Very good quality repair, the boots are really good as new.

I don't like to leave a 2 star review , so you read and decide if it's fair

Firstly, comms via IG were excellent. The person handling the comms was pretty quick in replying etc

Sent outs in after long discussions about requirements and they eventually came back... with a beige sole, not the black they went it with...

Comms were apologetic and a return was arranged.

Several weeks passed despite me being told it would be around 10 days

Boots finally back and are ok. Scuffed from handling but ok. I'd expect a quick wipe over with conditioner to send them back looking like they were when they went in, but no big deal

Timpsons would have been the same price, quicker, and I'd have felt more inclined to make a fuss. As it is, I have simply accepted i can't recommend ...
Or use them again.

Zero gesture was offered for the inconvenience either.

My boots (10 years+ old) look better than they did when they were new. Process was easy to follow and completed much quicker than estimated. Would thoroughly recommend.

My much loved Dubarrys have been restored to their former glory. Re-soled & heeled - like new & a bargain “ to boot!”

Brilliant service. Beautiful repair of well loved boots that I was not ready to part with. These were an unbranded boot and they managed to find a suitable sole. Delighted and now I can enjoy my old friends for years to come!

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for recently repairing my beloved old Dubarry Galway boots for me. I burst into tears of joy when I opened the box, as I actually couldn’t believe my eyes. They were sent away in such a dreadful state, with the soles hanging off, and the footbeds crumbling away, that I thought they were really only fit for the bin. I actually never truly believed that they could be salvaged. And yet, here they were, looking literally as good as new. And bless you, they had even been given a clean!
These old boots have been on so many adventures with me, and they have been such faithful old friends over the years. They were irreplaceable in my eyes, as I personally feel that the former high quality of these boots is now no longer a feature, so buying a new replacement pair was never an option.

From the initial email enquiry and placing my order, to receiving my shoes back with new soles, a first class service. I placed my order, used the Royal Mail label provided and sent my 1461 shoes off for new soles. 7 days later I received an email to say they were complete and had been despatched, they arrived the next morning. A first class repair to an old faithful pair of shoes by a first class company, thank you!

Everything was so easy. I followed the step by step instructions and when I had a question and got in touch with the team, the response was prompt and professional.

I had a 10+ year old pair of Scarpa walking boots which started to let water in and the soles were degrading so sent them in and despite needing to pay a little extra for extra work required, the boots were returned to me with immaculate and sturdy new soles. My boots have many years left in them now. Would much rather pay £100 or so to get new soles than pay over £300 for new boots so thank you so much to the Boot Repair Co. Will be sending my Docs in soon!

From the point of contact to the return of my Red Wing boots, I could not of had better service.

I have a pair of Red Wing Beckham boots whose soles were in desperate need of replacing. I live in Argentina and brought them back to the UK this winter. I chose The Boot Repair Company after reading about the positive reviews and being a recognised Red Wing repair service. After an initial issue that was sorted out by Rachelle in a very professional manner I was delighted with the quality of the work. Thanks to all concerned for the professional service.

With two pairs of DM's that sorely needed new soles and rewelting I turned to the Boot Repair Company - as recommended by Dr. Martens. I'm glad I did as the quality of the repaired boots are as if they were a new pair.
The price was reasonable, considering the price of a new pair of DM's. The shipping process straightforward, and turnaround surprisingly quick.
I haven't tried their non DM service yet but I'm sure it will be just as good.
Will recommend.

From start to finish, the customer care has been amazing! Tom in Customer support was fabulous and kept me informed about the process throughout. I am so pleased with the final product...my boots are now back to their perfect self!

What a great company to deal with. I sent my Dubarry coat to them to be repaired as it had a tear on the front pocket. 2 days after they received it I had an email to say it had been repaired and was being dispatched via UPS. I was so impressed at the quick turnaround, however once UPS got hold of it that’s when things started to go wrong. UPS emailed me to say they had received it and said it would be out for delivery the next day, 2 minutes after the 1st email I got another email to say it had been delayed and would be the following day I.e. Friday. Nothing arrived on the Friday and then UPS went quiet, no information at all. In the Monday I contacted Rochelle at the Boot Repair company and she raised a complaint with UPS. After over a week UPS admitted to losing the parcel, during this time Rochelle kept me fully informed about what was going on. Rochelle informed me on the 21st January that they would replace the jacket, sure enough this morning 22nd January I received a brand new replacement jacket. I cannot thank Rochelle enough for her help in this matter, what a star she has been, she is a credit to your company.
