Do NOT buy their frying pans

Do NOT buy their frying pans. They are the worst I’ve ever used. The actual pan burns after one use. And doesn’t cook your food properly. Leaves it raw one end and burnt the other.

Shocking

Shocking, taking customers for fools.
I asked my husband to get me some flowers, he forwarded a photo of what was available, the photo looked OK and I went on past experience, pleased with my purchases. Overpriced rubbish, at least twice the price, a so called bouquet was a joke a thin bunch of non de scripts, tulips the size of buds , skimpy lilies in another bunch, all truly pathetic, ..tulips circa 10 euros, bouquet around 10 euros, lilies circa 6 euros. Tried chat, forget it, not permitted to express my dissatisfaction, couldn’t make any statement had to go along with the dictatorial chat line, while I am at it, half of fruit and veg over a long period of time are rotten…

I went for shopping I'm Enistimon Aldi and I took loose water still water one bottle her name is Eileen young one she's always extremely ride with me she charge me for 6 bottles didn't explain.That she's charge me full prise and smile at me I call the meneger he didn't say anything and blame me that I did t see for all 6 bottles I didn't know that today is Sunday and it was very shocking to me.Pleas train your staff manners we bring u money .

Meat and dairy don’t make it even close to the Best before dates

Yoghurt Skyr best before date 2 weeks from now… we look at the 3 bags today in the fridge: all blown up ready to explode and when opened really stanky fermented smell. Tried one and it was so sour. No way I can give this to my daughter. Wouldn’t even chance it myself. It’s not the first time I notice an issue with the best before date with those yoghurts and I’m tired on wasting money! Already had to throw away mince meat twice also and the last one I bought I remembered to eat it 3 days before the date and it was already a bit smelly. Aldi is saving on fridge costs or something is wrong in their logistics or storage process. For sure! And I’m sick of it. This doesn’t happen with other stores like Lidl or Tesco. Quite the opposite actually I can keep Lidl Hummus past the expiry date no problem. And Tesco chicken or milk is fine up to the date. Their display is the same so it has to do with either the temperature inside or the coolers out back. Regarless of why, it is officially not safe to buy fresh produce at Aldi!

Used to go to Aldi in Killarney all the…

Used to go to Aldi in Killarney all the time but I will be using it less and less from now on. Some non English speaking staff are not nice to local customers. Also on my last 3 visits I had issues with my change. I don't trust them anymore you really would want to check your change.

Rude staff time & time again with little or no English...

The Aldi stores in Naas staff ONLY speak in non English languages to each other, certain customers yet when it comes to speak to customers in english/irish speaking language they are rude, bark orders or completely mute. I don't bother going there anymore as it discrimates against English speaking customers making them feel most unwelcome!

I've been shopping in Aldi for many years

I've been shopping in Aldi, Clane, Kildare for a few years now. I was buying Brannans sausages and rashers. The sausages were so bad and disgusting I actually threw them out - I have 2 dogs and wouldn't even give them to my dogs. Worse still are their bacon rashers which are literally like leather - absolutely dreadful food and I wonder if or how they have their products passed as fit for human consumption.

Can't give lower than 1 star. Had a terrible experience at the checkout with what looked like a manager giving an obvious new trainee a really hard time. She was giving out that he wasn't fast enough, then because he was trying to speed up, he made a mistake and she really let him have it then. Really tasteless and poor management skills from her. If you really need to give criticism, bring the person somewhere where nobody, especially customers can hear. The poor lad was stressed. Both myself and the customer in front gave some words of encouragement while the lady behind me gave out to the manager who duly told the woman that it was her employee and she needed to mind her own business. I should have left my groceries there and walked out. That is my only regret. Haven't been back since

What can I say if you want mouldy…

What can I say if you want mouldy products go here. My most recent aldi mould purchase was soup yea mouldy soup. A week before it was mouldy wraps. A few months before that it was gone off apple turnovers from grainne's bakery they tasted like a cleaning chemical had been mixed with it. Customer service is a waste of time.

Disappointed

Went to Aldi Ballyfermot for Christmas shopping and was saving on there saving card €10 a week for the last 11 weeks got to the till and was told that there was no money on the card but was told last week there was €110 , I spend an average of €200 euro every week in the shop and today nearly €400 , Was told this has happened before but it was blamed on the customer, Manager very rude and unhelpful, He told me I used the money but when I explained I always pay for my weekly shopping first before I add money to my card and would notice if I used it , Will not be shopping in Aldi again they loose €800 a month customer because a staff member couldn’t use the card correctly and obviously the declined the card ,

Had a problem finding stock at the Ashbourne store today. Anke was operating the till furthest from the front door and immediately went and sorted out the problem in a couple of minutes. She was helpful, friendly and is a credit to your organisation. We'll done and thank you Anke.

Wasting my money

I have said it so many time but I'm done now with buying fruit out of Aldi's, bought a bag of lemons, 6 Bananas a bag of onions, and a turnip,within 2 days of buying them, 2 out of the 4 lemons were gone off and the other 2 had hardly any juice, I got 3 Bananas that were OK to eat because they were eaten on the same day the next day they rest went in the bin because they were black when I opened them, 1 of the onions out of the 3 in the pack was brown all the way trough as for the turnip just rotten in the middle, wast of money buying fruit and veg in Aldi's so finished with buying it from here, don't know where they get their fruit and veg from but it looks like they buy it all when it's almost out of date,

Be very careful everybody,, bean and sausage pastries priced at 1.59 down to 79cent,,,they are going in at full price absolutely getting ripped off, be very careful also on some other products this has happened in the past, bananas at 99cent charged 1.59 no reduction at end receipt,, very careful check you receipt before leaving tills for your reductions,,, very bad

Aldi prides itself on its Customer service or so it says but I found it non existent .
To be fair I have been shopping in Aldi since it opened here in Gorey and always found shopping there easy enough. The groceries are excellent and some of the middle isle goods can be great value and some unusual and yet again some total rubbish. one of the latter was a Ferrex chain saw I bought two years ago but used very seldom so earlier this year I took it out to do some work but it failed to start, I gave up trying after two days. The warranty card supplied an after sales support which I telephoned and I was informed that I should telephone the customer service number on the original receipt which I did immediately and that is when the fun started - the person who answered the phone may have been from another planet for all I know but I could not understand one word the girl said, I have no idea where this person was from or what language she was speaking and I can hear perfectly well over the phone, and as we were getting nowhere she hung up on me, I phoned again and this time I spoke to very nice English speaking girl who, after hearing my tale of woe informed me I would have a reply back from an agent in forty eight hours and she gave me a code number, that was on the 6th June. On the 7th June I got an email thanking me for contacting their " EverydayAmazing team " and some one would be back to me within 24 hours. Well I contacted them again on the 6thJuly as I hadn't heard anything since the last mail and what happened, yes you guessed right, nothing from the EverydayAmazing team nor anyone else. I've given up and the everydayamazing Ferrex chainsaw will be delivered to the recycling centre. Lesson learnt I will not be buying anymore garden equipment from Aldi.

Aldi in drogheda in the Retail park ,is like a turn style gate I never seen so many staff changes ,all staff seem to be very nice ,but the manger is a different story,
God I could not get over the way he spoke to his staff if front of costumers ,{think his name was Tomas}
The poor girl was nearly in tears,
if that's the way Aldi trains there mangers ,I can see a greater turn over of staff,
I have since stopped shopping in Aldi,

Purchased skellig Bay prawn…

Purchased skellig Bay prawn cocktail….plenty of shrimp but they were absolutely awful….they were tough and grainy… Now deciding if they can be disguised in a sandwich…or bin them!….it will probably be the latter…so disappointed……
