This is solely for Wilton . Rude ,arrogant manger. No management skills.

This is solely for Wilton store.
Called in this morning.
Went to checkout and girl said she was closing.
No bother.
Went to next till.
Seen an elderly man not steady on his feet put an item on belt.
Assistant told him she was closing.
I left elderly man go ahead of me.
He was clearly struggling.
A woman approached till that was apparently closing and was left pile shopping up without a bother!!
Normally I wouldn't say anything but looking an the elderly man after been turned away.
I felt bad for him.
When assistant was finished.
I went over and said quietly that it wasn't a nice thing she did.
Refusing me and especially the elderly man and excepting a woman.
I said this was ageism and sexiest.
She turned and answered 'SO'
Turned her back on me.
I asked to speak to manger.
Turns out she was manger
I asked for name.
She covered her badge and wouldn't give it.
If this store is been managed by this woman.
God help the other staff.
She clearly had no empathy for the elderly and Disabled.
I certainly won't be returning to this store.

Staff in the Castlebar shop excellent

Staff in the Castlebar shop are excellent. I was disappointed with the range of organic produce or lack of it. At the till I scored it poor but meant the experience not the staff as they are excellent.

Lidl over Aldi all day

I didn’t get a spoon in my yoghurt pot and the digestives tasted off and I was disappointed to discover there was no bakery in the shop. Over all a bad experience. I can confidently say I’m a Lidl girl now. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

3.5 is a true rating.

Usually fairly high quality and definitely one of the most affordable options in recent times with the cost of living skyrocketing.

Sometimes you have to search through produce to find ones that won’t go off in a day or two. Staff at my location are always very friendly too

I shop regularly at Mulhuddart Aldi…

I shop regularly at Mulhuddart Aldi store, with the cost of living I buy items that are on the 30% or 50% discount when I see something that interests me to buy, most of the times at the till staff either they don't do the discount or the products that are 50% off they will just do the 30%, so I now always check my receipt before leaving the store and then if they charge me wrong I will come back to the same till to show them and get back the money they charged extra, but this makes me very ungry because I know they do it in purppose, it seems like they are trained to do that and it's not fear! why we as customers have to tolerate this?? the owners of these stores are billioners! and they want to get more billions stealing in that way from us! Always check your receipts before leaving the stores! And I forgot to mention, many items or no price on display or wrong price!

Very disappointed with Aldi

Very disappointed with Aldi. I went to Aldi Rivervalley Swords, Dublin , Ireland on 14 th September and when I was paying my groceries they had an issue with the system and they ended up charging me twice.

I’d showed my bank statement to the cashier and they said it would be back in maximum 2 days to my account. Next day, I went there to talk with the manager and the manager said I had to call my bank AIB. My bank verified that Aldi had charged me twice and they should be refunded it.

I have with me the number of the transactions and time.

I went to buy there and I ended up with a problem to solve, Also they are holding my money for over 5 days.

I am really disappointed with the service in Aldi Rivervalley Swords.

TERRIBLE

I bought a lightway multifunction torch, the torch brightness is not as described on the box no where near as bright as 200 lumins. The so called magnetic base is described as 'strong' it doesn't even hold its own weight, useless is more to the point if you bend in the middle it falls over
Very disappointed !

Rude staff

I went into the shop with my daughter to get some treats for a movie at home and the staff was rude rushing us out of the store telling me no this is till Is closed it only got worse I was leaving the store and a lovely old man was going in to get some milk and the staff said to him leave now all he wanted was to get his liter of milk how dare they treat there customers like that my daughter was so upset to see this happen to such a lovely man just disgraceful. The old man had to leave.

Patrick from aldi finglas absolutely annoyed at the way I was treated by him he grunted and spike to me like I was a piece of crap and then the way he spoke to the staff was disgusting I'm shopping there years and he's working there a long time and he's very rude to all people

Bought peppered steaks last week and…

Bought peppered steaks last week and put them in the freezer. A few days later I defrosted them in the microwave and the security tag went on fire people should be warned there's foil on the back of the tag I was lucky I only lost a microwave and not the house

"killeely" low cholesterol spread

I bought the "Kilkeely" low cholesterol butter spread. Found the product went mouldy before best before date ( i.e. 3 months) but once the spread is opened it only last about 4 weeks ( as it says on the pack tbf), as I'm the only one that eats it in our house, it would never last, so don't bother buying if its only for one person, its tastes pretty bland too!!

Aldi...ripping people off

I've shopped in aldi from the first day they opened in Limerick city..
As of now my time shopping in aldi is done ..I feel aldi are the most expensive shops out there now. over the period of 3 weeks we shopped in most stores like dunnes,lidl,tescos.etc..aldi are the most expensive...fact..I've no loyalty anymore to aldi for ripping people off..shame on you aldi..

Avoid buying the special buy Aldi solar…

Avoid buying the special buy Aldi solar products, flimsy, cheap plastic pieces of garbage that don’t work or will break after short time periods. I bought three different solar products- all the same.

Aldi used to be a good shop, unfortunately they are going down hill. I also notice product price rise every week despite their energy costs decreasing - greedflation - shrinkflation 👎🏻

I started shopping in Aldi about a year…

I started shopping in Aldi about a year ago. I have noticed huge increases week on week. 500g tub of yogurt is increasing weekly and is now 2.39. Same size product in super value is 1.49. Apples are about 55c each but says on shelf it’s 2 euro for 5. This is not the case at the till. There’s other examples too. I am away from Aldi from this week

Weekly email has false information.

I received the weekly email with special buys. I went to three different stores and each time I was told the item in the leaflet had not been available because they did not get any. Not that they were sold out but that they never got any stock! What is the point in telling customers that there are items on special buy promotion and then not having them. I will not be shopping in Aldi again. They are a con and in breach of advertising regulations. Customer services only give the usual reply that they do not know which stores have which items. Then stop tellilng people in the weekly leaflet that items are going to be available when they are not. I will also now be returning the batteries I bought in expectation of this item coming in.

Prices

Shopping in Aldi for at least ten years now go nowhere else, but have really noticed how much more expensive it has become . People/friends and family all recommend going to dunnes now but I'm a creature of habit ,would like to stay shopping in Aldi unfortunately this might not be possible if ur prices don't go down

Terrible customer service

Donore Road Drogheda store, I had paid for my shopping plus I topped up a gift card with €20, I had left the store when the employee came out after me and asked me to return inside which I did. The customer behind me had been charged for my €20 gift card top up as had I. The employee asked another employee for help who didn’t understand the issue and had a loaded till so had to go, he then asked the store manager, a woman for help. She didn’t understand what had happened either, by this time all three store employees had swiped my gift card and the €20 hadn’t gone onto it and none of the three knew why. The manager spoke while looking at me and when I answered her she said “I’m not speaking to you”. The second employee returned and stated that as the card was a gift card then it couldn’t be topped up, on reading the information on the back of the card she admitted that this wasn’t stated anywhere on the card. I was delayed in store by over 30 minutes and eventually I got a refund for the €20. I rang Aldi customer service which is based in South Africa, the lady I spoke to rang the store to speak with the manager about the manner in which I was spoken to and was told she wasn’t available so she spoke with a person who said they were the assistant store manager and the matter had been dealt with in store. At no point did this person give their name nor were they asked for it. The dealing with it in store consisted of me being treated as if I was at fault, being spoken to in a rude manner but because I got my refund then that’s ok. Aldi will hold an internal review but I won’t be told the outcome. I was also told I could be waiting up to 4 hours for a call back from a customer service manager who would only give her first name due to GDPR yet the first thing I had to do on the call was give my full name as I am the customer, maybe Aldi should remember what a customer is. Disgraceful behaviour and total lack of customer service, the first lady I spoke to in customer service told me I was being “difficult”.

One of whorst shops i have seen, products i got home half where unsusable whent in bin... and when i looked it was not any cheeper then buying actual products in other shops... i left them pictures on goggle and nice long rewiev.
