Scam insurance and unprofessional.
"In January 2025, a claim was wrongfully registered against my record, despite the fact that I have never been involved in an accident in my entire driving history. This error occurred even before I signed a contract with my current insurance provider. Despite providing official documentation from both my previous and current insurers explicitly proving a clean driving record—including a statement confirming no claims for 2024, 2025, and 2026—they refuse to acknowledge the mistake or refund the overcharged premium. This company is highly unprofessional and fraudulent. Save yourself the trouble and never buy insurance from them."

I would have given 5 stares if it hadn't been for my bank refusing to action my payment and neither part telling me until I was told a 'late payment' charge had been added.

I was auto renewal but did not get…Auto renewal notification missing
I was auto renewal but did not get confirmation notification prior to date which is usual. two days before expiry i receive email saying insurance will expire in two day offering me chance to get a quote. This was weekend so bit of panic. When i eventually contacted RAC to get quote i was told i am auto renew. very stressful day !!!

STRAIGHT FORWARD INSURANCE IN A NO-NONSENSE FORMAT
The RAC insurance website is easy to navigate and most of the information similarly understandable. The features of the cover selected are easily reviewed in a summary table and the available add-ons similarly set out so you can 'fine tune' cover to your requirements. The only reason for not awarding 5 stars is that the certificate of insurance is a separate document that is not loaded into your on-line documents for up to 7 or 8 days later, even though your policy statement etc is available after purchase and the certificate is effectively a compilation of the key points of your policy statement/summary. I was baffled as to why I could not access my certificate of insurance along with the policy statement; it is a legal requirement and you could be asked to produce it the very next day. They do not issue a cover note to bridge the gap and there is no information or warning that the certificate of insurance can be isdsued up to 7 or 8 days after the other documents. Even stranger, when I phoned up to query the apparent omission (because there is no warning about possible delays) I was provided with the certificate within an hour, so the information was obviously available in a format that could be 'cut and pasted' into the certificate framework. Very odd and the first time in many years that the certificate was not avaiable by the time I got around to checking my policy details were correct.
