Web site was easy to order from. Door was delivered on my driveway without signature (which was good). I called AH to verify that I received it and let them know it looked beautiful and to verify the contents/hardware. Have not installed yet, but I don't anticipate any problems (because I won't be the one installing it).

I installed my first set of bi-pass doors this weekend. I have installed somewhere around 25 doors in the past, but none of the bi-pass variety. The hardware is a bit more complex and time-consuming, but certainly within the capability of the average weekend warrior.
It's nice now to know that tight spaces like closet doors can get barn doors now too. And if you catch a sale, the price is quite manageable. I got my hardware during one of the 40% off sales.
Next up: a ceiling mount. That looks complex but we'll see.
I remain impressed with the quality and consistency of this hardware.

I needed some customized parts for barn doors that we were installing and I was able to get them, install them perfectly and the doors look and function wonderful. I will differently be using Artisan Hardware again.

I purchased non pre-drilled rail. I had solid backing so could drill holes anywhere. I used all of the lags and bushings supplies but once installed the soft close hardware wouldn’t work. The bolts were closer than required for hardware to work. Nothing in the instructions mentioned anything about minimum bolt spacing (they admitted that). Company did offer to replace bar or refund soft-close hardware but I would have had to repair and repaint holes/wall. I chose not to use soft-close hardware. Could have been avoided with better instructions.

I had very limited knowledge of exterior Barn Door Hardware until I called Artisan Hardware. The question was what would work best to get the look and operation I wanted for my 7 foot wide by 8 feet tall doors that I had a contractor fabricate for an outbuilding previously lacking doors on my property (that I always thought looked like a barn without doors). Ashley was extremely helpful in answering my questions and offering suggestions to help me to figure out what was best for my purchase. I ordered the hardware we discussed and received everything ordered about three days later (I live in Auburn California). The parts were installed by my contractor shortly thereafter. The look of your Vintage Strap hardware on my doors is absolutely beautiful, is exactly the look that I was seeking, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Ashley.

Very poor quality product. We ordered barn door hardware and in within months the paint had peeled off almost completely. The hardware is bolted in so trying to remove to return or to even have scraped and repainted will be a complete hassle. Now we're just living with it looking bad.
