COAP Wings Opiniones

I've been to several ground based shoots organised by COAP's Rich and Steve including 3 this year. All have been so incredibly well organised and researched. The help they get from all concerned make these probably the best photoshoots out there.

This latest one at North Weald, recreating the last flight of the B-17 Memphis Belle, with a team of actors together with support from an MUA is surely going to be hard to beat.

Richard Cooper with Steven Comber organised and ran one of the most exciting photo-shoots I have ever attended. Their professional actors made you feel you were back in 1943 shooting a B-17 Flying Fortress with its aircrew ready for action in WW2. Both Richard and Steven were amazing keeping control and so totally sympathetic to the photographer's needs and wishes. I have attended many similar shoots but have never been so thrilled as I was last Saturday. Well done guys.

COAP is aimed at providing enthusiasts and Photographers with unbeatable Aviation photography orientated events to get involved with, these can be based in the UK or group travel experiences
I have been Lucky enough to indulge my photographic hobby and enhance my knowledge and skills whilst taking part in ground based photography shoots and also dynamic Air 2 Air which is an unforgettable experience
COAP also offers a friendly members website which offers tip tricks and online classes for those who wish to partake or an occasional non to serious look at all things aviation its aimed to appeal to all and in my view it does very well
If your looking to improve your Photography and your an Aviation buff or just fancy trying something new like Air 2Air then frankly COAP can't be betten

What a day, if only I had seen it sooner and done both days or dare I say the air-to-air! The event ran smoothly and was very well organised and coordinated, the actors were amazing and very obliging to any requests, even the weather played ball. Definitely the first of many events for me with COAP.

Finland Air2Air 2021 - best air2air shoot I’ve been on - ever! Rich and Steve did a fantastic job as usual. Great photo opportunities and great company. Can highly recommend joining a COAP trip.

Absolutely standout organization! They are the experts in the business and organize fantastic events with opportunities you can’t get with anyone else!

I've been following COAP from the start, possibly from its nucleus stage of the aviation photo club days. I must say that the people behind the scenes who literally make dreams come true are exceptional in their fields. This is not a travel company nor a photo club. COAP is a community where like minded people can come together and enjoy the world of aviation, be it on the ground within the perimeter fence at a super base in Nevada, photo workshops at a local museum or flying air to air with latest tech a few feet away from an open ramp. I have been very privileged to taste a selection of trips run by Rich Cooper, Steve Comber and the likes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who is thinking about treating themselves to one of the many trips or workshops. I would like to wish the guys and girls at COAP a speedy recovery during this time of upheaval and all of the aviation community the very best during these uncertain times.

Great guys really well organised did two coap live sesions with them and that was very good indeed

My experience with COAP has always been positive. You have been creative, receptive, and energetic in ensuring that aviation photographers are provided with great opportunities to pursue our art and get to events often closed to the general public. You have improved my photography not only through your access to and enthusiasm towards events and air arms throughout the world, but through your willingness to go the extra mile to get your clients the photos that we may not have otherwise considered or envisioned on our own. These are tough times, but as my Mother would say, “this too shall pass.” Stay healthy, focus on what you can do during this crisis, and know that when this is over, clients and friends and fellow travelers will be eager and willing to get back into our hobby in a big way!

Hang in there, “chin up,” and stay safe!

I haven't been able to attend any missions but really enjoy seeing the results from those that do.

I attended one of COAPs one day workshops to learn about how best to use Lightroom and the day was superb from beginning to end. It was very informative, with great opportunities within the day and with great humour as well. Cheers!

COAP offers the widest selection of unique aviation photography experiences available. The staff, led by fellow photographer Rich Cooper, is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. They are simply the best at what they do.

I did a few aviation photography trips with COAP in the last 4 years. It did not take long before I felt like I was traveling with friends. The group is usually fairly small and we get to know each other quickly. We share a love for aviation. COAP can bring you to places you can't get access to by yourself; e.g. a live practice session with two A-10s! And there are air-to-air sessions too from time to time. Air-to-air sessions are not cheap but I found that the cost was better with COAP than other outfits. Air-to-air sessions are the top in aviation photography; it is exciting and the results speak for themselves! Being next to the planes or above them gives you the best lighting.
With COAP, the trips are social events; we get together at the end of the end and have a drink, remembering the events of the day.
Depending on the trip, the days start early and there may be a lot of driving but we see a lot of aviation action.
COAP is the best way to push your boundaries in aviation photography!

If you have the slightest interest in aviation photography and the possibility for world travel to experience far flung cultures, COAP is the place for you. Photographing alongside the best aviation photographers in the world, in places you would never be normally able to access, both in the military and civilian airspace, is one of the most exciting things you can do. Meeting new like-minded friends and having great fun to go alongside the amazing aviation photography expeditions, improving your camera skills all the while, COAP is the place to be!

COAP gives aviation opportunities like no other. The best in the business, my aviation photography has improved so much from being around Steve and Rich and the varied places and access it brings is second to none. I felt part of a family being on these trips with small groups of people which have evolved into many great friendships. It becomes very addictive as nothing else stands up to it after being on one of these trips.
Simply The Best !!

COAP is the best organization when it comes to aviation photography. Steve and Rich are very talented and really know how to get things together.
I do have one little suggestion: please don't forget that there are plenty of good places and opportunities to photograph in Europe also. I know Asia, Alaska and other exotic places are very nice to explore and have great opportunities but not everybody has the budget or the time to go to these places.
Keep up the good work guys!
Best regards,
Kris Christiaens

I've been on several COAP trips, all of which have been well organised and enjoyable.
They have largely delivered what each set out to achieve, often actually managing to exceed expectations.
Whilst the main aims are aviation themed, there is always an effort to seek cultural opportunities if feasible too.
I also like it that most groups are knowledgeable about many things, not just aviation that means discussion and banter within the group is always good, especially when having a meal and a few beers at the end of each day.
Also, you're free to do your own thing, if for any reason you have a preference to the arranged itinerary for a given day.

Great team of photographers and aviation freaks :) They will always deliver not only on photography but also on a social side. Pleasure to shoot and travel with! Highly recommended!

The world’s best organisation for high quality aircraft photography. They bring you to unique places and opportunities.

These guys welcomed me like an old friend on my first photography trip recently. Everything went off brilliantly, I learnt a lot, saw some fantastic aircraft from every angle and made some wonderful friends. If you can, go, you won’t regret it!
