I’m a startup but I also have a day job so having a professional service to answer my calls gives a much better first impression to potential clients. Its pay as you go so I can always stay on my limited budget and I can choose between AI and real receptionists - I prefer real receptionists but good to know it’s there as an option! Sign up was easy and the team are always helpful if I have a query - so far so good!

I have been using Answer.co.uk for quite a number of years and have found them to be very user friendly, civilised and professional with their call answering service, which is reflected in some good feedback from my clients and business associates, who prefer to speak to and leave a message with an actual person, as opposed to merely leaving a voicemail.

Most of our calls are spam calls which do not originate from our number. They need to do something to know the difference between a scammer calling or a valid diverted call.
Answer only refunds TWO cold sales calls, Jesus, that's what we need in just ONE DAY!!

for three days now i have made a call each day with a complaint and all I get is we will pass this on and someone will return your call today . no call and no one apart from a note taker to speak to . I don't know how ma compony specializing in answering calls can run like this

We use their AI receptionist. The tech is fantastic and can answer any questions required. It plugs in to your website so knows everything about your business. You can also add other details in their portal. Rebecca helped with our onboarding and was really helpful.

Finally, a company that gets it! I needed a virtual receptionist service for my growing business and was dreading the usual rigmarole of lengthy sales calls and endless back-and-forth. Answer.co.uk completely surprised me.
The entire onboarding process took literally minutes - not days or weeks like I've experienced elsewhere. I have been with Answer for several years now. I do not receive many calls but when there is an enquiry to my business I am sent a text and e-mail straight away and I can then ring the person straight back.
Each time I have rung to keep the service active or to speak to someone, the person introducing my company has always sounded professional and, at all times of day, evening and weekend, even Bank Holidays, the phone is answered quickly and professionally. It also only costs me less than £40 per year as I do not have many calls, but it is well worth it because I never miss a call.

Agents are likely incentivised to dawdle on calls by their management to drive up billing - the only time we pay £1.75 per call is if the caller hangs up - otherwise it's between 2x and 4x that cost per call on average and that's with instructions to keep calls short and not put callers on hold. If you don't want to pay a fortune per call, look elsewhere.

I have used Answer.co.uk for several years now and never had an issue. As a sole trader, I often cannot answer the phone due to working with my clients and having someone from Answer.co.uk means I can call them when free. It also helps me filter out the spam calls that just waste my precious time. The calls are answered professionally and promptly and I receive details of the call via text and email. Highly recommended.

I was unsure at first as there were some less than flattering reviews but I’ve found the service to be really great! Friendly people and it’s pay as you go which makes things easy to budget which is important to us as a startup
