In October 2022 I took delivery of a pair of glasses sold by Boots with pretty heavyweight Ermenegildo Zegna frames (my sight is poor and I require varifocal lenses). On Saturday morning I woke to discover that the internal mechanism connecting the handles to the main part of the glasses had broken through no fault of my own. Neither Boots nor Zegna's customer care division have indicated the slightest willingness to take responsibility for this fault or offered me any compensation. This is clearly a fault in manufacture and probably due to Zegna's readiness to franchise their products to sub-standard operations.

Poor customer service. I have been waiting for refund for more than a month now. It has bben full 1 month when return was received by their warehouse. Despite chasing several times, they are not doing anything.

Ich habe Mitte Dezember 2021 als Weihnachtsgeschenk für meinen Vater ein Einstecktuch bei Zegna online bestellt.

Dieses kam leider nie bei mir an, da DHL die Lieferung ohne Absprache einfach im Hausflur liegen lies, als ich nicht Zuhause war.

Daraufhin kontaktierte ich den Kundenservice, die Situation wurde geprüft und eben auch aufgeklärt - wie oben beschrieben. Eine Rückmeldung und Lösung der Situation wurde angekündigt. Dann hat sich 1 Monat niemand gemeldet.

Also kontaktierte ich erneut den Kundenservice. Die vorherige Servicelkraft war nicht mehr da, deshalb ist mein Anliegen untergegangen. Kann ich noch nachvollziehen.

Mein Fall wurde erneut geprüft.
Dann wurde mir gesagt, dass ich mein Geld erstattet bekomme, in 3-5 Werktagen.

Ich warte nun schon wieder seit einem Monat auf meine Rückerstattung.

Zwischendurch habe ich WIEDER eine Email an Zegna geschrieben und gefragt wo die Rückzahlung bleibt.
Mir wurde ein Update versprochen.
Das kam bis heute nicht.
Meine Bestellung ist über 3 Monate (!!!!) her.

Ich bin langsam so frustriert.
Ich habe wirklich Dutzende E-Mails und Telefonate mit Servicemitarbeitern bei Zegna geführt (die übrigens immer sehr nett sind).
Ich hoffe dass meine Rückerstattung noch irgendwann eintrifft.
Nächste Woche versuche ich dann erneut anzurufen… ich hoffe diese Bewertung bringt irgendwas in Gange.

Very disappointed to see they are now manufacturing their chinos in Romania
Paid $650 for chinos, expect them to be a part of the legacy production, not some cost cutting I bet is part of their new initiatives as a stock exchange listed company. I can see what pressure they are under to reduce costs for shareholder value. What they are missing is that this will kill value over the long term as people will realise you can’t charge $650 for a pair of cotton chinos made in a newly established factory in cheap labour country
I have bought Zegna for years but will think twice now when I see big prices for things being made cost efficiently
