I'm very pleased with the bike, still trying to get used to it before going on the open road, what I think is missing is a manual, giving a general maintenance schedule, like tyre pressures and general care of the machine

I bought an Alpine Electric Explorer Trike to help with local shopping and general short trips as I live in a rural area poorly served with public transport. The trike is lovely and just what I need, I am not the quickest at learning the skills required to master the magnificent machine. How very glad I was that I had it delivered in person by Steve his patience and calm nature were so impressive, as he spent and hour and a half helping me to develop the skills required to ride the trike,for without his encouragment I think I would have given up straight away. He assured me that a short practise daily was required to build up skills and confidence and not to attempt a longer journey before I had achieved both. How right he was and it is paying off. It is going to be lovely way to travel around this summer. I spent 18 months researching which trike to buy and from whom. I am so glad that I bought my trike from Alpine Electric Bikes they understand that each customer is an individual and that customer service is important. The bike is well built and beautifully finished a real pleasure to use. Personally I would recommend Alpine Electric Bikes everytime and have passed on the companies details to people who have expressed an interest in the trike. A lovely company to deal with who take a pride in the product they produce and the service they provide. A great big thank you

Excellent service, delivered on time and as promised. The trike is a joy and has improved my life immeasurably, it took a little getting used to but within a few hours I was fully confident and enjoying an easy ride.

Nice Trike fast delivery Steve is a friendly person and spent time going over everything on the Trike which is OK but if you forget something there is no guide to look over for the price of the Trike you think you would get on. Steve did say on the delivery day that he would email it over a week later still waiting. The charger he gave me did not work but 2 days later he brought me one over. The Trike itself could do with a few more gears 3 is not enough. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because how nice Steve was..

I bought an Alpine Tilt Trike, and although I have only had it for a week, I am very happy with the design and build quality. The service provided was excellent including the briefing and the " view before you buy " was especially welcome, because I am disabled and needed to see it before making a committment.

A friendly service who cannot do enough to help you before and after purchase,

Ordered the bike and received it within 2 weeks.. delivery was prompt and they arrived roughly when they said they would (within 1hr of delivery time) Was shown the basics of how the bike works and the guy was friendly and helpful. I havent ridden the bike yet so cannot comment on that but first impressions are good.

EDIT: I used this bike today on the 24/12/21 and was cycling on the pavement, i felt a shudder and the rubber on the back wheel separated from the wheel frame lurching me towards traffic, to say i am wary about riding this product after it is fixed is an understatement. I have contacted the company to try and resolve this issue and hopefully get a refund but as it is Christmas Eve it no doubt take a few days to sort out. I hope this is just a one off issue and no one else is having these problems.

Edit the trouble is that you are unable to touch the bike to check if it is a puncture as that can then void the warranty if there is evidence of you removing parts of the bike, so i had no idea it was a puncture until i slowly wheeled it to halfords to get it checked, this information is new and the commenter knows this, i got the bike checked last week 11th Jan.. Also the parts the company give you do not fit so you will need your own spanners to get the wheel off.. Also to get the wheel off from what Halfords could tell is you need to do a hell of a lot of disassembling (i.e taking the basket off the back)
The commenter should also be aware that they did not return my phone call that i left on the 24/12/21 as well as reply to my email that i sent on the 24/12/21, now i dont expect a email straight away over xmas but 3 weeks on have heard nothing.. I believe that since i sent the email within 28 days of the delivery date and 14 days of the delivery date that i am entitled to get my money back as it is short term right to reject the product? Until i get some clarity on this issue then the rating stays the same.. I am willing to alter this rating if things can be discussed via phone or email..

Edit.. i upgraded it to 3 stars the bike is decent but the customer service if you have an issue is suspect

Good service, calling when they said they would.
Only problem wa they never told me about a delivery charge. They gave me my deposit refund, then hit me for a delivery charge of £50.00 which I guess I should have expected especially as they come from Leicester. It’s just it was never mentioned. Trike is more difficult to ride than I expected to. But trike is as shown and a good piece of kit. Well made. Received emails of instruction manuals on the day of delivery. They are very good at explaining how to use.

Steve delivered my trike and explained everything to me about the trike and watched when I did a couple of test rides. He was very patient and, a wonderful teacher, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Steve for all your help.

Have not had much chance to use the trike as weather not great had a few goes in the park and I am now getting the hang of it The trke is sturdy I like the look of it ONE THING I would like to know is HOW MUCH PRESURE do you put in the Tyres

I love this trike much and it does help a lot when I have no car currently and need to go marketing.
Stephen is a very nice guy and his service is exceptionally good. He makes sure that I can fully understand how to control the trike before he leaves. I will order this trike again when my siblings arrived in the UK. Thank you so much Stephen.

ive given 5 * because steve and the company were excellant. cannot fault the service all the way through from ordering to delivering and between. i was given a time for delivery and the van and steve arrived on the time specified. steve was there an hour explaining all about how the bike works, the best way to use the trike. he made sure everything was to size for me. if you want an electric trike ALPINE ELECTRIC BIKES are the people to go to. i cannot fault the trike or the company. many thanks steve and company

Do not order from Alpine Electric Bikes. I contacted them via email on 10/12 to ask questions. My questions about the return policy were ignored. I received an invoice on 10/21 and paid in full. On 10/26 I was given a delivery ETA of 11/2 to Virginia, USA. I asked again about the confusing return policy and Steven T. attempted to assure me that I wouldn't want to return it and finally on 11/1 said if I did not want the trike I should not open the box, and return it to them, and if I ride the trike (which would show on the odometer) it is not returnable. I replied that that is not consistant with the information on the website, which suggests a 2 week return period and adjusted refund based on mileage; I did not receive a response (the return policy on the Shop App is different as well!) I never received a notification that the trike had shipped and the Shop App does not list a tracking number. I emailed Alpine stating my concern that the trike had been lost or stolen in transit. Steven copied me on an email to WSI which stated it was supossed to ship and arrive 11/2 and that a new ETA would be provided. On 11/7 I responded to Alpine that I was canceling the order due to lost faith in their company- poor Trust Piolt reviews that echoed my experience, incoherrant return policy, and lack of shipment. The customer service experience is poor. Steven said he had "been on vacation for a few days" which does not explain why he accepted payment but did not provide clear return info, nor clear shipping and tracking info. The response from Alpine was that the trike would be shipped and an ETA would be provided. I responeded to them and WSI immediately stating clearly again that the order is canceled, no tracking # or new ETA has been given, and I will not pay for any shipping fees. I am now going to contact my credit card company and persue a full refund from Alpine.

After a few emails back and forth we managed to sort out my faulty bike which is now working fine. I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of buying an Electric Bike.
