I sent my very tired looking Lowa Combat mk1's to get new soles and rand and a tidy up, and I have to say how impressed I was !!! Not only did the work get carried to a very high standard but I also received the boots back within 2 weeks of posting them to be repaired !!

I sent my Blundstone boots to have new soles fitted because the actual soles on the boots are poor quality and perish way before their time. I sent my boots expecting there to be a 4 week wait. My boots were repaired and sent back to me within 2 weeks. The boots look better than they did when they were new. The service is quick professional and the end product is excellent. I only wish I’d kept my previous pair of blundstones to be re soled.

I attempted to get my Vivobarefoot boots resoled by Revivo, through The Boot Repair Company. Unfortunately the courier service they use, Inpost, failed to deliver my order on three separate occasions, claiming a different delivery date after confirming the delivery window. Eventually Inpost claimed they couldn't find my main road address and the boots were returned to sender.

I made the reasonable request that The Boot Repair Company send the order with literally any other courier, none of them struggle to find me. Tom at The Boot Repair Company refused, falsely (and a little bit illegally) tried to claim that I wasn't entitled to a refund.

Fortunately Revivo strongly disagreed and after I showed them the email chain, immediately issued a full refund.

It's a shame I can't get my Vivos repaired because they have to go through these, err, lovely folk.

Just got my Redwings boots back in just over a week from sending them off. New sole and a clean. Look so good! Brand new. I was a little worried about sending them off, but it was so easy with an email to say they arrived and constant updates about the return delivery once the boots were ready. Will use again definitely.

My Barbour bag was repaired and sent back to me but unfortunately the courier (Inpost) has been completely useless - they have failed to communicate and ultimately failed to deliver my bag. Rachelle has been fantastic, proactively ordering me a new bag and keeping me updated. The service from the Boot Repair Company has been great although I would suggest they use a different delivery service.

The web site is easy to use. Rachelle from The Boot Repair Company answered my questions regarding the repair required and the order process was straightforward. The repair was carried out faster than I was expecting and the boors were returned well packaged. The repair to the boots is superb. I opted for the additional cleaning and conditioning option which returned the boots to looking almost brand new which was amazing as they have covered a lot of miles!

I sent my old Scarpa hiking boots for repair on 5th August 2026. BRC contacted me to let me know that they had received them, but that slightly more work needed to be done to repair them. I agreed to that. I received my boots back on 12th August. The work that had been carried out was done to a really high standard and craftsmanship.
I will now be able to use my boots for quite a few years to come.

I’m giving this company a zero out of five stars because I’m not sure if they’re reliable.

The first repair was terrible, so I reported it and returned the sandals to BRC for a second attempt. The second repair was much better, but it still didn’t meet my expectations for £65. So, I ordered new sandals from Birkenstock to compare the cork material and the numbers stamped on the footbed.

I thought the Boot Repair Company was the official authorised repair partner for Birkenstock in the UK, but when I asked Birkenstock, their AI system didn’t confirm it. Eventually, someone from Birkenstock said they don’t have any authorized repair partners.

After two repair attempts, the sandals are now super tight. The new cork hasn’t been sealed, and I reported this issue, but BRC ignored it.

Some areas of the sandals are still not glued properly, and I’m worried that these areas will get worse over time.

The footbeds have different numbers, and the numbers aren’t very clear. (15 5Y 828 and 96 5Y7 26) I asked about this, but BRC ignored me again. I have a new pair of clogs from Birkenstock and compared the numbers on both left and right footbeds: 70 5YF45 were the same.

Because my repaired sandals were no longer wearable without being modified, I ordered new ones. The numbers on both left and right footbeds were the same too: 16 6Y7 15.

No dispatched note or receipt was provided, resulting in the absence of information regarding the work performed and the confirmation of the guarantee on work carried out.

After complaining on Trustpilot about not receiving a receipt, I received excuses and a poorly made attempt at one.

A proper repair receipt or invoice should clearly outline the specific scope of work completed and separate the charges for labor from any parts or materials. Under UK consumer regulations like the Consumer Rights Act

2015, providing a clear breakdown helps verify that services were carried out with reasonable care and skill.

We are sorry that you were not happy with the original repair. I can confirm
that we are indeed an authorised repair partner for Birkenstocks and
we only ever use official Birkenstock cork footbeds & treads on our
sandal repairs.
The stamped numbers on the footbed will (probably) be different, they're
used for manufacturing purposes (batch number I suspect) and it's beyond
my personal knowledge what they represent.
I don't want to dismiss your review because we all truly find it upsetting
when we hear someone is dissatisfied with the quality of our work. We
really do hope that the recent repair meets your expectations and I wait in
anticipation for your follow up review.
Edit / Follow-up: I don't want to take your review away because I disagree
with some of your points, you have every right to say how you feel.
The new footbeds are the same size as the originals and they arrive to us
with a light coating of sealer, and I am being honest. Sealer on the cork
footbeds not something we ever do or touch. You did have concerns
regarding the coating on yours, it wasn't addressed and I think we made a
mistake in not bringing that up originally to you and explain that.
For the glue and dent situation I am sorry for, but our repairers who I have to
defend in this situation did retouch the glue for you and deemed them
ready to head back your way. They've handled many repairs to an excellent
standard throughout the summer and I don't believe they would have sent
them out to you again unless they were deemed ready.
You do have 6 months warranty with your repair, from the day you get them
back. This applies to all BRC repairs and it's on our website as well.
We don't send out invoices as standard unless requested but dispatch
notes are sent to the provided email address as soon as your repair is
dispatched. We will send the invoice for you now.
It's difficult to write this without showing hostility and it's not my intention
show you any of that.

I bought some Valencia sandals on Vinted but during delivery one of the tassels came off (allegedly!). This was refunded in order for me to send them to the boot room for repair. It then transpired that superglue had been used to attach the tassel which could damage the sandal further whilst repairing.
The Boot Room were so helpful and kept me updated. I couldn’t rate them enough. The sandals have been returned and you wouldn’t know the difference! Tom and the team are amazing and I have the sandals I wanted (no longer available in this colour)
If you’re in doubt about using them please be reassured they are a brilliant team!!

Just received my Red Wing Boots back after having a re condition and new vibram sole fitted . Absolutely Superb!!! The quality of craftmanship was brilliant, they are like a new pair of boots . Actually (3yearsold) . It is summer so this might change but a 1 week turn around . Posted them myself and returned by secure tracked delivery . Great communication at all stages could not be easier . FAULTLESS, THANKS TO ALL 🙏

I'm amazed at the quality of my boot repair. I thought they were beyond a tidy job, but they've managed it. I wish I could upload before and after photos.

Used this company to have new soles fitted to my Berghaus walking boots. Really fantastic service. I felt slightly nervous posting them off, but the company emailed as soon as they arrived with them, and kept in touch throughout. The boots were returned to me within 2 weeks. Now that they have new soles, I realise how bad the old ones were! Would highly recommend.

So impressed with quality of repair. Like getting a brand new shoe at half the price. The delivery people messed up the delivery and the company worked tirelessly to sort it. Amazing service!

My beloved Blundstone boots came back more comfortable than ever, with a pleasantly squishy insole and completely professional, polished job on the resole - as well as some new stitching on the heel.

You wouldn't be able to tell they've been repaired. For me, knowing the adventures I've shared with them, and that they were fixed by a company with such integrity here in the UK, makes them all the more special! The best kind of secret!
