Generally happy with the quality of their product. Professional, experienced, amiable guides.

However there was a mess up on my MB climb with the refuge booking. I was far from impressed with this, and hence the lower rating.

The 11-day TMB experience was perfect. Our guide, Rob, was incredibly attentive from the very first minute. He was meticulous about every detail and every participant, highly attuned to the group's needs, and possessed a great sense of humor and deep knowledge of the terrain. He ensured an excellent experience. All logistics, mountain huts, and hotels were perfect; I wouldn't change a thing. They exceeded my expectations, and we were even blessed with perfect weather. I couldn't have made a better choice for my TMB trip.

I went on a 10 day Alta Via 1 Dolomites Hiking Trip with Adventure Base in July 2026. It was fabulous. The mountain guide Cecilia was outstanding and an amazing professional. She is one of the best in the Alps. Since she is Italian, it made our stay in the Rifugio (Mountain Huts) very smooth and peaceful. Adventure Base ensured that the Hotels, Rifugio, Food, Taxi & everything was meticulously planned so that all that we need to worry was to hike. They also managed to get the best Rifugios on the trail which usually is sold out quickly. So happy with the Choice. Planning to do Haute Route with Adventure Base next Summer.

Seamless organisation and a friendly team made the whole experience perfect. A great work up around the Aiguille du Midi and Refugio Torino was the perfect preparation with David our guide. I'd like to say Adventure Base even sort excellent weather for the summit day but that would be a stretch 😁. Thanks for another memorable trip.

Loved our guide, Rob! Inspired the team and took care of each of us. The TMB is, of course, awesome. Pretty good accommodations apart from Refugio Elena, which many consider a part of the experience (I could hard pass) but, at any rate, is not Adventure Bases’s fault. Price is reasonable when you count up all you get. Good communication. Would book with them again for sure!

I am very happy with Adventure Base for planning my Tour du Mont Blanc self guided trek. They took care of booking all the accommodations and the logistics. The navigation app they provided was a life saver! All I had to do was show up! I had an amazing experience!

It was great! I was hesitant on which company to choose for the Mont Blanc summit, and eventually chose Adventure Base because of their reviews, nice video’s and clear website guidance. No regrets!!

It started with a lovely stay at a beautiful chalet in Chamonix where we met Jack (thanks for making the food mate) as the host. Wonderfull place to stay. The summits itself were amazing with Lars (our guide). We made it to the Gran Paradiso on the 21st, and Mont Blanc on the 24th. We got lucky with the weather! Also, Jordi the second guide for Mont Blanc was a great guide with loads of expertise. They made our trip feel smooth, controlled and above all: safe. I was a solo on this and met 3 other awesome people at the trip that were also traveling solo.

Would recommend it to anyone! And sidenote: if you want to make it to the summit, please be well prepared with gear and fitness. This will greatly enhance your chances of seeing the summit with your own eyes!!

I had an incredible experience on Adventure Base’s Monte Rosa Spaghetti Tour. Everything was well organised from start to finish, and the trip exceeded my expectations.

We were fortunate enough to summit eight 4,000m peaks during the week (not including Parrotspitze or Pollux), which made for an unforgettable adventure. The itinerary was challenging but incredibly rewarding, with some spectacular alpine scenery throughout.

A huge thank you to our guides, Nacho and Alessandro. They were both extremely knowledgeable, professional and calm throughout the trip. They struck the perfect balance between keeping everyone safe, sharing their experience and creating a really enjoyable atmosphere within the group. Their encouragement and decision-making inspired confidence every step of the way.

I’d highly recommend Adventure Base to anyone looking to take on the Monte Rosa Spaghetti Tour or any alpine mountaineering trip. I came away with amazing memories, greater confidence in the mountains, and a real desire to come back for more.

We are so glad we chose to book our four-day Dolomites trip with Adventure Base. After spending a few days trying to contact refugios ourselves via email and receiving very limited replies, we realized it would be too much of a hassle to book this ourselves, and with our limited knowledge of hiking, let alone the Dolomites, we knew we needed extra help. Adventure Base was incredibly communicative throughout the booking process, gave us a really detailed itinerary, packing tips, clear directions on arriving to Cortina, and all in all made our trip super easy. We didn't have to stress at all with any of the route planning, which made it so much more fun, and we were super impressed with the quality of their app, which made navigating super easy. The customer service team was super helpful, and we were able to get on the phone with them very quickly while on the mountain for an itinerary question. I would definitely recommend working with Adventure Base on any more logistically complicated hiking trips.

We appreciate the friendly, responsive and helpful advice and assistance from Harriet, Madi and Leon. We were happy with the itinerary, it was well executed and the selection of accommodation was great, we had an enjoyable and fruitful hiking adventure!

Whilst the app provided (Roadbook for Discovery) was helpful, it could do with more improvement and information eg profile of hiking terrain, time/distance to specific points on the route, incorporating bus schedules etc.

Having zero knowledge about trekking in the Dolomites, hooking up with Adventure Base was the smartest thing we did! For our 4-Day Alta Via 1 adventure, they booked all the refugios, provided all of the information we needed, and gave us a schedule we were physically capable of and could fit into our limited time off. It all worked perfectly! The directions on how to take buses to the start of the trek were right on, the app that was supplied gave us a GPS track and step-by-step verbal instructions to keep us on the correct trail, and suggestions for things to do were fantastic! We did all the suggested activities and had a great adventure with each. Others we met on the trail asked for our help with their routes as they told us our route planning was better. All in all, a great experience made seamless by trusting Adventure Bases and relying on their experience!

Our experience with Adventure Base on our Tour Mont Blanc trip was perfect. Planning the trip was very easy and the team was extremely helpful throughout. While on the trip, Adventure Base was very responsive and when we did have a few hick-ups, they were very quick to address them. I will 100% use them again.

Great trip. The plan had to be altered slightly due to the conditions on the mountain but Adventure Base took care of everything to ensure we had accommodation and meals provided and made it stress free and straightforward for us.

Our guide, David Pujol, was amazing! Inspiring and knowledgable whilst also so patient and humble. Despite at times being well out of my comfort zone in completely trusted David as a leader and am glad he pushed me. And, who better to learn from than someone that's summitted five of the 8,000ers, four of them without supplemental oxygen.

I'm already begin the plans for my next trip!

I used Adventure Base for self-guided hiking trip in the Swiss and Italian Alps. (Grand Tour des Combins trek) The route had amazing views and I would recommend it anyone who is comfortable doing 20 km days with 1200 meters elevation gain.

The staff at Adventure Base was helpful and answered my emails when questions arose.

I am very pleased with my experience with Adventure Base. I chose the Grand Paradise & Mont Blanc adventure and it did not disappoint!
The comms pre trip were adequate and I received some detailed advice on equipment choices too.
Upon arrival at the Chamonix chalet I was greeted and hosted by the wonderful Britt who looked after us in fine style and kept us fueled with excellent breakfasts!
On the mountains our guides were Catalin and Nacho who kept us safe and the logistics running smoothly behind the scenes. This meant I could put all my energy and focus into summiting Mont Blanc. Overall I would recommend Adventure Base!

Fantastic well organized AV1 Dolomites hike. Guide (Cecilia) was fantastic. Very professional and great personality. Guide set a good pace that kept the group together and adjusted daily schedule when needed to minimize the impact of couple days of bad weather. I noticed on several occasions throughout the trek independent trekkers from outside our group sought advice from our guide which she provided to help them. Meals were very satisfying throughout the trip. Overall a great mountain trekking experience. Stunning scenery every day! One suggestion I would make is a bit earlier communication from AB on where to meet (Cortina vs Dobbiaco) and which hotel was booked for the group would have been appreciated. AB did rapidly respond to any questions. I would happily book another trek with AB.
