AVOID!!

AVOID!!! Low quality belts with definitely major issues with materials and work. bought this 5 yrs ago wearing less than 20 times, never exposed to direct sunlight or damp environment, severely peeling off and cracked... the belts i own from other brands never had issues even for daily wearings. Reported to Zegna and their response was a joke. See their email response below on 23/09/2025. Funny reply and no intension to assist with anything..

Based on their feedback, the issue appears to be primarily caused by moisture and sweat. Prolonged exposure to humidity or perspiration can weaken the adhesive and surface coating, leading to peeling. Storing the belt in a damp environment or not cleaning it properly can exacerbate this issue.

Wear and tear could also be a contributing factor, especially if the belt is worn tightly or bent, which can place stress on the material. Over time, even high-quality items can show signs of use under regular conditions.

Additionally, exposure to heat or direct sunlight can dry out the coating, making it brittle and prone to cracking or peeling.

We understand you’ve only worn the belt around 20 times since purchasing it in 2019, but these factors may still have contributed to the current condition.

Great shoes

Great shoes! Not too sure about the made in Turkey overshirt for 2000+ euro. Fabric is nice, but you would expect made in Italy.

Disappointing Customer Service for Expensive Shoe Purchase

When you buy shoes worth around 1000 euros, you expect customer-friendly service. The shoes turned out to be too tight. The salesperson suggested coming in, but once in the store, the manager said they unfortunately couldn't do anything. The only solution is for them to send the shoes back to Milan for evaluation, but this could take one or two months due to the investigation. Never ZEGNA again!

Design flaws + no accountability

I ran into an issue with a coat from Zegna where hidden metallic buttons damaged the exterior fabric over time by rubbing against them. This is clearly a design flaw that would ultimately lead to this unavoidable situation. I reached out to Zegna and their only response was that this is a “natural outcome after extended use” and not classified as a “manufacturer defect”. This issue started a couple of years after purchase and got a lot worse afterwards even though if I am currently rotating between 4 coats in the winter (all others with no issues whatsoever regardless of age). Very disappointing when you spend thousands to get this response from customer service setting a very low bar for the durability/quality of their products.. Check out other brands because this one is all fluff and story telling with no substance

I have been a fan of Zegna…

I have been a fan of the Ermenegildo Zegna for 20 years. But finally i'm extremely disappointed with Zegna. I have two winter jackets, bought in 2023-2024, and the zippers don't work on both.
When you sell a jacket for $1000, can't you put a quality zipper in it? Because of bad zipper, I definitely got sick once, because I tried to zip up a jacket while running and couldn’t, at -12 outside!
I miss the things they made in Italy 15 years ago...

I am extremely disappointed with Zegna.
I bought a backpack from Zegna 2 years ago. After some time my backpacks back part worn out. I took it back to a Zegna Shop and they send an email to their customer service with the pictures. The material is some kind of a fabric behind the backpack and obviously it is not a correct material. Unfortunately they rejected to repair. I will never shop again at Zegna store.

Extremely Disappointed with the Quality and Customer Service – 1 star

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the product and the customer service provided by Nevila. I purchased a pair of Triple Stitch shoes, and after a short period of use, I noticed unusual wear and tear. The leather showed signs of damage that I believe are due to a defect in the material, not normal wear.

When I reached out for assistance, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. Despite referring to my rights under the Consumer Code (D.lgs. 206/2005), the response was far from satisfactory, and they refused to acknowledge the potential defect.

Given the poor quality of the shoes and the lack of support from customer service, I highly recommend avoiding any purchase from this company.
Do not waste your money!

Entreprise non fiable

L'entreprise a mal écrit mon numéro de téléphone lors de la réalisation du bordereau d'envoi ce qui a retardé la livraison. Une marque de luxe ne doit pas commettre ce genre d'erreur.

Vermeiden Sie ZEGNA

Mein Mann hat vor maximal anderthalb Jahre eine ZEGNA Daunenjacke gekauft . Da das Wetter in D relativ warm ist wurde die Jacke selten getragen . Als er sie im Winter tragen wollte haben wir mit Schrecken feststellen müssen dass an den seitlichen Taschen die Daunen in großer Menge raus rieseln. Die Taschen sind mit "heißer Nadel " zugeklebt ...und da kommen die Daunen raus ! Die Reklamation brachte nichts . Da wir keine Quittung mehr hatten ( wer bewahrt schon jede Quittung ?) wurden wir nach zahlreichen Mails und Beweisphotos abgewiesen ! Fazit : ZEGNA KEINE KAUFOPTION !!!

Impossible to buy from them

I had a very poor shopping experience. The website was incredibly slow, and after spending a considerable amount of time selecting items, I was ready to place an order worth 6,500 Euro. However, I was met with an error message: 'Bad Request - Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Needless to say I didn't buy anything. It's hard to understand how a luxury brand is unable to find competent IT staff.

Special service

Very impressed with the service.

I bought a couple of pairs of shoes from the store in Bond Street back in July 22 and the fabric on one of the pairs started to fray.
I took them back to the store after Christmas & Hamid (who sold me the shoes originally) replaced them for me no problem.

Whenever we shop at Zegna in Bond Street, Hamid always makes us feel special.

Cap purchase

Bought a cap from a store in Venice, poorly made waste of money, the colour from the leather has run into material but Zegna have said it’s tough it has been exposed to moisture/water. Apologies for living in England where the weather changes from morning to afternoon ha!

Unglaublich!

Die bestellten Brillen wurden zwischenzeitlich aus dem Webshop entfernt, weil sie nicht lieferbar seien.

Wenige Tage später wurden die Sonnenbrillen wieder zum Verkauf angeboten. Ich dachte, es hätte eine Nachlieferung gegeben oder eine Retoure. Also bestellte ich dieses Mal erneut eine schwarze Sonnenbrille. Ich erhielt jedoch erneut eine Stornierungsmitteilung, weil die Sonnenbrille (unverändert) nicht lieferbar sei.

Ein Verkäufer aus der Hamburger Zegna-Filiale meinte, dass er ggf. die Sonnenbrille aus der Schweiz in die Filiale kommen lassen könne und wollte sich melden. Bis heute habe ich auch keinen Anruf aus der Filiale Hamburg erhalten.
