It's quicker and easier to obtain a response from a high street bank than it is from this organisation.

I wanted to take out a secured loan rather than my savings.The staff had the paperwork ready within an hour and the funds in my bank the same day.Excellent Service.

I have been with the CVCU for what is likely 10 years now.
I have saved and had several loans with them since this time.
They are professional, approachable and easy to contact. Every person I have had contact with have been extremely helpful and they have always surpassed expectation with the speed in which my requests are dealt with.
The forms are clear and concise and they always ensure I understand what is happening at every stage.
I would also say Emma who dealt with my latest loan was outstanding, she was friendly and I felt supported and informed throughout.
I would absolutely recommend CVCU.

Excellent service as always. I found out that my bank was transferring money to my CU account with no reference. Sent an email with the details of each transaction and had the issue sorted out within one working day, all my transfers had been found and allocated to my account.

I had an issue with withdrawing funds in the evening so I left a message for Cardiff& Vale CU the following morning and within minutes a lovely person called Jess called me and helped me resolve the issue. Jess then went over and above and called me again to ensure my issue had been resolved which it had. She also highlighted some key information for me that as being a member for 4 years now I had forgotten so I was really appreciative of this. Thank you Jess for your support you were fab! Your service was impeccable I also use CU professionally and it just cemented the valued support that this service offers to the most vulnerable members of society.

I save with my local credit union though payroll deductions from my wages taken by my employer then passed into my credit union account. I recently needed a loan and don't have the best credit score.

The process was straight forward and had a decision in a few days then money was on my bank via Bacs. I would highly recommend saving with them they also do Christmas saving plans and loans and you can now have child benefit paid into a credit union account and that can then be used to save or repayment for a loan.

The staff are always friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the services they provide. Keep up the excellent work .

Cardiff & Vale CU helped my family during very hard times caused by the pandemic. The staff were all so kind, understanding and helpful and saved my tenancy.
