However, it is not true to claim we didn't communicate with you. We have copies of all our communication. We can fully appreciate your frustration and empathize with your situation but we believe that either you are being dishonest (and we hope that isn't the case) or are confused perhaps between us and another company you dealt with on your vacation.
To be clear, we emailed you immediately that the booking was cancelled and that you would be given a 100% refund. To this email you replied asking how to print your ticket. We understand that you may have not understood the email - so we again emailed stating that the tour was cancelled. To this second email from us you replied "No I still want to go" and asked again how to print your ticket.
We then called you on the phone to explain that the tour was cancelled and you would get a 100% refund. We asked you to confirm in email that you understood and were happy to get the refund. This you did.
Therefore, it is untrue to say that we never confirmed the cancellation without you asking. We did so multiple times and finally by phone. We fail to understand how there could be any confusion after our repeated emails and phone call. Perhaps you have become confused between us and another company you booked a tour with?
From us, we must say that are truly sorry that your booking was cancelled. This is beyond our control and we believe we acted correctly by immediately informing you and immediately proceeding with the full refund. We have a good reputation for fair treatment of our customers and we believe that our treatment was 100% correct in this instance.
Thank you for trying to book with Zastours and we hope that you enjoyed your vacation despite not being able to do this tour - and once again we're truly sorry that your booking was cancelled.

Despite multiple call attempts
Despite multiple call attempts, we were unable to confirm the location of our tests. In fact, we were unable to reach a human to confirm the location. This was such a waste of money.

Thanks for this review. We're very sorry that we failed to meet your expectations on this occasion. You agreed by email that you would alter your review but you haven't done that.
It appears from our communication that you booked two rapid tests at your accommodation and then your plans changed. The health center hired to carry out the tests told us that they tried to find you, on the date of your appointment, at your hotel. The reception desk informed them that you had left two days earlier. The health center also tell us that the contact phone number that you submitted was not responding.
You have told us that you tried to contact the health center to confirm the location for the test but were not able to do this and this is the reason for your poor review. Nowhere do we state the need to do this - as you give your location details when booking. We can only presume that you tried calling the private health center on a day or time that it was closed.
As a company, we also have a phone number on our website and two offices in Naxos Town. If you had contacted us directly with your concerns - or to state that your plans had changed - we would have gladly helped. We're available in person, by phone, on Facebook, Viber and WhatsApp. We're more than happy to go out of our way to help our customers.
As a gesture of goodwill and without being asked we have decided to give you a 100% reimbursement of your money. We feel very badly that we didn't meet your expectations here.
Thank you once again for this review and for booking with us. We're once again very sorry that your experience wasn't a good one for you, and would like to offer our full and genuine apologies. We hope the full refund goes some way to helping in that apology.

Booking a Koufonissi day trip
It was posiible to book a tour to Koufonissi on the website that was not available on that day. However we were informed very shortly afterwards and could easily arrange a booking change for another day via WhatsApp and received a new ticket via WhatsApp.
They also helped successfully to retrieve our hiking sticks that we forgot to take with us when returning to Naxos. 👍.
