DO NOT buy a used vehicle from this business!!! My son bought a car 9 months ago from the Leamington branch and the sales person kept banging on about peace of mind with the warranty, it’s just gone in with gearbox issues to be told it could be this or it could be that, you’ll need to take it to a Ford dealer where they will be able to tell you for definite, my son then had to pay for diagnostic service that told us nothing and he will have to pay to have it done at a ford dealer, the customer service guy then said well I would have recommended that you take it to the main dealer if it’s after 6 months, thanks pal cos no one else did that we spoke to!! Had a couple of issues with it shortly after we bought it and it took best part of 2 months for them to sort and various visits!! 1 star because zero wasn’t an option! 👎

Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear about your experience. We always strive to provide the best service and will definitely look into this matter. I am aware you spoke with a manager who advised you on how the warranty process works. The terms of the Spoticar warranty we provide for free with our used cars includes that they could be taken to any garage in the UK for owner convenience, especially with a car not represented by our new car manufacturer brands. It will cover any necessary work that is included in the policy, and, diagnostic fees can be recovered once a fault is determined. This information is all in the booklet and terms we provide at point of handover.
I hope this helps you to get the specialist support needed from Ford to further investigate the issues, as they are better placed to carry out this kind of repair on their own product. If we can be of any assistance, or help direct you to the right type of repairer, or warranty claiming procedure then please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Urgent service department call about my car you have

My car Mrs Dewhurst Peugeot has been in with the service department since 1st July for diagnostic testing and is still currently with you. Me and my husband are having no luck whatsoever as ever since Casey and Tracey Oliver informed me by email what they think might be wrong with and quoting me a price. It was left as think about it and let them know if we want to go ahead or not or if we wanted technician to call us to explain more to let them know. I immediately replied to their email asking them to get technician to call my husband as he understands things better. We have both tried to get hold of the service department and nobody ever answers calls or returns messages. I have lost count how many emails have been sent back to Casey and Tracey marked urgent asking for someone higher up to call my husband but to today's date 25/07/25 not one person has called him or left him a message. Not one person has replied back to my emails and not one person has tried to call me back on my mobile.

We have lost all faith in Arbury peugeot in Lichfield and it seems like you either have no staff, no customer care skills whatsoever or have just shut shop.

Please please check your emails and have decency to reply back as soon you will have had my vehicle a month its an absolute joke.

Poor Customer Service

I have been using Arbury Peugeot Nuneaton for about 20 years now and have noticed in recent years the customer service has deteriorated significantly, I visited recently hoping to secure an agreement on another new vehicle, I was informed that the current vehicle I purchased from them 2 years ago had lost a significant amount and I was massively in negative equity, this seemed excessive , I asked if there was any movement and promised a call back which I didn't receive. I felt uncomfortable through the entire process, meanwhile I have been to another Peugeot dealership who offered me a deal which was better to the sum of more than £1000 and have ordered my new vehicle, personally I will not use this garage again and certainly wouldn't recommend and from personal experience would advise people to try elsewhere.

Recently purchased electric 208 GT, just wanted to share my experience overall very satisfied with the car, good communication and professionalism from some of the sales staff, david C who sold me the car went above and beyond throughout the whole process, he was very patient with myself as I work nights and I was able to pick up the car on a day that suited me, the car was clean and serviced on pick up. Overall very pleased with the service and car

Went to test the water with…

Went to test the water with affordability in buying a second hand car. Started with the Peugeot dealer near us and because we had previous (20 years ago)excellent experience with the dealership.
Don’t know what happened since. Prices are not displayed on cars, so no point in browsing around the extremely cramped forecourt. We were greeted nice enough but on an extremely hot afternoon were not offered a drink. We were shown three cars and given finance and purchase details on one of them. Not offered a test drive. We were then urged to reserve the car as the chances are that it would sell very quickly. When we said that that’s a chance we’ll have to take since we wanted a little more time to think about it, and shop around some more, the tone changed and we were told that their job was to sell cars and that we had wasted their time. Needless to say that we won’t paying them another visit nor recommend this particular franchise to anyone who asks.

Buying from Arbury was terrible experience

Service department is courteous, efficient helpful and entirely professional. Would be 5 stars.
Sales Department was throughout a terrible experience. All effort was on trying to sell extras and bully me into taking finance, no explanations about the car. Not even allowed to drive it. Salesman and Arbury parted company before the delivery date. A complete shambles.
Ever since I have been pestered by phone and email, not with apology or effort to put anything right, just to try and sell me another car. I have explained endless times that septegenarians don't trade in cars with 16,000 on the clock and requested no further pestering. My courteous replies and subsequently less courteous replies are simply ignored.
Threats of resorting to trustpilot have similarly been ignored.

Beware of Walsall branch

Beware of Walsall branch when purchasing your car. Once they have your money, that's it, if any issues, you will be ignored. Also double check your service book. They stamped my book showing a service had been completed in January, and this was confirmed by the seller, Matthew Green. I now have a message on my dashboard saying service due in 7 days. Turns out it wasn't serviced after all, I could have lost my full service history because of their ignorance. Reported this again, but no reply.
