Enrolling in the Law Exam Strategy course with The Australian College of Law and Justice was one of the best decisions I've made! It helped me recognise the barriers that were holding me back from achieving my full potential and gave me so many practical suggestions for my law study and career. At first I wasn't sure about signing up for the course because, as a fourth year law student, I though I would know most things about Law School already -but I really learnt new tips and strategies and feel more motivated than ever. My only regret is that I didn't discover this course sooner.

The ACLJ Law Exam Strategy Course has helped me so much! I am a Juris Doctor student and I started law at the beginning of this year but never did as well in my exams or assessments as I thought or hoped I would. I would ask my professors for help but they always said they were too busy and couldn't give me special attention as that would be unfair. Before I enrolled I would over-prepare for my exams out of stress, but barely ever saw that translate into better results. With the tips and strategies in this course I realised that I had been approaching Law School the same as I approached HighSchool, which doesn't work. The course gave heaps of clear examples of how to apply and meet law marking criteria, how to address learning expectations in different types of law assessments, and how to build the right attitude learning expectations in different types of law assessments, and how to build the right attitude, approach and networks for a strong career. I am a Juris Doctor student, and am pretty busy with lots of personal commitments. Before taking this course I felt I understood a lot of the material of my law course but it never really showed in my marks. It was easy to get a pass, and sometimes even a Credit, but I never knew how to get a Distinction or High Distinction even though I was used to that in my other non-law subjects. I also worried a lot about comparing myself to my peers and other law students and had fears about my future career that I hadn't really reflected on or learnt to manage. This course gave me a full range of techniques and strategies to meet law marking criteria and law assessment rubrics to improve my results, as well as improve my emotional responses to my experience in Law School and expectations for my future. I can't thank The ACLJ enough for this life-changing course and highly recommend it to all Australian law students.

Before taking this course from The ACLJ I had so much stress about Law School, but weirdly I didn't even realise I had it. I have spent four years working really hard at university and the material in this course gave me so much a more balanced and healthy life and career.
