Lovely gardens and beautiful house,!but not as clean as I would have liked. All the necessary appliances were there but the house lacked home comforts like cushions and throws on the sofa or a blanket for the bed for those chilly evenings, it felt quite sparse.

Disgraceful company . Booked shepherds hut in pedney. Had to cancel due to medical emergency that the hospital did procedure that went wrong. I was not asking for refund but to just change date. And they said no . Noticed there are loads of dates available. Will not rebook again or make sure friends do not use this

I regularly stay in Cornwall at Smugglers Cottage, Helston, which is a delightful cottage in a favourite area. Classic Cottages are a delight to deal with and went the extra mile to accommodate me when I had a mixup with my dates last year! Highly recommended also as their properties are first rate.
Smugglers is now a home from home.

First visit to Freathy and Cornwall the cottage lived up to our expectations, spectacular views well equipped clean comfortable and quirky garden. bit of a hike to the beach which was beautiful and extensive
Life guards in attendance too to keep everyone safe with the tides

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting with amazing views across the fields. Bright and clean, very comfortable bed and amazing bathroom with large shower cubicle. Highly recommended.

We had such a fantastic time at the cabin. So quiet and beautiful. I have a very stressful job and for the first time in years I was able to totally unwind. There is everything you need at the cabin for a short break. I even read a couple of books which I haven't done for fun in a long time. The hot tub was an absolute luxury, very efficient, and my advice is have faith, give it time to do it's thing it gets very warm.

Amazing owners who greet you on arrival to show you around, then leave you in peace. The hot tub was already being primed when we arrived (bliss). Everything was just Amazing, thank you so very much

Absolutely disgraceful company!

They seem to think that taking £400 for a cancellation fee is completely reasonable, leaving me with a £200 refund.

Very rude via phone, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Used Classic Cottages many times, they are always friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a unique holiday home found on classic cottages website. We’ve had the best holiday cottage experience. What a find and now lots more unique cottages to book for future holidays with this company. Customer service was excellent. I had to contact them to remove our dog from the booking. This was handled very quickly and money deducted. I liked that you could pay for the cottage in 3 payments as it helped me budget for our holiday.

A lovely house and ideal for larger parties in Gwithian, Cornwall. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our 3 night break. Would definitely stay here again. Good location near the beach and local pub.

We've had some lovely holidays booked through Classic Cottages, and always been happy. It starts with the website – everything is done with a lot of care. I'm a fusspot when choosing a holiday venue – furnishings, colours and decor matter at least as much as the destination! The photos on CC's website are superb, and – trawling through cottages at random – even those I wouldn't necessarily book, all are furnished with individual personality and a lot of attention to detail. Booking is easy, and from there on everything always goes smoothly. I'd like to be able to say CC are brilliant if there's a problem, but there's never really been one (except once when we couldn't get in on arrival, thinking the lock was stuck, but it was actually unlocked all along but the door was swollen by weeks of rain – CC were there on the end of the phone, after hours, and it was very quickly sorted, but rang back the next day as well just to make sure we were fine).

Pet friendly and with properties of a very high standard, we will continue to use classic cottages and recommend to anyone looking for the perfect family break.

Had booked a ‘dog welcome’ cottage for September this year but due to unforeseen circumstances, death of dog, gave 6 months notice of cancellation. Have been told that entire deposit is cancellation fee - over £240.
Outrageous.

Everytime we have used this company we have had such friendly and efficient service. Their properties that they pick have so far been exceptional. We love their personal touch too.
We have no complaints. Just praise.

We stayed at the Old Manor House in Charmouth and found it to be everything we desired - we had a great weekend

I have used Classic Cottages now for many years and find them very good. They have a huge selection of cottages and every one that I have booked have been very good. The service is very professional and any questions sent by e-mail are quick to get a reply. Instructions for arrival and departure are always very clear with maps and useful information for you particular area.
