Popped into Austin Guitars 'just to browse' yesterday. Told Reg what I already owned, what sort of thing I was looking for.
Brilliant advice, excellent customer service, the invitation to spend as long as I liked trying out as many guitars as I wanted.
Couldn't recommend them more highly. Fantastic range and a really friendly approach.

Picked up a secondhand goodie from Austin Guitars via Facebook Marketplace; Paul was super helpful, communicative and got it off to me the same day.

Reg was phenomenal, we arranged a deal and the guitar was with me in less than 24 hours delivered.

He kept me informed of everything even after working hours.

I ordered a TGI gigbag from Austin Guitars . Reg the owner, emailed to say that they were out of stock on the size I wanted but that he could supply a Jumbo size one for the same money or give me a refund . I chose to take the Jumbo which arrived a couple of days later . No increase in price ( which was extremely competitive anyway ) and free postage.
Absolutely first rate and very friendly service . Makes a nice change . I won't hesitate to use them again if I need anything .

Arrived well packed, perfectly set up and sounds incredible.
Was a little anxious about buying a used bass online without trying it first, but I needn't have worried!

Honestly these guys can’t help enough, truly been amazing experience each and every time I’ve been in there from making recommendations to even coming back to open the shop after hours just help out and go far and beyond, even the other day my guitar broke and phoned up after the shop had been closed for 1 hour and let me borrow one of there own guitars to complete my gigs with to get me by until mine was repaired, these are close, friendly, down to earth guys, I don’t need no big name company for my guitar accessories or guitars in general, they are always fair and never try take the micky out of anyone with prices and I am proud to have such an amazing guitar shop and staff close by local got pretty much everything you need, 100% worth giving these a little look in. So please go have a look your selves they are amazing I promise you. Much love

Disgraceful, I booked in my ibanez jem guitar as I fitted a new Floyd rose and was unable to set up the internation. Dropped it at the shop and waited for them to ring for me to collect three weeks went by and no communication, so I gave them a call. The owner said hasn't anyone phoned you, The guitar can not be tuned as the nek has been cut so the internation cannot be dune. I explained It was an after market neck, and the head was 3 in. to 6 in., so you could cut it to fit an Ibanez Gibson start. You get what I mean? I shaped it to fit my Ibanez, and I did a good job, too. Also, it had 27 frets, so you had the option to customise it to your requirements. They could see it had been cut at the 23rd fret. After several attempts and, at one point, waiting outside the shop, which never opened, I eventually collected my custom guitar. I brought with me the old neck it lined up perfectly with the one I fitted, I explained the history. He looked at me with a blank expression and said nothing. I think he was embarrassed. I got no apology. I did say i was not happy with his sevrice and i was going to say so on his sight he looked at me and said WALK ON not a nice man give this shop a miss Also, when he went to get my guitar for me, it was leaning against the wall by its neck with others leening on It not recomended, Nasty Man Mr Cullings.

For so long I looked for a white blonde fender vintera Stratocaster but couldn’t find one anywhere! Then all of a sudden one popped up on google pre owned from Austin guitars I went to purchase it but It had already been sold! :( I decided to email them and just ask if for some reason the sale fell through would they ring me and give me first refusal on it… 2 weeks later I had a phone call telling me that the sale fell through I couldn’t believe they actually rang me! But I’m so glad that they did! Chuffed to bits with the guitar it was better than advertised! Excellent company great service and very polite and friendly to deal with! Thanks so much guys!!

I was greeted with a little humour on arrival and made si welcome, they were soon on the same page as me with my guitars. When I picked them up later the guitars sounded so refreshing. Thank you

Local family run business. The guys were really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly without any pressure to buy. They made the process of buying my guitar a real pleasure. I'm delighted with the Martin guitar I bought and next time I am in the market for a guitar I will definitely be looking to buy from them again.

Found this shop on the Internet and I'm so glad I did. Buying a guitar for my sons 18th and the 2 guys in there where more than helpful. Such a friendly, no pressure experience. Will definitely shop there again. Thanks lads.

I've just bought a Cort Sunset tc guitar from Austin guitars through Reverb and couldn't be happier. The price I paid was the cheapest on the internet and the guitar was delivered in under 48 hours of making the order. Totally recommend these guys.

Hello musicians, after a recent purchase of a Revelation RBG Semi acoustic bass guitar which arrived about a week ago.unfortunately a tad heavy for a senior citizen with arthritis. Thus decided to purchase a Hofner ignition hollowbody bass I must say Reg (Austin Guitars Ltd.) not only accepted the return of the Revelation in express time but also provided me with me a Hofner Ignition Club bass in express time too. He really understood my plight as Austin Guitars are based in Liverpool & me in Brighton Sussex and within 24 hours the Hofner arrived at my front door and Reg made this happen to which I was extremely grateful with the turn around & service by Austin Guitars.

Austin guitars made us feel so welcome today. I really enjoyed my visit and am so pleased with my purchase. Would highly recommend a visit. It’s situated in a delightful converted barn with its own parking. It’s only a small place but with a diverse selection of acoustic guitars for beginners to a few select unique guitars like the one I purchased. The website states clearly their stock of all guitars both acoustic and electric. Paul made my buying experience a good and memorable one.

I have recently taken my Vintage Statesborough guitar to Austin guitars to be set up and it has come back a totally different instrument, I cannot recommend them enough. Great value and people who love everything guitar.

I bought a Fender case from Austin Guitars via Gumtree. Reg - the owner - was very courteous and polite by email, sent the case quickly and in good condition. There weren't any keys with the case and when I pointed this out Reg promised to refund the cost of a set.

A genuine, reasonable guy who puts his customers before profits. Highly recommended.
