I started a new policy with yourselfs , I had another van with 10 years no claims, you sent me a horrible letter saying you wanted proof of no claims or policy would be more than 3 times the premium I signed up for.z my current insurer won’t let me have a proof as policy is still running I have no choice but cancel not happy at all

Bough a car
Bough a car, paid first instalment of monthly car insurance with Zenith and though it's all done. Now sending me some letters to provide photo of my Driving License ? Saying that my insurer Tradex has requested it ? I don't have any contract with Tradex, nothing commercial in my policy. Looking how to cancel Policy and find some normal company.

Cheaper that other insurers and modern self-serve portal
Found Zenith through Go Compare and they offered a really decent price compared to other providers + I added no claims discount protection and guaranteed replacement car add-ons as it was worth it.
Their online portal is actually really modern, whereas their main website could do with a refresh IMO.
Seems like good service so far.

No 14 day cool off on an unissued insurance bought online
Took out a car policy with an annual premium and before the policy started I phoned to say I am moving down the road and wish to change my address. I was told that would be an additional £228 which was an increase of nearly 40 percent!! As I was within the 14 day cool off period and the money had not yet been taken from my account I asked for the policy to be cancelled. I was told that this would cost £30 which I felt was not right as the policy had not been issued. Zenith had not yet even asked for a copy of licences. I have phoned them three times now. They have had my money for 11 days and on checking today why I have not been refunded I was told it will be another 7 working days which makes more than two weeks I haven’t had my money which I need for another policy. THIS IS DO WRONG.
